Chapter 2520 Going home joined by my favorite juniors

After seeing off Marika, Misaki and the Itou Sisters, who all had cars picking them up from school, I escorted my girls to their bus stops and walked Komoe alongside Miura-senpai to their house. Once that was done, I took the train with Chii and Hana. My stubborn ass still tried climbing up the bus with Satsuki and the other girls but I got scolded by them instead, saying I should prioritize going home early sometimes. And that's with them looking delighted to see me joining them.

Yep. They're being considerate of my health, and perhaps, the girls not from our school who couldn't get as much time with me during school days.

When I returned to Chii and Hana, they also hounded me about it subtly, even though I could tell how much they wanted to keep me all to themselves.

"Kii, you're impossible sometimes." Chii leaned against me and sighed as the train started moving. Her pout was still there, but her eyes softened as she glanced at me. "You don't have to chase after everyone all the time, you know? Look after yourself too. You may be fine now with how great you're taking care of your body, but who knows when you'll fall ill from overexertion?"

Chii's voice was tinged with concern as her hold on my arm tightened.

Hana, sitting on my other side, nodded in agreement and then clicked her tongue. "Chizuru, this guy won't listen. He'll still keep pushing himself just to see us all. No one is more stubborn than him."

After saying that, the girl stared straight into my eyes as though challenging me to disprove her words.

I rubbed the back of my neck, offering them a sheepish grin as I conceded. "Can't help it, you know? I'm also afraid that you'll stop loving me if I don't see you... Although I decided to change my approach of spreading myself thin, it'll take a while before it truly sets in."
