Summoners War: Only I Summoned Divine Beasts

Chapter 702: Machine Gun

Chapter 702: Machine Gun

'I have been too arrogant and underestimated the people in this world too much. In that case, I will have to change my mindset and not care about a lot of things for my improvement. And the first one will be…' Nathan pointed both palms toward Alan as five spheres formed around him.

Each sphere was similar to what Alan used, but the way they utilized it was different.

"!!!" Alan was shocked at first but utterly dumbfounded the moment he saw what Nathan was attempting.

His normal bullet's principle was to create the big bullet and split them. However, Alan's way of utilizing his ena was to create a basic form, which was the sphere, and turn it into something.

The reason his fighting style was unique and powerful was due to that utilization. With the basic form remaining intact, he could turn it into everything he wanted.

In that case, Nathan wanted the same thing.

Of course, if someone asked him to create a blade or something, he could probably do it but couldn't utilize it as well as Alan. Still, there was one thing that he could use in this scenario.

This whole time, he had been shooting his bullet directly. Meanwhile, back on Earth, the bullet came outside from the gun. While he had replicated it with his pistol, he hadn't really made any improvement to it.

There were a lot of types of guns he could pick. While it was still an idea that he had yet to give to Elder Thompson, it was something he could use immediately.

And Alan's power gave him an idea of how to utilize it.

He first formed those five spheres and actually shot a portion of them. In other words, he took the principle of ena within his body. As Vivian had once said, the ena particles would remain inside his body whenever he used his ena, except for the summoning contract.

These particles would recharge, which was the basic principle of recharging.

This time, Nathan used these five spheres like the particles and recharged them directly with his control. Then, he shot 80% of that energy, leaving 20% behind in order to maintain the spheres. These spheres acted like a beacon to make the recharge easier.

And because he only managed 5 spheres at once, unlike the bullets that usually were split into 64, each bullet that was fired contained the power of at least 10 bullets.

Nathan waved his hand. "Gun Control. Machine Gun."

Those five spheres shot in rapid succession. With the five spheres becoming the beacon, the recharge process could become much faster, especially with Nathan using the 'Speed' control on both hands. As for the power, he relied completely on Anubis' Synchronization.

As such, each sphere was able to shoot two bullets every second. By multiplying it by five, Nathan could shoot 10 bullets every second.

With each of them packing a much bigger punch compared to his normal bullet, Nathan felt like he was wielding a high-caliber machine gun, and he named it as such.

"Fire."

"!!!" Alan widened his eyes in shock. He hurriedly ran to the side as the bullets started raining down on him. "Kh."

The moment the bullet hit the ground, they broke the tile on the floor and even penetrated the soil before creating a small burst that kicked out the dirt underneath the tiles.

And he did it ten times per second.

Even Alan didn't dare to confront it directly. He ran as quickly as possible, dodging every single bullet.

"What the hell is that?" Alan gritted his teeth. There was one important thing that made this style effective. It was the fact Nathan kept kicking the air, maintaining his altitude. Alan would have a hard time reaching him.

He couldn't continue like this. Alan looked around and chose to hide behind a building, albeit this technique was much more powerful than he originally thought.

The bullets pierced through the walls and hit the pillars, gradually causing them to collapse. If Alan could slice a house pretty easily, Nathan could crush it as well.

Even if Alan could strike each bullet, he would become tired before long.

Unfortunately, his plan to hide inside a house didn't work.

"Kh." Alan kept running away, not knowing what to do. There was only one thing he knew. Nathan using this technique would be effective if he fought against a lot of enemies, since he could simply gun them down in rapid succession.

However, targeting a single person would just drain his ena quickly.

In the end, the consumption was the same as him summoning two giant bullets every second.

Of course, Nathan knew this fact very well. He could see his ena draining fast. If he kept it up for a minute or two, he would definitely be in trouble even with his massive ena reserve in his body.

However, he managed to test the effectiveness of this technique.

Hence, he shot Alan for another three seconds as his body moved by predicting the direction Alan was going.

The moment the bullets stopped raining down on Alan, he couldn't help but halt his step, realizing Nathan was standing in his way.

'Is he going to use it again? No. I can't let him.' Alan waved both hands, trying to stop Nathan.

Unexpectedly, Nathan didn't plan to use that effective attack to suppress him again. Instead, he changed his approach to the technique he had created previously.

"Orbital System Defense." Nathan muttered.

All of a sudden, a total of 32 spheres appeared out of thin air as he split them into four orbits.

Two spheres of the most outer orbits actually hit and neutralized the blades that Alan sent out.

"!!!" Alan shuddered. The spheres were moving quite fast, so it would be close to impossible for him to reach Nathan without getting hit.

Still, Nathan had to spread his ena to so many spheres, so it would be hard for him to control all of them at once.

That was why Alan waved his sword downwards, releasing a sword wave that ran through the ground. He wanted to overwhelm Nathan with the sheer power of his attack.
