Chapter 1382 Conclusion

Chapter 1382 - 1382 Conclusion

Xarath struggled for a bit but soon turned into a pile of ash that was scattered everywhere. Immediately after that, the cloud of poison he had ejected lost its effect and briefly cleared out.

Yoruichi, with her Shunko active, came down to where Stralit was. "Where's the other one?"

Stralit didn't answer and just turned from the wall where she came from, and soon Gwenn also emerged from it.

Gwenn was about to comment on how brutal Stralit was and how she truly was her mother's daughter when her attention was caught by Yoruichi's current form. "...I'm seeing it personally for the first time... But that technique seriously doesn't make any sense. Why does it look more complicated than most of the unique abilities of Etoulde lineages?"

"If you could make sense of it in the short time you've seen it, then it wouldn't be considered a special technique," Yoruichi quipped. "Though those eyes are really something else since you can see how a Shinigami uses their Reiatsu. You saw how I remained unaffected by his poison, didn't you?"

Gwenn watched Yoruichi power down and stayed silent for a moment before answering, "The Qira Clan's poison works by directly invading one's soul. Even if you don't breathe it in or block every opening on your body, it'll still be able to reach you if you have a soul. In your case, however, the Spiritual Power was circulating so fast that his poison was just being knocked off to the side... It was a very impressive defensive mechanism... But normally you'd be burned, body and soul, if you even attempted this. Seriously, what nonsense is this?"

Yoruichi smiled and recalled Aizen's words to Soifon when the latter's [Death in Two Steps] didn't work on him. But instead of staying on this topic, Yoruichi asked, "Can you see the others? Please tell me what's happening."

Gwenn nodded, but before fulfilling Yoruichi's request, she turned to Stralit. "Can you let me have that head?"

Stralit first looked at Nylara's head, still dripping with blood and frozen in its horrified state, before she tossed it to Gwenn. "What are you going to do with it?"

Gwenn caught the head and immediately used Magic to preserve it. "I'll gift it to my father."

Yoruichi was curious how such a gruesome gift would make her father happy, but she also didn't want to get involved, so she kept her mouth shut.

After keeping it in her inventory, Gwenn finally properly looked around and was speechless. Her eyes were obstructed by the barrier, but if she focused enough, she could vaguely see through the entire barrier and make some assumptions. This time, however, she didn't need to assume, as it was obvious from the silhouettes running back and forth that a massacre was happening, with the Etouldes on the receiving end of the punishing stick.

"They'll only last for a few minutes. The matriarch of Liora might last longer, but the ending is already inevitable," Gwenn gave her assessment.

"Who is she up against?" Yoruichi asked curiously.

"...I don't really know how to describe her, aside from a smiling scary lady covered in blood and hacking away at her... Can I look away now?"

"Unohana, of all people?" Yoruichi instantly guessed who she was talking about. "Talk about rotten luck... But now that you mention gifts, I think she'll be durable enough." She then turned away from both Stralit and Gwenn before making a call, "Ah, Riveria? Can you tell Unohana to keep the one she has alive? It's for negotiations. Thank you~!"

"...I'm certain I heard something I shouldn't have," Gwenn shuddered and whispered to Stralit.

Stralit sheathed Benihime and sighed, "Don't think about it." Stralit turned her eyes to Yoruichi and thought, 'So they are keeping those from that world alive... Well, considering how small their world is, losing Indra and his forces would be a huge blow to their overall strength as one world.'

. . .

The jet black orb, akin to a giant black hole, disappeared, leaving behind no traces of Regalzeva. Kisuke, who had returned to his base form, managed to come out of it with half of his body gone. He didn't have the strength to move anymore but wasn't too concerned about that as there were no more immediate threats to him. [Unbelievable... He really managed to get away from that?]

'Aren't you more surprised that I managed to stay alive?'

Tiamat didn't say anything immediately and observed Kisuke's state. [I know you enough that you'd never sacrifice your life for something like this.]

'How cold. At least act like you're worried.' Kisuke chuckled internally before his eyes turned upward and saw a familiar figure looking down on him. "Are you here to finish me off? Great timing. I won't be able to fight back."

The figure smiled and replied, "With those petrifying eyes keeping a close watch on you? I wouldn't dare, even if I wanted to."

Kisuke cracked a smile and replied, "To think the great Aizen Sosuke would admit weakness. Those back in our homeworld would be speechless."

Aizen didn't mind Kisuke's words and turned his head toward a certain direction. "Of course, I'll admit it. Even I wouldn't be able to defeat the opponent you took on just now... Yet that one is even more terrifying." Despite his words, a big smile was plastered on his face.

Kisuke closed his eyes with a satisfied smile. "That woman lifted your competitive spirit, huh?"

"You truly presented me with a very wonderful world, Urahara Kisuke. You have my gratitude. I'll be sure to enjoy it to the fullest."

"Don't kill yourself over it. It's really convenient to be able to talk to someone of your caliber."

. . .

Deep within the vast space and in the direction where Aizen was looking, a very tiny Regalzeva, only around 3 inches tall, was traveling more than a hundred times the speed of sound and still continually speeding up. 'That was close. Who would have thought that he'd self-destruct like that? If anybody finds me in this state, it's going to be very dangerous.'

It would take some time for him to recover and open a gate to warp out, so his only option right now was to crudely escape.

At that moment, however, he felt a very familiar aura of an ally. Regalzeva hurriedly stopped and spoke out loud, "What are you doing here, Seraselbes?"

The darkness of space rippled before a woman appeared before him. But without a word, she lifted her left arm towards Regalzeva, making the latter shudder, "Huh!?"

Regalzeva tried to get away, but the space around him twisted and contracted into a very small point, swallowing and disintegrating him completely.

Seraselbes turned towards Kisuke and Aizen's direction and scoffed before disappearing into nothing. 'Touch him, and I'm going to make sure that there's nothing left of you.'

. . .

Within the original Etoulde Evie world and the deepest chamber within the Evie territory, an Evie that closely resembled a Human, just like Seraselbes, slowly opened his eyes and softly muttered, "Regalzeva died? Let's see... He died in 39,465 worlds... A major event but only within those few worlds? What changed?"
