Chapter 3033: This Girl Had Already Gone Crazy From the Trauma

Wang Ying’s mother was furious that Ning Shu took the eggs, but she didn’t dare lay a hand on her.

This girl had already gone crazy from the trauma.

She had completely given up and was reckless enough to do anything now.

Wang Ying’s mother feared that provoking her might lead to her taking it out on her brother again.

She had gotten used to having a submissive, dutiful daughter, which made her loathe this current rebellious and selfish version of her even more.

“Wang Ying, you shameless wretch, get out here! How dare you seduce my son and accuse him of rape, you filthy tramp!”

As of now, the sun had already set. However, a sharp voice suddenly appeared at the door.

Ning Shu was eating her noodles when she heard the screeching. The vulgar words and that distinct shrillness made it obvious who it was—Li Bing’s mother.

Ning Shu calmly continued eating, slurping down the broth.

“Look at what you’ve done! We can’t even live in peace anymore!” Wang Ying’s mother spat at her.

The yelling outside continued, drawing a crowd. People came with flashlights, eager to watch the commotion.

Seeing the growing audience, Li Bing’s mother became even more excited, hurling increasingly vile insults without even repeating herself once.

Ning Shu finished the last of her soup and burped.

“Can’t a person be allowed to sleep in peace!? What’s all this racket?”

Wang Chao emerged from his room, looking annoyed.

Ning Shu walked over to him with a smile, grabbed him by the collar, and started dragging him toward the door. “Come on, dear brother, let’s go seek justice together. You know how much your sister loves you—you wouldn’t just stand by and do nothing, would you?”

“Let go of Wang Chao! There are so many people outside! What if he gets hurt?” Wang Ying’s mother rushed over, trying to pry Ning Shu’s hands off him.

Wang Chao resisted. “This is your mess! You didn’t even tell the family before calling the police, and now people are showing up at our doorstep. Now you want to drag me into it?”

Ning Shu tilted her head, watching Wang Chao struggle, his face turning red.

The original host really had been so invisible in her own family. No one seemed to care about her at all.

In reality, it wasn’t a huge deal that her parents didn’t care about her. The problem was, that she also viewed herself with a very low status. When one didn’t even love themselves, that was the real tragedy.

She suddenly let go of Wang Chao’s collar. The abrupt disappearance of the resistance made him fall backward and land hard on his backside.

Wang Chao winced, rubbing his sore bottom.

Wang Ying’s father, still smoking, said, “Don’t go out. Let her rant and rave. She’ll tire herself out and leave.”

Ning Shu scoffed inwardly, opened the door, and checked her pocket.

Li Bing’s mother sat on the ground wailing, but the moment she saw Ning Shu, she sprang to her feet. Pointing at Ning Shu, she unleashed a torrent of abuse, calling her a cheap slut, a woman who had slept with countless men.

Her spittle flew as she cursed.

Some of the onlookers shone their flashlights directly in Ning Shu’s face. She raised a hand to block the harsh light.

“If anyone dares shine that light in my face again, I won’t bother to be polite,” Ning Shu said coldly.

Li Bing’s mother, her voice full of righteous indignation, yelled, “Go tell the police that you were willing! My son didn’t rape you!”

Earlier that day, Li Bing’s mother had also been taken to the police station. She had seen her son and learned that he might go to jail.

The only way out was for the female party to admit it wasn’t rape—that it had been consensual.

Li Bing’s mother felt like the sky was collapsing when she heard that her son was going to prison. He was her only support. If he went to jail, what should she do?
