As Rosvisser had said, the children were indeed well-behaved and got along wonderfully with Vida and Cecilia.

But as the conversation went on, Aurora suddenly realized that during this Melkvey family roundtable, two people had quietly disappeared at some point.

The pink fluff looked around in all directions, but saw no sign of those two, so she asked:

“Where did Daddy and Mommy go?”

The others glanced around too, and likewise didn’t see Leon or Rosvisser.

“Yeah, they were just here chatting—how’d they vanish the moment we turned our heads?”

Cecilia was still cradling Aurora in her lap. She had been so focused on stroking her that she hadn’t even noticed her daughter and son-in-law had slipped away.

Seeing this, Moon’s eyes lit up.

“Since Dad and Mom are gone, does that mean we can hold the summoning ritual now?”

Isha immediately got flustered and waved her hands.

“No, no, no, they should still be at home, it’s just…”

“They probably had something come up and left without telling us,” she said, trying to cover.

Muse blinked innocently. “Something came up? What kind of something, Aunt?”

“Uhhh…”

Isha scratched at the corner of her forehead awkwardly.

“Probably something to do with the origin of life, birth of the universe… hahaha~~”
