RE: Perverted Sugar Daddy System

Chapter 288: All The Same

Rather than just ridicule his strength, I added insult to injury, and then gulped internally.

Truly, I was really burning every bridge.

Leaving aside whether Leon was weaker than his guards, watching the Psion gush out of him earlier and now wrap around his body like some magnetic force, I couldn't help but feel jealous. The way he controlled Psion even after it left his body was ridiculous. Still, I also observed and confirmed something important.

I had been right about his four guards.

From Carmel to Hailey, not a single one of Leon's four guards released Psion or even seemed to have any.

There was a thrum of energy around them when they acted, sure, but that was just the basic conversion and interaction of kinetic and potential energy.

There was definitely something special added to the mix, but one thing I was certain of, there was no Psion.

Looking at it from a neutral standpoint, like an average human, these four women had super abilities. Right now, they were supervillains. Well, to me at least.

My eyes drifted from Vicky's large bare feet, her sporty getup and intense expression, to Hailey's upper half, which rested on the ground, its bottom burning with invisible red flames.

"You killed Talia," Vicky growled.

"No! No!" I raised my left index finger. "The big man said no killing me."

Immediately, Vicky's gaze shot to Leon, clearly in disagreement if what I said was true, but despite the fury in the towering woman's eyes, Leon stood by his words.

"No killing."

"But...."

"Vicky!!!"

Surprisingly, it was Hailey who barked out her name, her eyes never leaving me for a second.

"Our lord has given his command. Besides, he said we could break some limbs."

Vicky clearly wanted nothing more than to strangle the life out of me, but gritting her teeth, she tamed her bloodlust, and that got me nodding.

"What a good doggy."

Vicky snorted, refusing to let me manipulate her and shrugging, I burst to the side.

One second, it seemed I wanted to circle the duo of women, but then I moved a few extra steps closer to the wall and rather than run by it, I jumped and slammed my feet onto it, channelling strength to my legs, and with my gaze locked on Leon, I pushed forward.

BAM!!

My push-off spread and deepened the cracks I'd made on the wall, and in the next second, my body was sailing through the air, rocketing at Leon.

The man, though raising an eyebrow, showed no panic. His usual long smile spread across his face as wind began to circle around him.

It started off gently, but after a single spin, it turned aggressive, expanding to over five meters in radius. Wind blades shimmered inside it.

To any eyes, I was heading into a grinder, about to be sliced to ribbons. But five meters from the deadly storm, I pulled the trigger.

Exploding from the barrel of my gun was a bullet with a force of 50,000 N. As it shot toward Leon, the heavy recoil also cancelled out half my forward momentum.

By the time I let out a third shot, I was just meters from Leon's deadly wind blades, already back on my feet and still bombarding him with rocket-like blasts as I circled him.

Leon's slicing wind shield was effective against my bullets, but only for the first two. By the third, the radius of his wind blades had shrunk to just a meter from his skin, and when the fourth shot landed BOOM!, an explosion resounded, and a scream burst out from the centre of the flames.

"AHHHHH!!"

At first, Hailey and Vicky had been okay with letting me go after their lord, assuming I was marching to my doom. But now, as things took a different turn, while Hailey stayed put, Vicky launched off the ground.

Moving in a zigzag pattern, the now-tall, massive lady had me pause mid-motion just to track her.

My eyes strained to follow her, but my mind saw everything. Ignoring her threat, I sprinted toward Leon.

After my last shot, the man had gone silent. Smoke and debris faded to reveal him down on one knee, his right hand missing, half his face burnt and his hair gone.

"Hailey!" Vicky screamed, her voice trembling as she looked toward Leon. But there was no need for the call.

Seconds earlier, Hailey had already turned herself into a large puddle of red, burning fire and was rapidly closing in on Leon.

Still more than ten meters away, her puddle form about three meters wide leapt into the air, spreading like a blanket, aiming to cover him.

It was clear she intended to surround Leon in a dome made from her own molten body, and with me approaching, that was the last thing I wanted.

Even without counting her potential to harden her liquid form to unbreakable levels, there was also the issue of her casting liquid fireballs from every part of her body.

I had no idea how much Hailey could spam her burning projectiles.

Just as her liquid frame began to fall, still midair, I raised my hand, and as it dropped, a longer-than-usual red katana appeared in my grip. I swung.

"Blood Strike."

The blade trembled. I felt a drain inside me. Then, following the swing, a red arc shot out from the blade and collided with the red pool in record time, splitting it in half and blasting it apart.

Maybe I could have used my shotgun for that. But at the same time, my Blood Strike hit Hailey, Vicky erupted into a sprint behind me, leaving a trail of shattered ground in her wake.

Her plan: burst in with speed and catch me off guard.

Unfortunately for her, the only thing she arrived behind me to see was the barrel of a shotgun in her face.

Take away their intangibility, and just like Leon, these girls were a walk in the park for me.

In the next few seconds, two inevitable things happened:

My shotgun blasted a shell at Vicky's face…

…and my blade slashed toward the neck of the kneeling Leon.
