The Hidden Dragon In-Law

Elizabeth Ma was just brought to the police station and immediately shoved into an interrogation room.

Several officers came in right away, sat in front of her, and asked, "Elizabeth Ma, have you thought it over these past two days? Are you ready to confess?"

Elizabeth cried, "Officer, I’m really being framed..."

The officer snorted coldly, "What? Still resisting? Do you really think we’re pushovers? If we can’t catch your accomplice, you’ll have to take the fall for all the crimes. In that case, you might be facing the death penalty!"

Hearing the possibility of a death sentence, Elizabeth panicked and pleaded, "Officer, I’ve said it many times, that card really isn’t mine!"

"I took that card from my son-in-law’s pocket, and the card’s password is my son-in-law’s birthday. This proves that the card belongs to him, not me. Since you say this card is involved in an international fraud case, the real mastermind must be my damned son-in-law. Why don’t you arrest him instead of me?"

The officer sneered, "Your son-in-law’s name is James Ye, right?"

Elizabeth hurriedly asked, "Have you investigated him? Did you arrest him? Did you interrogate him? Did you use any means to make him confess?"
