Chapter 816: Chapter 816: Abigail, you can use me however you want

Abigail felt as though she had been away for a long time, but when she woke up, she realized she was still in the car.

The car had just slowly entered Rose Valley, and she looked around in a daze, feeling as if she was waking from another lifetime, when Brandon Piers, sitting beside her, noticed her confused state and rubbed her head with his large hand, “What’s wrong? Are you feeling unwell somewhere?”

Abigail shook her head, her eyes fixated on Brandon Piers.

Feeling strangely observed, Brandon Piers touched his own face and asked, “Is there something wrong with me?”

Looking at the familiar handsome face before her, Abigail lowered her head and buried it in the man’s chest, murmuring into his chest, “I just had a dream.”

“Oh, what dream?” Brandon Piers embraced her, feeling that since waking up, Abigail’s emotions were off.

“I dreamt of Hayden Bell.” As Abigail lay on Brandon Piers’ chest, she wanted to share her dream with him, but after uttering the first sentence, she didn’t know how to tell the rest of the story, or perhaps she didn’t quite believe it was just a dream – just a story.

It was too real, the sunshine there, the feeling of that era, even Hayden Bell, and everything that happened was so real…

Brandon Piers waited for a long time without hearing Abigail continue to speak; he lowered his head to look at her and saw her looking bewildered as if she still hadn’t fully woken up. He couldn’t help but lower his head and gently peck her smooth forehead, “Are you still feeling sleepy?”

Abigail hummed softly, stretching out her arms to tightly embrace Brandon Piers’ waist.

She actually felt torn; while with Hayden Bell, she worried that she might never see Brandon Piers again, but when she woke up to find it was a dream, she felt a pang of sorrow. If she could, she really wished it wasn’t a dream, but a parallel world she didn’t know about, where Hayden Bell managed to avoid all the past tragedies and fell in love with Clara Smith early on, and even Minnie Swift heeded her advice and did not marry off to Gills City.

In a place she didn’t know, their stories continued as usual, but each person she loved got a better ending.

“What about your dream of Hayden Bell?” Seeing that Abigail still hadn’t answered his question and that her mood was still unusual, Brandon Piers gently nudged her cheek with his chin and asked softly.

Only then did Abigail start to open up, telling Brandon Piers about everything that happened in her dream, how she took the stage and how she saved Hayden Bell, even helping him to pursue Clara Smith afterwards.

She recounted in detail, wishing to tell Brandon Piers every little intricacy of her dream.
