After dinner, James Ye politely declined Patricia Song's offer to drive him home. He bid farewell to her and Old Master Song in front of Tianxiang Mansion and walked alone to a nearby Construction Bank.
At the bank, he transferred 998 million from the card given to him by Old Master Song into his own account, leaving only 2 million on the original card before heading home.

James took out a bank card and said, "There's 2 million on this card."
"Two million?!" Elizabeth's eyes widened in disbelief.
Excitedly, she grabbed the card and exclaimed, "You're not fooling me, are you? Is there really 2 million on this card?"
"Yes," James replied calmly, "I checked at the ATM, and it's indeed 2 million."
"That's great!" Elizabeth cheered excitedly.
