The surrounding lightning seemed to be affected by these circles of light and began to vibrate.

Thousands of lightning bolts continuously shattered and merged, and circles of energy formed around Tang San like black holes, endlessly devouring the lightning. Meanwhile, the Sea God armor on his body grew ever brighter, shining like a small sun.

Crystalline stared in shock at the scene before her, unable to believe that Tang San could actually dispel such a tribulation with his own power. Had he always been able to do this? No, that couldn’t be right. He must have gained this ability after his strength increased.

However, Crystalline also noticed that Tang San's resistance wasn’t without cost. Cracks were gradually appearing on both his armor and the golden Sea God's Trident in his hand, and it was becoming increasingly difficult for him to move under the destructive force of the lightning. Yet, despite this, Tang San’s gaze remained unwavering, just as determined as ever.

The light within the Hell Garden gradually returned to normal as the massive lightning that accumulated earlier was slowly dispelled by Tang San's golden trident and armor.

However, in the high skies outside, the tribulation clouds showed no signs of dispersing, nor did they immediately continue the assault. Instead, the clouds churned as if they were gathering strength.

After so many continuous eruptions, even the plane’s wrath, with each attack growing stronger, now needed a brief respite. Only by accumulating power greater than the last strike could it destroy Tang San!

Tang San finally had a moment to catch his breath.

Tang San took a deep breath, steadying himself. At this moment, the situation was far more severe than just the cracks appearing on the surface of the Sea God’s Armor and Sea God's Trident. The power of the Sea God was borrowed; it was not his true form. He was simply using his divine consciousness to materialize some of the power of his divine artifacts, and the cracks on them meant that his very sea of consciousness had taken damage.

The destructive nature of the Nine Heavens Ten Earths Divine Extinguishing Tribulation was terrifying beyond measure. It was the opposite of existence in the most literal sense, the most primal force of annihilation in the universe.
