Sophia’s Oppression_2 723: 497.

Sophia’s Oppression_2 Only Senior Mia, Madeline, Audrey, and Little Alice exchanged glances, then realized who had initiated this Club President meeting.

Well, those two rows of Puppet Maids at the entrance were one thing, but these unique delicacies now?

They were unmistakably Dorothy’s handiwork.

Although they were curious when Dorothy had become acquainted with people from the Glorious Sun Society.

After everyone was seated under the guidance of the Puppet Maids, finally, the initiator of the meeting made her appearance.

Two witches stepped forward onto the temporary podium at the very front of the meeting room.

One looked like a fantastical princess straight out of a fairy tale, with beautiful rainbow-colored long hair.

The other was rather unassuming, with black hair plaited into braids, long bangs in the front, and sporting a pair of huge black-framed glasses.

Logically, one would expect the country girl to be serving the princess, but in reality, the country girl walked in front, with the fantastical princess following behind like a maid.

The witches who had just sat down were taken aback by this scene, and the lively atmosphere suddenly quieted down.

“Holy shit, Miss High-and-Mighty?”

No one knew who let out the exclamation first, but suddenly the atmosphere in the hall heated up, turning into a fan meeting.

“Damn, it’s really her, the real Miss High-and-Mighty.”

“So Miss High-and-Mighty actually joined Witch’s Night this time.”

“Miss High-and-Mighty, did you initiate this meeting?

Please, big shot, take me with you.”

…..

On the stage, the Homebody Witch was also taken aback by the enthusiasm of the witch students, having thought her own reputation as Miss High-and-Mighty was only useful among the regular students.

Yet, those present were all leaders of the top societies, the elite of the academy, and now they seemed as fervent as her own fans, which left her rather speechless.

Really now?

All I did was ace the assessments of the Nine Major Schools, and then successfully challenge the Armed Society.

No big deal, it’s all basic stuff.

Please, everyone, take a seat.

The zeal of the crowd below left the Homebody Witch feeling her social anxiety kicking in; she wasn’t good at dealing with such overly enthusiastic fanfare.

If everyone looked down on her, she’d actually be more at ease, ready to show them up, but with everyone being so enthusiastic, it was truly difficult to handle.

Fortunately, not everyone present was so restless.

The Homebody Witch looked around and noticed that there were still plenty of students observing her with calmness or curiosity.

She recognized most of them because Senior Christina had just recently introduced them; they were leaders of some of the larger societies, especially the presidents of the Top Ten Societies.

Those who could lead the top societies in Witch Academy were naturally geniuses among geniuses, the cream of the crop.

They were celebrities in the academy, the objects of admiration and aspiration for other students, and thus they wouldn’t fawn over others so easily.

After all, geniuses are proud at heart.

For these senior students who had been well-known in the academy for many years, Dorothy’s rapid-rise as a promising newcomer was nothing new.

While none of the past newcomers had quite the buzz she did, mere rumors were not enough to impress them completely.

For them, hearing is false, seeing is believing.

Until they witnessed firsthand the prowess of the famed underclassman, they would reserve their judgment regardless of how sensational the rumors were.

What did catch their interest was the rumor that the underclassman was the rumored girlfriend of the Student Council President.

They might not have seen the underclassman’s skills, but the president’s formidable presence was witnessed by many – his undeniable and overwhelming charisma was unforgettable.

Quite a few among those present secretly admired the seemingly perfect Student Council President, but, unfortunately, the president treated everyone with the same demeanor and never showed particular closeness to anyone.

Yet, the president had displayed something different towards this underclassman, and it was even said they lived together, leaving many feeling inwardly unwilling to accept it, while also curious about what was so compelling about this unassuming country girl, and why they didn’t measure up to her.

It’s a pity that Miss High-and-Mighty had been unexpectedly low-key at school.

After a few instances of standing out, she suddenly fell silent, and since then had rarely been seen.

And now, they finally got another look at the legendary underclassman, and couldn’t help but scrutinize her closely.

However, no matter how much they observed, they couldn’t see what was so special about the underclassman; at least from appearances, she truly seemed like a completely ordinary background character.

“Dina, is this really the legendary Miss High-and-Mighty?

Is she that incredible?”

“Senior Madeline, did this country girl really tie with you?”

“Wenwen, you big-mouthed crow, you always claim to have the inside scoop, right?

Is the president really living with this country girl?

I’ve been cooped up in the research institute for the last two months and didn’t come out – how has the world changed so fast?”
