They were just killed within a second by the finger technique of Wang Ming. Suddenly 8 soul lamps shattered in the Management Hall of the Deva Mara Sect. As news of Gou Shu's death arrived to Grand Elder Gou Zu he became extremely furious.

After killing the group Wang Ming used the his soul technique to devour their souls. Then he took their storage bags and emptied them all pouring every useful items in his own storage bag and then burning them all to dust. He then quickly left for the Nether Thunder Mountainous Ridge.

It took him five days to enter the outer periphery of Nether Thunder Mountainous Ridge. 

"Heavenly Yin Qi of the best grade! Shall I start practising the Divine Netherworld Ascension Sutra? Or should I continue the Xue Wan Ming Sutra? Let's go on with the Xue Wan Ming Sutra and see what happens." Saying this Wang Ming delved deeper into the forbidden ground. After continous flying for almost two hours he reached the core area. Finding a mountain with a flat peak he decided to sit on top of it and started cultivating again.

Thunderstorm was raging continuously since it was the core area with frequent lightning bolts rampaging around him.
