Reborn As A Ghost: Time To Build My Undead Army!

As Nyx managed to fool the monster and strike it down by sneakily turning into two giant, spectral spears and managing to not only rescue her friends, but also secure the two other girls trapped inside the ghostly manor, a gigantic claw emerged from the skies, breaking them open.

"STOOOP!"

As this happened, the frustrated, furious scream of the Nightmare Demon echoed through the entire Nightmare Realm, as he began tearing through space, emerging amidst the cracks. Nyx immediately recognized its face and appearance.

"It's you!"

She quickly grabbed the darkness cocoon containing the two girls and also the bubble, rushing away a second before the Nightmare Demon's giant hands were to reach her.

CRAAASH!

His claws hit the manor, tearing it open into pieces, he was unable to secure the sealed girls within the cocoon of darkness, his fury was palpable in his fiery red eyes.

"DAMMIT!"

As he roared, Fran, Emily, and Alma gasped in disbelief at what they were seeing, the gigantic Nightmare Demon was certainly something right out of their worst nightmares too.

"Wait, it wasn't this big before!" Nyx said. "How did it get so enormous?! I swear it was around my own size when I'm not a dragon! H-How is he so huge?!"

"GRRRHHH…!"

The Nightmare Demon began to rapidly crawl towards the girl, walking with all four of his limbs as if he were some strange, bizarre insect, despite being shaped as mostly a human child with demon-like features.

"YOU WILL GIVE THEM BACK TO ME!"

As he roared angrily, he opened his jaws, devouring something within the ruins of the manor, a huge green and blue colored sphere, the crystallization of a Nightmare Monster, a core they dropped.

"CRUNCH, CRUNCH, CRUNCH…! EHEHEHE…!"

As he munched on the core, he smiled while giggling evilly, green flames started coming out of his nose and mouth as he breathed. Nyx realized what it had done, making her even more surprised.

"Surprised?! I am huge right?! This is MY Nightmare Realm after all! Whatever I want becomes real, and it is the rule that everyone must follow too! All the adults became children, and I became an adult instead! I AM BIG AND STRONG! KAHAHAHAH!"

Overflowing with the powers of the Nightmare Monster he had accidentally created, green flames manifested, creating dozens of fireballs as he fired them at Nyx.

"These Green Corrosion Flames were the only thing that could hurt you, right?! Good thing I got them now! BURN TO DEATH, FUCKING BRAT!"

With a furious and wild scream, dozens of green fireballs loomed above Nyx, from every angle! She grasped the girls in her hands and opened her shadows, placing them inside and then.

BOOOM! BOOOM! BOOOM! BOOOM! BOOOM!

Countless green corrosion flame explosions spread everywhere, causing tremendous havoc and destruction, burning the ground and creating hundreds of craters.

"Where did she go?!"

The Nightmare Demon looked around annoyedly, he noticed Nyx had somehow slipped off his grasp and had gone somewhere else entirely! He looked around angrily, suddenly finding out something.

"Ah!"

He quickly stepped back a second before a several draconic jaws were to emerge from the ground, although one of them managed to bite one of his legs!

"W-What the hell is this?!"

The Nightmare Demon was flabbergasted, they were dozens of draconic heads with long necks made out of spectral shadows that emerged from below.

He noticed Nyx's corpse wasn't anywhere else either, she had escaped again somehow!

"How did she do that?!"

As he thought about that for a second, het bombarded the head biting his leg with his green flames, pulverizing it and the other heads until nothing remained.

BOOOM! BOOOM! BOOOM! BOOOM!

"HAH! You'll need more than that if you're planning on actually harming me!"

The Nightmare Demon smiled; he had accumulated enough energy from the girls he kidnaped inside his Nightmare Realm to have plenty of power in reserve for now.

Above all else, within his own Nightmare Realm, he could bend the laws of physics to a small extent, giving himself a great advantage.

As long as they worked around his own Nightmare Authority of Childhood, he could manipulate reality within the Nightmare Realm.

This is how he turned the girls into children, and how he transformed his small, weak body into that of a giant of over two hundred meters of height.

And also why Nyx wasn't affected! She was already a child, so his Authority couldn't turn her into a child either.

And turning her into an adult or a giant would've only made her stronger, he couldn't allow that either!

Therefore, among all participants, Nyx was the only one unaffected by everything, becoming pain in the ass to deal with.

Now, this battle would decide it all!

"WHERE ARE YOU?!"

With a furious scream, he made the earth beneath him erupt, dozens of volcanoes with green corrosion flames materialized around him, releasing their flames everywhere.

BOOOM! BOOOM! BOOOM! BOOOM!

RUMBLE!

The ground shook and countless cracks spread everywhere, lava started coming out from the ground, forcing Nyx to appear.

She had turned into a ghostly form and was hiding underground, but the Nightmare Demon wasn't stupid to not guess that.

"THERE YOU AREEEEEE!"

With a creepy smile from ear to ear, the monstrous demonic nightmare laughed, rushing forward and swinwing his gigantic claws at Nyx.

Nyx furrowed her white eyebrows, as she quickly released a deadly dragon breath of flames of Demise against him!

She took a gamble, letting him get as close as possible.

And then…

Released it at almost point blank!

"UGH?!

BOOOMMM!!!

Despite his body becoming gigantic and now several hundred times as durable as before, the Nightmare Demon felt utter agony as his skin burned and his entire face distorted in horror.

"UUUGGGYYEEEEEHHHHH! NUUUUOOOOGHHH!"

He screamed in agony, the Flames of Demise so strong and destructive his skin was being peeled off and his clothes burned into ashes.

His childish appearance changed and grew twisted as he burned, becoming lanky, long-limbed, and with an even more horrifying long face with giant red eyes.

"He survived that?!"

Nyx's eyes widened, noticing the Nightmare Demon's disfigured body over the ground, slowly standing up, glaring at her with crazed anger…

"KILL…! I'M GOING TO KILL YOU! KILL! KILL! KILL!

Like a rabid monkey, he leaped towards Nyx while covered with green corrosion flames.
