Chapter 533: Final Battle In The Multi Realm 9: Death Of Typhon

Typhon's many heads recoiled in unison.

****What are you going to do?!**** He shrieked, his voice a chorus of terror.

Michael merely smirked, a flicker of amusement in his eyes. ""What else… Wait.""

With a subtle gesture, an unseen force lifted Jennifer from her stunned position. She floated gently across the ravaged landscape, coming to rest beside Michael. He placed her down with a care that belied the destruction surrounding them.

"Micky?" she whispered, her voice barely audible, still grappling with the impossible reality of her childhood friend standing before her with such power.

""You and Drakon will be going back to Amerisa,"" Michael stated, his gaze firm. ""You've been gone for a month and a week now.""

"Uh? This… It has only been one hour and some minutes," Jennifer protested, confusion etched on her face.

""Time zones differ,"" Michael explained dismissively, turning his attention to Typhon, who remained fixated on the reunion with the rocks.

""Go with Drakon… And Zeus, your realm has been rebuilt. You can return. The titans will remain with you… I know you wish to spend time with your mother."" He addressed Zeus, who stood a short distance away, his expression a mixture of awe and gratitude.

Zeus glanced at the remaining gods and goddesses, their faces mirroring his own astonishment, before turning back to Michael.

"We are grateful, Supreme King, but what about Typhon?" he inquired, his brow furrowed with concern.

""Leave this insignificant pest to me,"" Michael replied, his tone nonchalant.

Typhon grimaced, his numerous eyes darting between them, fury simmering beneath his fear. They spoke as if he were no more than an insect.

"Okay, Supreme King." Zeus nodded his understanding and, with a final look at Michael, he vanished from the desolate realm. One by one, the other gods and goddesses bowed their heads in deference to Michael before disappearing in flashes of light.

"I will be waiting for you in Amerisa, for my ice cream!" Nemesis called out, her voice echoing slightly before she too vanished.

Jennifer watched the exodus of the divine beings, then turned to Michael, her gaze searching.

"We all miss you, so please come back when you're done here."

Michael offered a small nod, and a shimmering gateway materialized behind her, swirling with an otherworldly energy.

"We will be waiting, Partner!" Drakon added, his voice filled with anticipation.

A genuine smile touched Michael's lips as Jennifer and Drakon turned towards the portal. They paused, their eyes meeting his for a final moment, before stepping through and disappearing. The gateway shimmered once more and then vanished.

Michael turned to his lords, and Darren, Aaron, and Leo.

"Ruler!"

The four exclaimed in unison, their voices resonating with respect.

""I see these fellows gave you quite a struggle.""

Michael observed, his eyes scanning the minor injuries they had sustained.

"It is nothing, Ruler," Shenras assured him with a confident smile.

"I can't believe I've met two individuals stronger than myself…" Darren mused, a hint of disbelief in his voice. "I am already at my peak. I cannot fathom reaching your strength… But perhaps, we could spar sometime?"

Michael raised an eyebrow, a flicker of amusement dancing in his eyes. With a silent wave of his hand, the very sun vanished, plunging the ravaged landscape into absolute darkness. Less than five seconds later, the sun blazed back into existence, bathing the scene in its golden light.

The group exchanged bewildered glances before turning back to Michael.

"I will pass."

Darren conceded quickly, a sheepish grin spreading across his face.

""Wise decision,"" Michael chuckled, then turned his attention back to the still-bound Typhon.

""Oh… I thought you might try to escape?"" he asked with a pointed smirk.

Typhon's hundred heads craned downwards, his serpentine bodies shifting restlessly against the earth, his myriad eyes burning with impotent rage.

""Quiet now… You remain alive only because I wish you to witness this.""

Michael raised his hand, and four intricate magic runes began to form in the air before him, glowing with potent energy.

""What do you say to becoming the Pillars of the realms?"" he asked, his gaze sweeping over Leo, Darren, and Aaron.

The three exchanged a silent look, a spark of understanding passing between them, before turning back to Michael.

"If you trust us with such a responsibility, we accept," Leo declared, his voice resolute.

"Yes," Aaron echoed, nodding firmly. Darren simply offered a curt nod of agreement.

Michael smiled, a hint of pride in his eyes. He channeled a portion of his immense power into the glowing runes, then directed three of them towards Darren, Aaron, and Leo. The runes touched their foreheads and dissolved, their energy flowing into the three.

""Congratulations. You three are now Pillars of the six realms,"" Michael announced, his smile widening.

"I can feel my powers surging!" Aaron exclaimed in astonishment, sensing a significant increase in his Sid energy.

"The same here," Leo confirmed, his eyes gleaming with newfound power.

"Would I be able to defeat you now?" Darren couldn't resist asking, a hopeful glint in his eyes.

""Not even remotely close,"" Michael replied with a good-natured smile.

He waved his hand again, and the numerous swords around Typhon began to glow. They merged into a single, magnificent blade, which then flew towards Michael, hovering beside the remaining rune.

"What about him?" Aaron asked, gesturing towards the struggling Dragon.

"No, what about the fourth one?" Leo countered, pointing to the last rune still floating beside Michael.

""This belongs to Drakon. He will be the fourth Pillar.""

The three nodded in understanding as Michael continued, his voice taking on a darker edge.

""And Typhon? What better way for him to meet his end than at the hands of his own family?""

"....…"

****…..!?****

Michael's words hung in the air, stunning not only his own lords but also Typhon, whose many faces contorted in disbelief and dawning horror.

""Rise!""

Michael commanded, his voice resonating with power.

BOOM!!

Dark smoke billowed from Gaea's corpse, and in less than five heartbeats, the Earth Mother stood before Michael and the bewildered group. She was no longer broken and defeated, but resplendent in a suit of gleaming golden armor.

****Mother?!**** Typhon's collective voice was a choked whisper of disbelief.

"Ruler!" Gaea declared, her voice strong and clear as she knelt before Michael, her head bowed in absolute fealty.

****You!!!****

Typhon roared, his fury reaching a fever pitch. He thrashed against his bonds, desperate to break free.

****I will kill you!!****

""Oh? You vowed to slaughter my family and obliterate my world. Now, I am simply returning the favor,"" Michael said, his tone devoid of emotion.

""Dying by your mother's hand isn't such a terrible fate, is it?""

He turned to Gaea, his gaze unwavering. ""Get on with it. Show no restraint."" He then channeled more of his power into her, bolstering her already formidable strength.

""No, let us make this truly memorable!"" With another wave of his hand, the figures of Hades, Poseidon, Ares, and Persephone materialized beside Gaea, their expressions grimly determined.

""Now this is fitting… All of you, one combined attack. Hold nothing back.""

****No! Mum, don't!**** Typhon's desperate cries echoed across the ravaged landscape.

Gaea and the four Olympians behind her raised their weapons – a gleaming scythe, a trident crackling with oceanic energy, a blood-soaked spear, and a sword radiating dark power – above their heads, channeling all their divine energies into a single, devastating assault.

Crescent blades of pure energy coalesced around their weapons, shimmering with lethal intent.

Typhon's myriad eyes widened in utter horror as the five figures unleashed their combined might.

WHOOSH!!!

The crescent energy blades hurtled towards him in perfect unison.

****NOOOOOO!!!!****

BOOOOOM!!!

The combined attacks slammed into Typhon with cataclysmic force, the explosion of divine energy instantly vaporizing the monstrous dragon, leaving nothing but swirling dust in its wake.

"You are one wicked bastard!" Darren exclaimed, a mixture of shock and amusement in his voice.

""He earned it."" Michael replied, his gaze steady. He turned to the three.

""Finally, after countless battles, hardships, and losses on our part, our worlds are safe."" A genuine smile finally graced his lips.

Whizzzd!!

The group turned as a shimmering portal of golden light materialized behind them.

""It is time for you to return to your families. Cherish your lives, spend time with your loved ones… And leave any future threats to me.""

The three lords stared at him for a long moment, a silent understanding passing between them.

Leo finally broke the silence. "If you ever need our aid, simply call upon us… We will do everything in our power to assist you."

Michael smiled warmly and gestured towards the gateway.

Darren stepped forward and extended his hand. Michael clasped it firmly, nodding his respect.

"We will meet again," Darren said, a confident grin on his face, he walked to the gateway and entered. Aaron and Leo offered Michael respectful nods before following Darren into the shimmering gateway.

Michael watched with his loyal blades and commanders as the three figures disappeared.

""Alright, you guys."" he said, taking the remaining rune.

Michael turned towards the gateway, while Destroyers shrunk to a manageable size, and landed comfortably on his shoulder, while Reaper followed silently behind him.

""You should see to the remnants of the battle."" He instructed Havoc, Shenras, Campe, and Charon, and the gods, before stepping into the golden portal.

The group watched as the gateway spun for a few moments, its golden light fading, before it vanished completely, leaving the ravaged realm once more.
