Chapter 224: The Power Of Bing Xue’s Disciples
Chapter 224: The Power Of Bing Xue’s Disciples
-----
“That Aiyana’s sure a monster…” Jackes muttered, twitching his eyebrows. “Even after training this much, I can’t believe how strong she got… She doesn’t even need the feel of using weapons; she just fights with her bare body.”
“She’s incredible!” Sara said. “She is like the embodiment of female strength! I am her fan! Oh well, Lady Bing Xue is also like that too, but… Aiyana has big muscles!”
“I’m fairly sure Bing Xue would have gigantic muscles if she wanted…” Jackes sighed. “Anyways, we have to get going. Sara, are you…?”
“I’m working on it right now; please rest assured, Jackes!” Sara smiled gently. “It should be ready within a minute.”
FLAAASH!
Above Sara, a gigantic magic circle continued spreading constantly, as hundreds of runes were being created and inscribed through it.
This was no mere Magic Circle though, but the combination of Magic Circles with Formations, something that had been first created by little Athena, who was born with such a talent.
And then, it was discovered by Francisco right here, who had continued perfecting this art to this point. Different from Athena, who could unleash formations as a part of her innate ability, this was more of a construct, and it required some time.
“Aiyana should be more than enough to deal with the enemy army that hasn’t… become clowns, I guess,” Francisco said. “I will go take care of the army over there and see if the King is fine. Jackes, will you go see if the Queen is alright? She must be in the castle… over there.”
“Sure, I shall,” Jackes nodded. “Leave it to me, Francisco!”
“Thank you,” Francisco nodded, feeling that Jackes had finally become more cooperative and friendly after Bing Xue gave him a lot of “training correction”. “You’ve sure become nicer…”
“I-I am the same as always!” Jackes didn’t want to admit it, flying away as quickly as possible.
“Alright then… Sara, I’ll be leaving some protection for you just in case,” Francisco said, waving his staff as several dozen projections of pure Mana manifested.
“{Elemental Arcane Doppelganger Spirits}”
FLASH! FLASH! FLASH! FLASH!
These were Artificial Spirits created out of pure Elemental Power and Mana and no Spirit Energy, as Francisco wasn’t compatible with it no matter how hard he touched the Spirit Tree.
So, he decided that to harness the power of Spirits, he would simply create them himself from scratch, surprising even Bing Xue.
“Thank you, Fran!” Sara smiled cutely. “Leave it to me; I am plenty strong. If someone comes to attack me, I am positive I can fend them off on my own.”
“Sure, I know, but just in case, you never know what could appear,” Francisco said, before teleporting away instantly using a Teleportation Spell, accidentally leaving behind his wizard hat floating around.
Sara managed to catch it barely, as she held onto it while concentrating, her face becoming more and more serious as her eyes turned completely white.
FLAAASH!
Her gigantic, golden formation wasn’t simply creating itself, but it required a great deal of concentration. At the same time, she was also analyzing the bloodshed and chaos down there and how what was affecting these people worked.
“It’s not a curse either…” She thought. “Is it really a mental manipulation power? No, it’s something different. There’s nothing magical or physical within their heads, but it is as if something had caused their very thoughts to be rewired.”
Sara began to rapidly unveil the truth behind the laughter and the clown faces, but the beings beneath her weren’t going to just let her do as she pleased; immediately noticing the massive golden formation circle, they started pointing their weapons at her.
“Gyahahahaha!”
They laughed maniacally as Sara saw hundreds of magic spells reaching her. Fireballs, Slicing Wind Attacks, Blades of Light, Beams of Darkness, and more elemental spells bombarded her.
At the same time, all the weapon wielders, mostly spear users, fired their spears at her like javelins, infusing them with all their Mana to make them as strong as possible.
“Ah!”
Sara panicked slightly as she quickly conjured several golden barriers around her; the explosive attacks hit her, bombarding her surroundings.
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
Her barrier was able to hold on pretty well; however, without gaining a single crack at all, it had been reinforced and strengthened by the Formation she was creating above her head.
“I would rather not fight or hurt another human… And even if I tried to, there are allies mixed in between enemies.” Sara sighed. “The clown makeup and their similar armor really don’t make it easy.”
She quickly expanded her golden barriers, and then several eyes began to open through them, glaring at the clowns beneath, who started to rapidly laugh even louder while walking over one another.
Like ants, they began to form large masses of just bodies getting together. Without the power of Claudius letting them fly easily, they wanted to reach Sara by climbing over one another.
“I suppose I should still do something… But don’t worry; I won’t kill you.”
Sara smiled, as her eyes glowed bright gold, changing from their silver color; the eyes of her barriers opened, with large white eyelashes and golden pupils.
“{Divine Saintly Magic}: {God’s Eyes}”
FLAAASH! FLAAASH! FLAAASH! FLAAASH!
The eyes opened as they released a bright wave of white light, encompassing the massive swarm of clowns, covering them with bright light, and then exerting a tremendous pressure over their bodies!
TRUUUMMM!!!
The gigantic swarm of brainwashed soldiers was pushed down as they fell to the ground and were unable to move before the gaze of God’s Eyes, something that seemed to paralyze them through the sheer volume of Sara’s Mana and Ki.
“Before God’s Eyes, nobody can move as long as they glance upon you!” Sara said. “Please stay there for a minute, okay?”
As someone who was very religious, Sara’s powers and magic were manifested based on her own Class and also on her beliefs. These powers embodied the “God” she believed in, unleashing tremendous power that not even Bing Xue had seen before.
Her magic was both simple and also incredibly complex, fueled and strengthened through the faith and the faith of those within the religion she followed.
Bing Xue, back then, had figured out that this was the special Talent or Power of “Saints”—those with Saint Classes given to them from the beginning developed unique abilities.
But perhaps this was also something beyond the System, a power born from within her heart.
“Gyahahaha!”
“Guuaaahahaha!”
“Gehehehehe!”
“Hahahaah!”
The laughter continued intensifying; they were unable to fight back, but their laughter accumulated within a single point, becoming so incredibly loud that Sara was beginning to experience a strong headache.
“Ugh…! It is as if a demon was whispering into my ears…!” Sara muttered. “I must hold on…! This is nothing before my faith!”
She harnessed her powers and moved them into her head, creating a powerful protective shield against the constant mental corrosion she was receiving.
“{Divine Saintly Magic}: {Ascended Mind}!”
FLAAASH!
Her head glowed as a third golden eye emerged in her forehead, shining brightly. A powerful mental protection was conjured, allowing her to resist the laughter.
However, she could still hear it, and through that alone, it still felt annoying, so she quickly deafened her barriers, leaving no sound to leak into her surroundings.
“It was painful, but… I think this has given me the chance to analyze how this laughter works and spreads!” She thought. “I was able to feel something when I was listening to it. It was as if everything originated from a single man somewhere; it was the root of all of this! But for now, the problem I have to solve is to heal these people…!”
She quickly infused the power of the Ascended Mind Spell into her formation, realizing it was the perfect addition; the golden runes continued being weaved, over seventy percent of the formation circle was mostly done, and she would only need a few hundred more to finish.
“I hope everyone else is doing alright…!”
.
.
.
“Where is the King at?!”
Francisco flew around, expanding his Mana Aura as he saw droves of clowns chasing soldiers and then more clowns trying to escape outside of the battlefield and propagate. Using a special Spell named “King Tracking” which he created just now, he was able to quickly fly to where the King was, but the more destruction he saw, the more stops he had to take.
“Dammit!”
He quickly descended, waving his hands and creating large barriers, where the uninfected soldiers were placed, protecting them from the clowns that constantly laughed. He made sure to make the barriers deafening as well, so the people inside couldn’t listen.
The worst thing was that the clowns were mixed between enemies and allies; hence, he hesitated to harm them. Although Bing Xue never told them what to do except help out the King win the battle, it was up to them how they resolved this.
“I just don’t have to kill them, right? Everything else is fine, isn’t it?”
He smiled, rapidly waving his hands, as emerald winds, crimson flames, holy light, and lightning merged within his hands, and then he released it upon the massive horde of clowns.
“{Divine Arcane Fusion Magic}: {Elemental Catastrophe}”
The massive tornado of flames, electricity, winds, and holy light engulfed his foes; the clowns were sent flying away while being paralyzed, stunned, and blinded, with their bones broken.
BOOOMMMM!!!
Once the massive explosion engulfed them all, Francisco glanced down below, sighing; he could feel that they were alive… Maybe one or two died, though, but at this point, he couldn’t care less.
These weren’t even Earthling soldiers; even if “allies,” they were still people from the Tower, and he didn’t feel bad about their casualties; if anything, this was simply an obligation.
“{Elemental Catastrophe Echo}: {Divided Elemental Destruction}!”
Francisco roared, conjuring another spell right away as he saw more clowns approaching him, which merged into a giant swarm, resembling ants themselves.
FLUOOOSH!
The tornado of elements quickly spread out and divided into several dozen smaller attacks, bombarding his foes from several points, as explosions erupted everywhere, rapidly beginning to spread through the battlefield.
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
There were no casualties this time, as he was able to control his strength much better, and those that remained conscious were paralyzed by the thunder and weakened by the burns and their broken bones.
“Good, just like Batman, you don’t have to kill them; just break their bones and make sure they never do crimes again.” Francisco said while smiling.
FLASH!
As he moved towards the King much more easily, he saw him struggling, fighting dozens of clowns at once. He was unable to stop them like Francisco, so he had to slaughter them, either friend or foe.
He was fierce, though, slicing them apart or ending them with powerful and explosive techniques; however, he looked weary, and all while protecting a long-haired, blonde man, whose body looked pale.
Fran didn’t take long enough to realize it was the corpse of Claudius, the man that had come to invade the territory.
“So their leader is dead, and yet they continue fighting…!” Francisco facepalmed. “Well, the clown flu is probably a separate enemy, some kind of invader from the Gray Gates again, sowing chaos for no reason other than their own amusement. How frustrating.”
As he rushed down, the King gasped for air; his energies, after so long of fighting, were finally depleted, and he looked more and more exhausted.
“Gyahahaha!”
“Heheheh!”
“Huahahaha!”
The clowns surrounded him, as they began hitting him with their punches and kicks from every angle. Their weapons were already shattered, but their strength was inhumane; the infection made them unleash all their strength, even if that broke their bones and tore apart their muscles.
“Stop already, you bastards!”
As the King grabbed the corpse of his brother tightly while taking on all the hits…
FLAAASH!
A bright flash of crimson light descended from the skies as powerful laser beams reached the clowns, disintegrating them instantly.
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
“W-Wha…?!”
Caesar glanced into the skies, noticing the young man.
“Your majesty, are you alright?”
