Just as she moved to step aside, a blurry figure blocked her path.

Recognizing the familiar men’s shoes, Lin Zhiyi frowned and tried to walk past him, but someone grabbed her umbrella.

She tugged at it a couple of times and then a gust of wind blew her umbrella away.

“My umbrella! What exactly are you trying to do?”

“Our conversation doesn’t seem to be over yet.”

Gong Chen’s voice was deep, and even the raging storm couldn’t suppress his intimidating presence.

Lin Zhiyi shivered involuntarily as the wind and rain pelted her exposed skin, causing goosebumps to form.

She couldn’t help but tighten the men’s jacket around her.

Under the black umbrella, those dark eyes gained a hint of coldness. In the next second, Lin Zhiyi’s jacket was stripped off her.

Immediately, Gong Chen threw it away.

Lin Zhiyi was stunned, then glared at him, “Uncle, have you lost your mind? That’s big brother’s jacket!”

“Get in the car.”

Some passersby with umbrellas laughed and whistled at her.

Lin Zhiyi wrapped her arms around her shoulders and walked towards the school.

Suddenly, she was lifted off the ground and hoisted onto Gong Chen’s shoulder.

“Let go!”

“We’re very close to your school. I can’t guarantee your classmates won’t see you.” He held an umbrella in one hand and supported Lin Zhiyi’s body with the other, not even breathless.

“You…”

Lin Zhiyi got into the car feeling utterly humiliated, then turned her head away from Gong Chen.

At that moment, a piece of clothing was thrown over her face.

“Put it on,” Gong Chen commanded.

Lin Zhiyi didn’t move, clearly unwilling.

Gong Chen’s expression turned icy, “What? You can wear Gong Yan’s clothes, but you can’t wear mine?”

“I’ll put it on for you,” Gong Chen lifted his hand.
