SSS Ranked Reincarnation: Dark Dragon Legacy

Chapter 416: Meeting Order

After Silva killed Seventh, he returned to where Zareth and the demon lord stood. When they saw him, they knew that he had won the fight.

"That was a hell of a battle. Who was that?" the demon lord asked.

"He is a variant of me, a me from a different timeline that wishes to destroy this world," Silva explained.

"I see. So what he told us was true. Ophelia did make many dark dragons to foster her plans," the demon lord said.

"Who is this 'he' that you all speak about?" Silva asked. He knew that Zareth had given a vague explanation, but even she didn't know exactly who that person was.

"I don't know. All I know is that he came to us, inside Hell, many, many years ago and gave us hints of what was to come, and to know that the dark dragon was going to be our greatest enemy.

I thought we listened. I thought we actually prepared for you, but it seemed I was naive to think that we could actually stop you. What exactly are you?" the demon lord asked.

"Nope, we aren't going to talk about me for now. I have tons and tons of questions to ask you, so I would love it if you could send Zareth to handle your demons or something. You and I have a lot to talk about," Silva said.

The demon lord could understand why Silva would want to talk to her, so she signaled Zareth with her eyes, and Zareth flew off, though she was reluctant.

"We are alone now, so ask me what you wanted to," the demon lord said.

"First, let's start with your name," Silva asked.

"My true name? Not many have heard it, and those that did never lived to tell the tale. But I guess for you, none of that applies.

My name is Azaroth, but just call me Lucy," she said.

"I'll stick with Lucy," Silva said. "I want to know what happened, from the mouth of someone that was there. What really caused the war between the demons and celestials?" Silva asked.

"I see, so that's where your interest lies. But what you heard is indeed the truth. The demons and the celestials had a falling out due to the fact that the demons were monopolizing the World Tree.

Speaking of the World Tree, do the elves still have it?" Lucy asked.

"No. Your stupid demon commander tried to get it. I fought him, and we ended up destroying the core," Silva said.

"You mean to say the World Tree, the very core of this world's existence, is no more?" Lucy asked, shock and panic on her face.

"I didn't say it was no more. I absorbed the World Tree, and Terra, whom you fought, was none other than the spirit of the World Tree.

I know you have a ton of questions—this, that, when, what—but let's place that aside for now. If we begin the talk of many things, it would not end," Silva said.

"What exactly are you?" Lucy asked. He smiled at her but gave no answer. Suddenly, he felt something was off, and then a massive light beam shot from outer space to the ground.

Silva looked at the beam and knew that something was about to happen here.

"Lucy, no matter what happens, don't come for me," Silva said, pushing her back. She stared at the beam of light, confused as well.

"Why would I help you? Without you, I can take this world. You are the last thing standing in my way," she said.

"No, not quite. There are five variants of me that are probably stronger than you and want to destroy the planet," Silva said.

[Order has summoned you. You must accept to go.]

A message came from the system, and when Silva read the contents of the message, he paused. His face changed into a serious one.

He walked to the beam of light without saying another word to Lucy. Immediately, he stepped into the light and vanished.

When he opened his eyes again, he was standing at the edge of a bridge, facing a massive white ball of energy.

"Silva Terron, the dark dragon," Order spoke, his voice booming inside Silva's head.

"What am I doing here?" Silva asked, going straight to the point.

"You shouldn't be here normally, but you have become something different. You have become a demigod, a being that transcends mortality.

There are some rules that exist for beings of your status, and you must learn them," Order said.

"Bro, what? You are the same being that has tried to kill me on numerous occasions. Why would you even want to talk to me now? How do I know you don't just want to kill me?" Silva asked.

"The fact that you are still alive is enough reason. I am Order. My actions are to ensure order, and because of that, even I can't defy the rules that have been set.

One of which is that I can't hold against you the wrongs you did as a mortal. Your slate has been wiped clean the moment you became a demigod.

All the errors and mistakes you made will be wiped away, but that does not mean you will keep walking on Argon like it is nothing.

A demigod can't be on one world for no reason. You are a being that can shake and destroy the world now, and so you can't be there," Order said.

"So what are you saying? Tell me," Silva said.

"You will have to leave Argon entirely. Your presence in that world is against all order, and I can't allow it."

"You have to be joking, right? Leave Argon? Why would you want me to do that? It's not like I have destroyed the planet. I am fixing it," Silva argued.

"Your fixing it is not the problem. But a divine being walking amongst mortals... Soon, your presence will begin to cause cataclysms and more upon Argon, destroying it soon."
