Chapter 71 - 71 71 The Black Sheep
Chapter 71: Chapter 71 The Black Sheep Chapter 71: Chapter 71 The Black Sheep “Lu Siyuan, what are you doing?” Li Qiumei immediately rushed over and grabbed the furious Lu Siyuan.
She had long sensed that something was off about the relationship between these two students, and sure enough, they dared to pull such a stunt, truly embarrassing her. In her many years of teaching, she had never encountered such difficult students.
Lu Siyuan shoved Li Qiumei away, determined to knock out a few of Sun He’s teeth to teach him the consequences of spouting nonsense.
“Fighting is not the fundamental solution to problems; the wise are skilled at remaining calm,” said He Nan coldly, who had been silent until then. His face showed no extra emotion, but his words carried profound authority.
Li Yue hadn’t expected He Nan to advise Lu Siyuan and gave him a curious look, but said nothing.
The vice principal also glanced at He Nan, feeling somewhat uneasy. This man had come with Li Yue, and though his identity wasn’t clear, the vice principal intuited that he was a person of great importance.
Lu Siyuan met He Nan’s gaze and paused, his temper immediately simmering down. He Nan was right; the more impulsive he was now, the more difficult it would be to clear things up.
At that moment, the school principal was nearly fuming with rage. In front of outsiders, the school’s face had been utterly lost.
These mere teenagers, instead of studying properly, were engaged in such vulgar antics, damaging the reputation of their school. He decided to expel both of them immediately.
“Ms. Li, go call their parents over.”
“I’m on it.”
Li Qiumei had been waiting for just that directive.
“Wait.”
Shen Mianmian, who had been keeping her head down, suddenly looked up and called out to Li Qiumei.
“Wait for what?” Li Qiumei turned and glared at her, “For committing such an act, bringing shame to the school, expulsion is letting you off lightly.”
Shen Mianmian hadn’t expected that boy would dare to say such things. She knew that the more the situation was hard to explain, the more one needed to remain calm.
Lu Siyuan was young and not as experienced as her, unable to keep his composure, but she had to stay clear-headed. She took a deep breath, turned to the principal, and questioned him like a little adult.
“Shouldn’t we confirm Sun He’s claim with the people actually involved?”
“Confirm what?” Li Qiumei said scornfully, “So many have seen it, who else needs to confirm?”
“He saw it, so it’s true? He wasn’t the only one in the bathroom,” retorted Shen Mianmian, her gaze towards Li Qiumei growing colder. She had originally thought that Li Qiumei merely disliked underperforming students, so she was stricter with her, but now it seemed it was not just that.
Li Qiumei was petty-minded and held grudges. Offend her once, and she would remember it for a long time, seizing every opportunity to ruthlessly trample someone down, lacking the morality that a teacher should possess.
“Stubborn girl,” Li Qiumei pointed toward Du Xiaohui and the others, “Tell me, did you all not see it too?”
“…”
Du Xiaohui pursed his lips and remained silent, and the other two involved in the fight also said nothing.
They admitted to fighting, but they couldn’t bring themselves to make such baseless accusations, especially since it wasn’t just them present at the time.
Seeing their reaction, Sun He became anxious, “They were kissing, we all saw it.”
“Are you spewing nonsense again?”
Lu Siyuan’s face turned red with the effort of holding himself back. He genuinely wanted to hit someone but remembered He Nan’s words and restrained himself, “I was just going to the bathroom…”
Li Qiumei cut him off directly, not giving him a chance to defend himself, “Principal, this is corrupting the school’s atmosphere; the severity isn’t ordinary. Students like these are a scourge and must be expelled. Otherwise, if everyone follows their example, who would be in the right mind to study properly?”
What do you think?
