Chapter 448
James Ye looked at Paul curiously and asked, "Paul, do you often come to China?"
Paul shook his head and smiled, "I only come occasionally for business trips, but each time never lasts more than a week."
James, puzzled, asked, "Then how do you know so much about tea, Chinese furniture, and wood?"
Paul laughed, "Mainly because my mom loves these things. I was exposed to them from a young age under her influence."
He continued, "Don't be fooled by my mixed-race appearance, looking more like a Caucasian. Deep down, I'm a thoroughbred Asian. My mom's influence on me was huge, and I have a deep love for Chinese culture, cuisine, customs, and everything about China."
"I see," James nodded while boiling water on the tea table, preparing to brew tea with leaves he was tricked into buying on WeChat.
After brewing the tea, James poured a cup for Paul and himself, smiling as he said to Paul, "Here, try my father-in-law's tea."
Paul nodded in thanks, then lifted the cup to his lips and took a small sip.
What do you think?
