Sophia Demiurge

Chapter 189: [Final Quest to Godhood]

Chapter 189: [Final Quest to Godhood]

[3rd person POV]

Paraluman looked at the strange mortal in front of her, nowhere is the supposed bitterness of a high being openly accepting punishment from someone lower than her, which is something that is rather underwhelming than what she initially thought, or maybe the fact that she knew the problems of the world is due to her ignorance, she have no qualms with how the conversation played out, though still, she can't help but muse the attitude of the one called Sophia.

_How curious... she's mad and had a lot of creative ways to punish me harder before and after I become a mortal... but, it was like she was not very opposed to the idea of being controlled, no rather, she was not opposed to any manipulation if the end is beneficial to her kind..._

Paraluman is fascinated, for she have learned of pride as something that can't easily be lowered, something that even in the face of gods is still considered by mortals, it's like their most prized possession, like the dreams they oh-so desires, until Sophia arrived, someone who have a pride so immense, an ego so massive and confidence so concrete that she dared to look at her chest with the intention of conquering them whole without remains, yet also someone who seem to be satisfied to some sex and godhood as compensation by the gods and goddesses behind her miserable life.

Paraluman was deeply intrigued.

Fascinating, mortals are fascinating.

_Maybe if I become one, I can learn how this "pride" really works..._

Paraluman wanted to observe the thoughts of Sophia, but, as if the woman already moved on, on her inner mini-outrage earlier, Sophia is already pondering her next move after the conversation with Paraluman was concluded whilst still ogling the body of the goddess of creation, as if she have already gained permission to grasp it with her hands.

The ego of Sophia is back, not even considering any prospects of defeat.

Paraluman, again wondered how can she maintain this kind of confidence, after all [Perfect Simulation] cannot look on something as heavy as a victory against the one who controls time herself, as strange as that might be considering the Eris is still technically just a mortal, though considered unofficially a demigod, like her brother, the one who controls anti-matter, or "dark magic".

Thinking of this, the goddess of creation can't help to look forward to the end of the time loop, of course, she's hoping that such an end is a new beginning, and not the end of the universe she has created and cherished since her conception.

[Sophia's POV]

_Sigh... I can't think of anything that might outweigh my anger of being manipulated..._

Such is my thoughts, but still, maybe Paraluman have already noticed, I'm not that opposed to the idea that I have become strong because of their initial machinations, first of all, it's just initial, second the ultimate goal is still to protect my nation, and ultimately, the world, so, I figured some divinussy as well as her godhood and letting her live the normal lifespan of a weak mortal can suffice, and everything will come after the time loop, after all, the end of the time loop is "Sophia Demiurge's" failure to stop Eris from resetting the world, which is, shall I saw also one of the main component of my plan, yup, I have to fail, or appear to fail.

Paraluman, of course, heard of that, making her quite shocked, yet she chose to be silent as she said.

"Now then, the mission of this meeting has already been met, I shall give you an official mission for godhood, the first of it's kind and something present in every version of the time loop... and with your very interesting plans, I hope that you can become a goddess, so that I can atone for my sins and for you do anything that you desire without being confined on a heavenly body."

I nodded at that, yet I still asked a question.

"Why is Eris using the time loop to oppose the gods?"

Also, who is the god/goddess of Eris and Loki?

"You... have to ask her, or your father for that matter... as you mortals say 'I am in no position to speak'."

I sighed in disappointment. My father already said Ask your grandma, so I guess I have to ask Eris myself.

That person have a good way to act mysterious, I don't even know why is that system notification from just when I became a hero says something about him dying, he's completely fine, such are my thoughts as I was dragged out of the palace of the giant goddess of creation, Paraluman and went back to my original place, in front of the corpse of Aerendil with the staff of the undead still in my hands, there is not even a second that went to waste in the real world even though it took 2 chapters to wrap up that lore dump, but I don't have time to think about that, for the system notification promised by Paraluman have arrived the moment I reentered my body.

[Notice: The Second [Final Quest to Godhood] of planet Pentateuch has been bestowed upon [Sophia Demiurge].

Mission: The Eradication of the Time Loop.

Reward: Divinity of Space and Time, The Goddess of Creation's allegiance

Good luck and may your almighty god bless you.]

Upon seeing the notification, I was a bit speechless. What do you mean by "Complete eradication of the time loop'? Don't you want to even say my plans in the system notification?

Ah, on the second thought, if the system is induced by the tesseract (credits to [Perfect Simulation]) and the tesseract is technically the "time cube" being controlled by Eris, then I might get endangered prematurely by Eris seeing something so inorganic in her time loop.

Remember, that the main points of the time loop, to name a few of course, is as follows: The world is created as well as the gods and their mortals, their comradery fractured leading to the war of gods and in that war of gods Urduja transmigrated (that old fucker lying to the readers), after that is the first continental war, the first elven undead war, the staff of the undead being stolen and Thanatos being sealed, after which, I was born, became a hero, become a modern calamity, planned the economic crash of Gjallarhorn for the invasion of Urduja also, the instigation of the second elven undead war, the declaration of independence of Urduja... and the list goes on.

There is also one interesting detail about Valentine, the devils, and the vampires, but that should be a story of another time.

In [Perfect Simulation] all of those events played out, that is 99.98 percent of my predictions before the [Genius] unique skill, part of that is also the Godhood mission and of course alongside it's contents, so basically, it can be concluded that the Paraluman in every version of the loop, that's what Paraluman have given to all the "Sophia Demiurge" that attempts to end the time loop and have failed, also, it came to my attention that all Sophia Demiurges before were morons or nothing but liar bitches who can only plan for the demise of others but doesn't have a true intellectual mind.

Yes, I am ashamed to be called the same name as them. How can you not see the flaw in this setup, the moment you learned of it? Come on.

This would be over in the first try if it's me... I hope.

Anyway, there is that, I have to and Paraluman also have to follow these arrangements down to the single letter, organically or artificially, so if Paraluman did not elaborate the first time, she will not elaborate until the final attempt.

After pondering for a moment, I finally retracted my thoughts about the mission for godhood, We can think about that after the battle between Kamatayan and Valentine is over.

For now, let's focus on Aerendil, the most, as of the recent, troublesome enemy I have ever faced, with spells so complicated and a pool so versatile that everything I threw at him will be answered right that next second, the only flaw I have successfully used against him is what they call "Flaw to Perfection" or, as I have made up "The Monalisa Mistake" of the [Unholy Rejection], in this spell "unholy" pertains two things, all things identified by the wielder and anything dark magic, it's the perfect defense for it will singe the dust in the eye of Aerendil if he wanted to, he just have to "Reject" it and identify it as unholy, however, there is one glaring problem that comes with 100% precision, that is, scientifically speaking, anything that has 100% accuracy will not have any margin of error nor any flaws to improve upon.

Well... that's the explanation, but to simplify it, if say, nuclear energy is the "100% accurate and precise limit of energy production of the universe" that means if we discovered a new type of energy, we will never be able to utilize it, thus the Planck energy, the "margin of error" of theoretical physics in terms of this assumption, so that's what I exploited, I made Aerendil focus his perfect defense, something that doesn't allow for error to my dark magic illusions, because of that, he never noticed the strong opposition of his natural defense against my normal illusion, it's very hard to exploit because the [Unholy Rejection] is literally inspired by the divine light of life that swept over the world in our fight, but the illusion persisted, and the result is clear.

But still, I tend to strive for perfection, so I restrict myself by purposely making my spells on the spot so that if ever I can improve them and use them at the next moment.

The thing I regret is that I was not able to use [The Shadow at the Valley of Death] as my mana count was drained two times in quick succession at that time, not allowing for any kind of flashy moves, also it will be detected by [Unholy Rejection].

I wasted no more time to delve into such matter as I tapped the orb of the staff of the undead to the head of Aerendil and the moment that I did, his chest suddenly pulsated, his whole body jumping vertically despite lying on the ground without breath, after which, grey smoke started to emanated from his nose, ears, mouth as well as his pores and several of his other orifices, it was like an alternating current power plant's bellow of harmful gasses, except for the fact that it only created a cloud a feet taller than me as if wanting to go back to the body of Aerendil, and going back, the smoke did, for once again, through his numerous holes, the gas advanced to invade the insides of Aerendil's body.

This occurrence seem to be the "infestation" part of the undeadification process, for the moment the thick plume of smoke reentered the body of Aerendil, the former white extremist's white, pristine skin started to turn grey, even his green priest robe started to have a black and silver hue, as if getting inspiration from me, I'm not going to lie, I miss making people into my undeads, unfortunately, I don't have a chance to use it and I'm very apprehensive to use it more because of the strict order of the events of the time loop.

I mulled over such things until the thick wads of smoke has fully entered the body of Aerendil, making the whole world seemingly turn silent as if in anticipation of the resurrection of the King of Elves, actually, I too, was waiting for him to wake up again, I need him to unseal Thanatos.

[Notice: The Undead [Aerendil]'s soul was personally requested to be with the [Undead Goddess of Nature], thus the [Undead Goddess of Nature] will only allow one command to be given to undead [Aerendil] before he again goes back to his eternal slumber.]

I raised my eyebrow at this. can't they just make an exemption? Hello, I'm their savior, who knows what will happen if I pulled out of this war against the dictator of time... well, actually, I won't do that, so this is fine too, it's not like I'm expecting anyone to help me with my fight against Eris in the future.

After I received the notification above, the eyes of Aerendil suddenly turned open, he looked at me as I smiled and waved my hand a little, well, a little bit of teasing shall increase our bond as a temporary master and subordinate.

Aerendil slowly sat down and then stood up, he is a little bit taller than me, so I looked up at him for a while, after about 5 seconds of silent staring, the king of elves suddenly knelt in front of me, I was kind of startled for I was ready for another 7 chapters of fighting, but this is fine too I guess.

But still, that darn goddess used her backing to deprive Kamatayan of a broken one-two mage combo, imagine all the great things we would do after the time loop...

Anyway, I listened to what Aerendil had to say.

"My mother have designated me as a servant to the divine realm of the god of the undead to atone for my sins as a soul for all eternity, however, she also states her willingness to help you in your endeavor, thus she have permitted me to be your servant for one single command."
