Chapter 357: Challenging The Second Level of The Sword Bridge

The wounds on his body were all healed instantly.

But I want it done before the rescue." Kent sighed and handed her the Tower City Builder Token. Gaia is a cosmic weaver, so she is perfect for making the city look grand. 

And he wants it grand before the two ladies are out of the cave and cages. 

Since he promised Camilla and Mara that he would create a space for them to spend with the two ladies, he would make it happen.

He had already seen how amazing the sword bridge was, and now, he couldn't help but want to get down to business.

If the first level was this rewarding, then what would the second level be like.

"Dying the second time won't be bad if it will allow me to at least know more about the next challenge and what I would be going against." 

Kent accepted this reasoning, and so, taking his sword, he moved. Soon, he was inside the second level. 

This time, a copy of him in green armor appeared, holding a green sword sheath housing a sword. Everything was the same as Kent except for the color.

Of course, he could tell the strength inside this clone was much stronger than the white clone. This means he is about to face a more advanced version of his perfect self.

The moment the clone appeared, a powerful sword qi and intent exploded out of its body, shaking the ground beneath Kent.

This forced him to move back, narrowly evading a dark shard aimed at his chest. The clone attacked instantly, taking him by surprise.

"Damn, that was aggressive." He moved to the side, and before he could land on the ground, another shard shot out of the ground. 

This time, he blocked it with his sword sheath, pushing him back a few meters. The force behind that attack was so great that he had to retreat several meters just to stabilize himself. 

But the moment he stabilized, he felt something lock onto his body. That was when he saw the clone raise its sword. 

The sword was bathed in green sword qi, and from the look of things, it was level 8 sword qi, meaning Kent's level 6 was insignificant in comparison. 

The clone slashed its sword, unleashing a wide but thin vertical sword arc that flashed toward Kent, threatening to split him in half vertically. 

But he didn't just stand there and wait to be killed. 

Kent also channeled his sword qi and imbued it with intent, taking a horizontal swing that released a sword arc. It instantly clashed with the clone's vertical arc. 

Kent quickly realized his sword arc was weaker, so he activated the True Despair Sword Strike, which managed to neutralize the attack. 

But the moment that was dealt with, he noticed something that sent a chill down his spine. The clone was nowhere to be found. 

It had literally vanished, and from how it happened, Kent's blood ran cold. He knew this battle was not on the same level as the first one. 

In fact, this battle was on a level he could never have anticipated. While the previous clone used both sword intent and qi for its attacks, this one used only sword qi, yet Kent had to use both to counter it.

This means if it were to use both sword qi and intent, things would become much more intense.

And now, it had vanished, possibly using the Split Body Sword Strike. 

Kent narrowed his eyes, and then his eyes widened...
