Summoners War: Only I Summoned Divine Beasts

Nathan and Lena immediately exited the room, finding the soldiers moving around the ship. The people had stopped rowing the boat, and the sail was pulled up to avoid getting shredded.

The ship stopped moving and the sailors began to arm themselves, ready to attack the enemies through the small window where they rowed the ship.

The soldiers and the knights stood at the deck, planning to turn the battle into a land one.

"Is everything ready? How many are they?" Lena asked out loud.

Greg reported. "We are unsure about their number right now. However, all soldiers are in their positions."

Before Lena gave an instruction, Fenrir leaped to them and replied to Lena's question. "There are approximately 40-50 of them. They don't seem to be strong, mostly proto-class aliens. However, I do sense two stronger ones. I assume they're juvenile class aliens."

"!!!" Greg was surprised, wondering if Fenrir could truly count on them. After all, they were approaching their ship under the sea.

On the other hand, Lena furrowed her eyebrows. "Already two juvenile class aliens?"

Lena looked down. "This is not the place for the juvenile class aliens yet…Either way, get ready to attack. Her highness Flora will handle the juvenile class aliens."

"Yes, Ma'am!" Greg saluted before moving to his position.

Nathan's expression turned grim after knowing this was not normal. He was actually cursing his luck inside.

Still, he definitely could do something. "We are more proficient in fighting on land. In that case, will you allow us to fight them with the familiars we won't be using under the sea? Since they're not going to fight there, why not let Flora conserve her energy here?"

"That's not a bad idea either. The summoners under my command mostly have sea familiars like mine, so we don't really use this strategy usually. But if you're going to do that, feel free."

Nathan nodded. "In that case, let's start then."

Nathan hurriedly rushed to Selena and Flora, saying, "Flora. Conserve your energy for now. Selena. Since you're going down there with Amphitrite, let Sasha and Yin Zhen fight here. I don't really want anyone to get injured here, so we might go all out from the beginning. This way, Anubis doesn't have to waste his ena to heal people. However, don't use anything else."

Selena nodded. Flora ultimately agreed, even though she wanted to fight as well.

"It's coming!" The soldiers shouted.

The creaking sound started to fill the air as the boat was shaking violently.

"Are they trying to tilt us over? Or maybe break the ship?" Nathan frowned, maintaining his balance.

"No. This ship's enchantment isn't that weak. They can try to destroy it, but it's futile. They will eventually come to the deck and kill us here. This is the battlefield." Lena shook her head.

"I see." Nathan nodded while Fenrir turned to the right. "They're coming."

A frog-like creature grabbed the railing on the edge and climbed over. The knights raised their shields and approached the first one. Although they could push him off, they would just fall into the water, which wouldn't do much damage. Hence, the soldiers let the aliens climb first before defeating them.

However, Nathan didn't plan to wait that long.

Once he saw the hand, Nathan immediately summoned Nidhogg. "It's your time, Nidhogg. Kill them!"

Suddenly, a huge dragon appeared in the sky and dove to the side of the ship, holding two aliens with his claws before using his legs to perch on the ship.

"W-What?!" The people panicked.

However, those experienced knights immediately recognized the dragon and realized it wasn't an enemy.

"Don't panic. This is a dragon. A beast. In other words, this guy is the familiar of that unique summoner!"

The elite knights were calming the people down as they saw the dragon rip apart the alien's body with his teeth before torching the other alien.

The alien climbed the deck as if their hands were sticky. They came straight toward Nidhogg and tried to bite him, but their teeth couldn't even pierce Nidhogg's scales.

"Heh?" Nidhogg gave them a condescending gaze before killing the aliens one by one.

On the other side, Selena had an even easier time. Not only was the number of Deep Ones not as much as on the right side, they were also in disarray.

With no one leading them, the Deep Ones were just small flies. Hence, Sasha and Yin Zhen killed them easily.

"It's coming!" Fenrir shouted.

The two juvenile class aliens finally came toward them. The people were ready to stab the alien's body through the small opening, but to their surprise, the juvenile class alien suddenly leaped into the air, passing them almost immediately and giving them not a single chance to react.

Yin Zhen turned around and kicked a chubby Deep Ones, blowing him around.

Meanwhile, Sasha remained on the ship, ensuring their safety.

"Go, Yin Zhen. Kill it."

"Yes."

Nidhogg, on the other hand, took the juvenile class alien blow directly.

With Nidhogg's strength, it shouldn't be a hard fight.

Nathan squinted his eyes, noticing the disappointed looks of the soldiers. Considering this was a chance to either become a magic knight or an elite knight, the people were eager to show their contribution.

So, taking this fight from them might not be a good idea. Then again, Nathan planned to give them the chance during the return trip.

'So this is how the battle…' Nathan frowned. 'It's not as I expected. I thought they would be attacking from the water. Then again, if the ship is strong enough, they won't get destroyed.

'The way they fight alone doesn't need to be criticized.' Nathan nodded. "At least we're done now. I just want to complete the mission as quickly as possible."

1 hour into the trip, they finally arrived at their target location. The ship had suffered under two attacks, which had been dealt with swiftly as the summoners and the familiars who would fight in this place had conserved their stamina.

The summoners started jumping one by one as they made a barrier before they touched the water.
