Xue Yuantong ran to a vegetable stall, noticed the vegetables weren’t very fresh, and didn’t buy any.

While buying vegetables, Chuchu’s mother passed by on her electric scooter. Xue Yuantong called out, and Xue Chuchu got off the bike.

“Chuchu, come have dinner at our place tonight, come on, and help me pick vegetables.”

Xue Chuchu agreed with a nod and then smiled and greeted Jiang Ning.

Xue Yuantong ran to another vegetable stall, bought a lettuce, and stopped at an old man’s fish stall.

She rarely bought fish because Jiang Ning was great at fishing. It was nice to just go fishing with him if she wanted to eat fish.

But it was getting dark today, and obviously, there was no time for that.
