Chen Siyu’s delicate fingers gently peeled away the orange skin, and she meticulously picked off the white, stringy pith until the whole orange was free of any white strands.

Bai Yuxia teased, “Isn’t that a bit too clean?”

Chen Siyu replied, “I like to pick them clean of any impurities before I start eating the orange.”

Her hands didn’t stop moving as she finished peeling the orange and arranged the segments neatly on a white paper napkin, making the plump orange flesh stand out even more.

Xue Yuantong, Bai Yuxia, and Jiang Ning all watched her peel the orange. It was quite a stress reliever, to be honest.

Chen Siyu’s technique was impeccable, and Jiang Ning found it quite comfortable to watch.

After a good while, Chen Siyu sighed in relief, “Finally, it’s all clean.”

Xue Yuantong also breathed a sigh of relief as if she had just finished watching a TV program.

Chen Siyu’s hands brushed over the pile of orange peels as she announced, “I’m going to start eating now.”

In the meantime, she grabbed the trash bag hanging from the edge of her desk; many students found it bothersome to throw away trash frequently and preferred to keep a personal trash bag, which they would dispose of in the classroom’s trashcan when full.
