Sophia Demiurge

Chapter 187: In the Beginning Part 1

Chapter 187: In the Beginning Part 1

[3rd Person POV]

If she's to be honest, Paraluman would have never imagined that she, the goddess of creation, had to drag a mortal from Pentateuch to her abode. After all, she considers herself a goddess, even though in her subconscious, she knew that she had been reduced to a cosmic power cell.

However, what is more surprising is what she is seeing right now.

A mortal, looking at a part of herself wherein, on average, male mortals finds attractive towards the opposite sex with eyes as if her mammary glands, explicitly known as breasts are already the mortal's possession, Paraluman who have never looked into like that even by her male children that have a very vague boundaries about sibling relationships found the mortal rather intriguing.

Though of course, at a time like this, she doesn't have the time nor the will to explore the peculiarities of mortality that she has just whimsically found fascinating.

Ignoring the little "Woah..." that is full of fascination and dried up throat for some reason from the one called Sophia Demiurge, the goddess of creation made a polite bow, or made a bow as polite as her cosmic level pride allowed.

"Hello there little one, I believe I was already introduced by your god, or father as he wanted to call himself, but still, I am compelled to introduce myself, I am Paraluman, the mother goddess of the universe, the one who created one of the few terrestrial universes in the entire [###]."

[Sophia's POV]

For a moment, I was not able to peel my eyes from the biblical beauty in front of me, and truth be told, I am not prepared for this kind of glam, and only when I heard her introduction did I snap out of it.

_Damn, I was distracted by the flesh of corruption that leads men astray... and I'm a woman!_

I don't know if she can read my mind, and I don't care, I mean, when she bowed, why didn't it jiggle!? No, actually, why are those mountains not floating around!? We're in space, there's no gravity! How unscientific!

"Mortal Sophia, I suggest you don't think such things during these stout times. These breasts of mine have their own... magnetic field as you know it, they have gravity."

My eyes widened. How innocent!

"Oh...? Make them jigg- oh, I'm sorry for my rudeness, indeed I am Sophia Demiurge, and yes, my father has already informed me of your desire to speak with me..."

But she didn't warn me of such planetary breasts... is what I wanted to say, but because of my great presence of mind and my loyalty to my wives... no, forget about loyalty, but anyway, I can't let the goddess of creation catch me lacking, that would be real embarrassing.

"It's a good thing that you can adjust your mental state well. Also, do you want me to adjust my way of speaking to that of your Earthen generation?"

Hell no, you would sound stupid.

"There is no need, I can understand you just fine, Goddess Paraluman."

Such is my reply, and Paraluman, the goddess of creation, paused for a moment as if to again lament why I would bother speaking through my mouth if she can read my mind, well, that's like asking why I would kiss girls if I can't make them pregnant, right?

"I see, then, I would like for us to start as soon as possible, and, in summary, I am here before you to offer everything I can give for you to save my planet and ultimately my universe from imminent destruction caused by the repeated time loop induced by my own mistake."

...Everything?

My eyes finally turned serious, no, well, of course I know that the world will end if I do not stop this because of the [Perfect Simulation] of [Genius] and because I can predict something like that even way before my brain got upgraded further, but... the universe? I already have speculations that this might implicate the whole cosmos, maybe blasting off the Orion arm all over the place because, you know, Time is a pretty energy-consuming particle.

Who would have thought that time is so powerful that the whole universe needed to give it Planck energy just for it to be controlled?

"What do you mean... the universe?"

I asked, and, because Paraluman already knew what I was thinking, she already has an answer.

"Yes, the universe, and as you have correctly deduced, time, the strongest particle and the closest one to being "absolute" is unbelievably energy consuming to control, needing even me as it's energy source just so that the gods of Pentateuch can have one final push to thwart the plan of the Dictator of Time that we can't do anything about because of my own restrictions towards the gods that I am already too powerless to stop."

Paraluman seems regretful of her decision, probably because of something my father said to convince her to give me the unique skill [Genius], thus the ridiculous offer that I would never decline, however, I do have one question for her.

"Well, if you give me such tempting propositions... no, even if you didn't give me anything, I will still do it because of my undeads, as you know this world, no, this universe being destroyed will get rid of their home..."

I paused a little; nowhere is the dryness of my throat from my slip-up earlier can be heard, rather a serious and grave tone replaced it.

After a while of pause to compose myself, I posed a question.

"However, there is one thing I want to know: how did all of this even start? Well, I have a prime suspect why Eris hates the world and the Undeads from the bottom of her guts, but how is the mess with the time loop started before it spiraled to the point where the mother goddess of creation have to implore a mortal by offering me all of what she have so I can save her universe?"

That is the question that even my [Perfect Simulation] can't answer, well, technically it can, but with how heavy it is, the scene is too short even with all my brain power to see and articulate properly, so I have to ask the person who have the first hand experience, and I am sure the one that caused all of this as evident to her always self blaming attitude knew how did it happened, one is to learn what is the lore behind my future fight is, as it's hard to give it your all in a universe staking fight with only planetary udders and a chance to become a goddess, I have to know the origin behind all this.

Also, I'm curious of this world's lore because even in the mythology of the nations established by gods like mine, there is no such a thing like "In the beginning there was nothing yadda yaddo", just straight up "The god of undeads appointed him as his prophet..." and all that, and like I said earlier, Paraluman already knew of this, however, even then, it was as if my question struck a chord in her heart, in a display I guess is rare for the goddess of creation, Paraluman pursed her lips, as if ashamed of what she was about to say.

Which is strange because she is not ashamed to offer her body to a mortal.

"I... as you speculated, am truly ashamed of this matter, not only because it's my fault but because I have been running from the fact it's my fault all this time... however, this time, I shall fully face this..."

Siginarugan paused, and then with a deep breath that finally let those fleshy mountains bounce a little bit, she started speaking.

"It all started from the day I was born... like many creators of several different universes, that doesn't know when, why or how we came to be, we only have one goal, an instinctive and primal one, that is to create, at that time, we... well, for a more shrinked term, I am unconscious, we were like foolish beasts with immense power, I don't know what I'm doing, I don't care about what I am doing either, I just knew that with a snap of my fingers, this universe was created alongside a logic of thought that I instantly comprehended, I saw matters and antimatter destroying each other, for me, they were nothing but fleeting nothingness, for I was ordered by my instincts to expand the universe I have created... indeed... unlike what you humans from Earth knew, under normal circumstances, the universe will never end..."

"Going back, the future I see is always the same, black holes, white holes, wormholes, planets that has peculiar forms, some as soft as a cloud, some darker that obsidian itself, billion upon billions of planets, I saw and observed that I have grown bored of them, not until, in a peculiar coincidence, one planet grew what earthen humans call "bacteria" in a blue planet devoid of any horizontally whiplashing rains of glass or diamond rendering atmospheric pressure... it was... peaceful... of course in a planetary sense, it has a large planet that covers it from meteors at the back and a small planet that protects it from the sun flares at the front... It's interesting, because for the 10 billion years of this boring universe's existence, something peculiar called "life" has been created by a very precise cosmic positioning... with that, the first spark of consciousness within me has started."

"From the middle of the light of creation, for you, known as the Cosmic Microwave Background, I moved towards this peculiar planet and watch it grow... however, my omnipresence was distracting me, making me see all that what will happen to the very first planet I found fascinating, thus I turned it off..."

Paraluman paused as if to reminisce about a very distant past.

"Maybe... that's the very start of my descend to this state of patheticnes... but anyway, in the future of that young planet, I saw how humans will eventually come to be... greed... corruption and cancerous development, but myself, even though still unconscious, wanted to watch how are these small creatures called "humans" that have evolved from the "monkeys" that emerged from the planet at some point in time. Even though in the future I saw, I witnessed how their greed have destroyed the very planet that they have emerged in, I still want to see if somehow, someway, they can avoid such a future, that they will be using their resources more responsibly, and yet, when I saw the great smog of London, and how the whole planet persisted in using fossil fuels as all of you calls it, I gave up on them and started to wander around aimlessly in the Orion arm... not knowing what to do with the kindled flame of curiosity within me... of course, all of this are just observations when I finally was able to wake up in my trance a few hundreds of years ago, at that time, I don't know why am I still lingering in the region where your previous solar system was, I thought that... I was just continuing with my aimless creation again."

"However, with reasons I cannot comprehend, but as my speculation suggests, because of that little spark of curiosity and the indignance of only being able to see one peculiar planet, my "brain" suddenly plunged me up my muddled consciousness, making me be able to think... at that time, I have a lot of questions, not because of me suddenly "waking up" or why was I born, no, for me, those questions are irrelevant, instead things like "why are they destroying their planet?" "why won't they change?" or "why can't they change their destiny?", those kind of things flooded my mind, alongside those uncontrollable and tumultuous questions that me, who have experienced emotions and free will for the first time easily became unbearable, and in an impulse, with my power to create everything from scratch, I have conjured a carbon copy of the the said star system..."

"The third planet from the sun, a big planet at the back and a small planet in front, has water and all that, yet still, I am not satisfied."

"Not knowing the reason why did the living organisms of planet earth have come to destroy themselves besides having limited source of energy, I made the planet, later will be called "Pentateuch" be able to use mana, something that is still theoretical on earth even until now, best known as Planck energy, I know you are familiar with this as you are the first physicist to have been able to create a device that can harness this power, from a lab of a backward country nonetheless."

"In any case, unlike the other solar system that randomly spawned and was just being observed by me, I treated this one with gentle care, I have the habitable planet a very strong ozone layer, an atmosphere that even nuclear bombs cannot permanently destroy and many more that can now only be attributed as favoritism... and now that I think about it, I can also do all that to Earth, yet because I am basically a child at that time, loves to experiment and discard things I have lost interest in, I did not."

Paraluman sighed again, expressing her self-reflection and realizing all the mistakes she had made as she recounted this kind of story.

"Going back... on this planet, I also experimented on the things the little microorganisms, humans or not, have in common, something commonly known as... Family."
