Re-Awakening: I Ascend with a Legendary class

Chapter 343: Challenging

Chapter 343: Challenging

After showing and freshening up, the duo arrived in the Garden of Peace atop the Bloomshard Castle.

"It's been a while," Almond said as he looked at the Revelation Pavilion.

"Yep. I am going to focus on my specialized class for five hours and then Blood Mastery from the Elemental Imprint. I reached Epic-rank mastery in Blood almost a month ago, and its progress is 99% now. I'm close to a breakthrough."

"Awesome," Almond chuckled. "I haven't touched my Imprint or any rewards because I couldn't risk using them up there, but I brought everything with this clone. It's time to elevate my mastery of Lumeir."

"We got some awesome rewards, so we can use them too." Lily grinned and sat down in the pavilion while Almond also sat beside her.

Indeed, clearing the 7th to 14th Labyrinth Floor gave them a crazy amount of rewards. Almond had yet to open all the chests, but simply the contribution rewards and party chest rewards were immensely helpful.

Of course, the items they got were useless, so Almond devoured all of them after scanning them. The devouring process was still ongoing because this was not the usual one.

Almond was completely devouring the items and creating spirits out of them. He didn't know what he could do with these unique Item Spirits yet, but he planned to fiddle with them later.

The Heroic Points everyone earned from the challenges were used to buy resources to get powerful, like elemental stones, stat-increasing items, and most importantly, Custom Insight Scroll that started appearing in the Heroic Shop after the 10th Floor.

Custom Insight Scroll allowed them to choose an element from the list, allowing them to enter a dimension based around that element with a variant version.

Even if two people select Fire Element, they would go into different types of Fire Elemental dimensions with unique variant powers.

So, everyone was going to eat well for a while with this influx of rewards generated from the hell they went through, thanks to Almond.

An hour later, Almond decided to use a Custom Insight Scroll to increase the speed of comprehending the Lumeir element.

His consciousness drifted into a dimension, a realm of ever-flowing colorful lights drifting like wind. A boundless sky where golden gales dance with radiant mist, forming an ethereal domain of luminescent storms and celestial winds. Floating isles of crystallized air and glowing feathers drifted endlessly while the horizon shimmered with auroras that hummed with a strange intent related to the variant power of this Lumeir.

Almond felt a strange power of not being able to lie or veil in this dimension.

'A variant of Lumeir…what kind of variant effect is this?' Almond was interested and then thrilled as he wasted no time.

Custom Insight Scroll only gave 10 hours here, so he had to squeeze all out of him and attain enlightenment.

He emptied his mind and everything else. He erased his thoughts and decided to erase his memories as well.

With Spirit Animation, he could do that to himself.

Naturally, he made a measure to make the memories return after a certain amount of time, but for now, he completely emptied himself of all thoughts of past, present, and future.

In his blank shell and blank mind, he forgot everything and saw the scenery around him.

And drowned in it.

He had willed to invoke a desire before blanking himself, and it rose this time.

A single desire mastered this power that drowned him.

Almond didn't start training. He didn't know he had to focus. He just wandered around in curiosity as he could bend the powers here to a certain extent.

Like a newborn child who saw the first wonderful thing, Almond wandered around as the dimension resonated with him.

The gust of celestial lights danced around him as he moved, even guiding him to unknown depths of this world as if they found a friend.

Almond's consciousness had nothing in it other than this variant Lumeir element called Prism Resonant Lumeir.

After wandering around for five hours, Almond's consciousness avatar stared at the mysterious celestial energy that suddenly became clear to him.

His eyes closed shortly as his consciousness avatar began shimmering.

Time passed, and ten hours were over soon as his consciousness returned to his body along with his memories.

Almond stretched his palm as a triangular golden light prism formed with shimmering, colorful shard-shaped lights around it.

His eyes flickered before they surged with excitement.

'Prism Resonant Lumeir…'

Almond couldn't wait to try it out, and Lily was the best sparring partner for him right now.

Suddenly, the aura beside him shifted, and he turned his head.

Lily was getting encased in waves of crimson threads, ethereal yet looking liquid and sparkling even redder.

'It looks like she is breaking through.'

Almond stood up and vanished, arriving outside the castle on the training ground.

Technically, the entire huge mountain was his training ground, but he had a better idea.

He went to the central throne territory, which was just beside him. The tallest cliff with a void-eye above it.

It was populated by people, but not as much since it was the 4th cycle of Labyrinth, and the casual adventurers who focused on more productivity and their sub-classes had left.

People who were in the 4th cycle still had to wait to come out, unlike Almond, who could bring people outside with his point-to-point coordination teleport, but not without exerting willpower to make it succeed.

If those Hollowstar people could break the rules of Grimworld Tutorial's Labyrinth, then so could Almond!

Arriving in the center of the town, Almond used a function he had never used before.

Enter another world's Sanctuary Area!

People could come here as well, into this central town, and people of Earth could also randomly go to other Sanctuary areas!

Of course, attacking was banned by the Grimworld Tutorial in the Sanctuary Area, so it was safe for everyone.

The only problem was that people from other worlds couldn't leave the central city.

Almond saw some people of different races like Beastfolks and even Demons at the bars and other places in the city.

'It seems they like the stuff here, especially the food and drinks, haha.'

Suddenly, a commotion burst out when Almond was flying towards the center while watching the city.

Two people, one a wolf Beastfolk and the other an elf, seemed to be arguing.

"Damn it! I challenge you, you thin-stick! I wager this Insight Stone!"

Almond blinked. 'It looks like they are using the Arena function.'

Well, Almond also planned to use it, but not here.

Arriving at the center where a small dome-like building was situated, he entered inside, and a screen appeared in front of him.

[Would you like to travel to a random world's sanctuary area?]

Almond said yes and vanished.

Coming out of the dome in another sanctuary area, Almond spread his spatial pulse and got a reading.

'Looks like this is a hybrid world where both humans and beastfolks live together.'

Almond grinned.

He teleported and appeared in the sky at the center of the city.

"I, Almond Crowshade, an Adventurer from Earth, challenge you all! Whoever can defeat me will get a top-tier Mythical-rank Weapon of your choice!"

His voice spread far and wide, to all sides, to the end of this Sanctuary Area which also had exactly the same Throne-Territories.
