a large portion of the liberated rat citizens chose to pack their bags and embark on a journey outward. Wishful of life or resigned to death, they only hoped to see the outside world, for they had had enough of this corrupt and chill city.

But some opted to stay within the city, gathering at the ruins of the Plague Bed and attempting to gulp down the Plague Original Liquid flowing between the ground, wishing to achieve Open Source.

Even more so, some actually found a large hole at the center of the rubble and crawled into the cave deep, filled with corpses.

Just as these greedy rat citizens had crawled deep into the cave, ready to gnaw on the remains of the plague giant, and suck the green rot sipping between the corpses,

several rat heads lifted, as if they saw countless green eyes in the darkness watching over them.

“Chitter~ Could Lord Dugall actually not be dead?”

Invading the Plague Bed was a grave crime. Terrified out of their wits, the rat citizens prepared to flee the cave as fast as they could.

As they turned to run, however, everything before them plunged into pitch darkness.

It wasn’t that someone had turned off the lights, but that their eyeballs had all been stripped away in an instant… All the eyeballs in the underground cave, whether belonging to the dead or the living, converged towards a certain direction on their own.
