Summoners War: Only I Summoned Divine Beasts

Chapter 755: Shocking Possibility

Nathan, Charlotte, Silvania, and Vivian came closer, inspecting the bubble of light.

"It has reached 100%," confirmed Nathan. They were expecting the light to disappear at any moment.

Light started to escape from the bubble and gradually overwhelmed it to the point of disintegrating the bubble.

Nathan and the others covered their eyes while doing their best to inspect what was happening.

Alisha's body gradually emerged from the inside. Her appearance didn't seem to have changed, but if one took a closer look, they would notice that her ears became slightly longer, even though it was hard to notice.

The massive change came from the aura around her body. It was said that a high elf had a more magical aptitude compared to an elf. With Alisha's evolution, it was confirmed in another way.

The magical energy around her felt much more ethereal, making people want to worship her.

Alisha gradually descended to the floor and opened her eyes, showing her pupils that had changed to a brighter green.

She had just evolved, so she might not be able to control the flow of her ena yet, since Nathan could feel immense energy leaking out of her pupil.

The atmosphere around her had also changed. In his memory, Alisha had a gentle but energetic vibe, but after the evolution, she felt more aloof.

But it appeared to be just the effect of evolution.

Once Alisha fully woke up, her eyes opened wide and her expression turned confused. That aloof atmosphere gradually disappeared, even though there was still indeed a change.

Nathan checked Alisha's information.

Name: Alisha

Level: 320

Ena: 89,000

Absorption Rate: 68%

Skill Unlock: 100%

Race: High Elf

Quality: Excellent (High)

Progress: 0%

Talent: 5%

Potential: 12%

Growth: 19%

It appeared the residual energy still gave her some progress after the evolution, but it didn't really matter. There was one thing he was more curious about.

"Congratulations, Alisha. You've become a high elf." Nathan smiled.

"I have become… a high elf?" Alisha was still in a state of shock, unable to process what Nathan had just said earlier.

Vivian also opened her status and confirmed that she had become a high elf. "Congratulations."

It took her a moment to finally realize that her dream had been fulfilled. "I have become a high elf?"

Alisha's eyes lit up. The atmosphere around her gradually returned to what she usually had before leaping toward Nathan. "I did it! I became a high elf!"

"You're getting too excited. Not that I mind, though," Nathan chuckled.

"Thank you very much, Young Master. It's thanks to you I'm able to become a high elf."

"No, no. Even without me, you can still become a high elf. It's just a bit slower."

"Still, we don't know when. I had always known that the mistress had been searching for the item, but the third item is called the Golden Silk Flower. It's a flower where a golden silkworm builds its nest. Thanks to the nutritious silk, the flower evolves to the Golden Silk Flower.

"This world might not have such a thing, so we'd been searching for its replacement. In fact, both items were replacements as well. That's why I was able to evolve because of you," explained Alisha.

Nathan smiled wryly. "You're welcome then. I'm glad I can repay you."

"Repayments? If we're talking about that, you're paying too much. I should give you the change." Alisha smirked.

"Hahaha. Just protect your summoner and become her strength. That's enough for me."

"Really? I thought you were going to ask me for something else." There was a mischievous smile on her face as though she could clearly see through him.

"Don't underestimate me. I'm a man of principle. Just tell me that later and I will change my answer!" Nathan shouted.

Silvania's eyebrows twitched before she facepalmed. "Man of principle?"

Nathan had just contradicted himself.

"That's my (his) principle." Nathan and Alisha refuted at the same time.

Both of them looked surprised and turned to each other before chuckling. "Hahaha."

After having their fill, Alisha finally stepped back and turned to Vivian. She fell on one knee. "Mistress. I apologize for bringing you a lot of trouble. And even though I have become a high elf, I will still need some time to get stronger. However, I promise I will become your strength."

"Yeah. I know you will. We'll work hard from now on." Vivian nodded.

Now that Alisha had calmed down, Nathan couldn't help but ask, "Still, I can see her progress path. Does that mean there's a being above high elves? Like an elven god or something?"

"I'm unaware of such a thing. High elves are known as the strongest elves, as their existence is equal to that of a dragon." Silvania shook her head.

Charlotte shook her head. "If that's the case, it will be an ancient elf."

"Ancient elf?" Silvania and Nathan couldn't help but look at her.

"Yes. Although we, fairies, are often associated with spirits, the ones who resemble spirits more are actually elves. In my world, elves are equal to spirits, high elves are equal to great spirits, and ancient elves are equal to ancient spirits. Basically, they belong to the same league as me, the queen of fairies. It's not a level that anybody can reach, though.

"Even in my memory, there are only five ancient elves in history. We are beings who are as strong as primordial dragons," explained Charlotte.

"Is that so?" Silvania looked down, falling into deep thought. "So, that means I can get even stronger?"

Nathan crossed his arms. "Why do I feel like all races have the opportunity to evolve to a greater being? Do humans have the same opportunity? Maybe like a high human or something? If not, is this actually the reason you can only call forth other races except for humans, not just because they can be pregnant or something?"

Nathan remembered the gacha game people used to play in his world. Although he didn't play it directly, he remembered everything could evolve from common to uncommon to rare to super rare to super-super rare or even ultra rare.

"If that's the case, shouldn't that make a new classification? For example, a normal race, a transcendent being, and other things? I don't know the specifics," added Nathan.

"!!!" It was Charlotte and Vivian's turn to get shocked. If this theory were confirmed, the world would definitely change.
