Frey is now adorned with her signature Aurora Armor that she can only wear when the power of the Goddess Freyja descends on her. She managed to activate Goddess Descent but the only thing that descended was the divine energy of the Goddess Freyja. With the limited energy that she could muster, she cannot call upon a fragment of the goddess to empower her in battle.

The Frost High Elf Warrior also felt this as he did feel divine energy from the Valkyrie before him, but he did not feel the oppressive power of a god. He thought that a goddess would truly descend but Frey only became stronger in terms of her aura. There was no shadow of a divine entity that is possessing her body.

"It seems that even your goddess cannot help you which means she must be weak." The Frost High Elf Warrior stated mockingly as he could feel that he has more of a presence compared to Frey now.

"Are those your last words, elf?" Frey stated with full confidence as she had this form way before she became the Avatar of the Goddess Freyja.

"You dare call me just an elf?!" The Frost High Elf Warrior shouted as he rushed towards Frey with his frozen sword.

For High Elves that think that they are better than normal elves, the referral as just an elf is a big insult to them. Even though elves themselves can become high elves if they attune better with nature, but that sentiment is not shared by natural born high elves. The Frost High Elf Warrior is a natural born high elf which is why he looks down on normal frost elves and does not really care as much when they died.

"Pathetic." Frey simply stated as her spear could be seen coated with refracting lights as well.

Frey thrusted her spear even though the Frost High Elf Warrior was still a few meters away. The Frost High Elf Warrior believed that Frey was losing her mind as she was hitting nothing by performing that attack, but he was wrong. The thin ice barrier that the Frost High Elf Warrior suddenly shattered as something made an impact against it.

"What was that?!" The Frost High Elf Warrior thought as he was still charging towards Frey as he slowly realized his barrier was undone.

Frey did not react as she expected that the Frost High Elf Warrior will have some layer of protection. She then flipped her spear once again and thrusted towards the direction of the Frost High Elf Warrior. The Frost High Elf Warrior felt the danger and instinctively evaded while also using some of his permafrost energy to quickly create another barrier.

The barrier was struck once again and easily destroyed but the Frost High Elf Warrior remained safe. Unlike earlier, the Frost High Elf Warrior managed to get a distinct look at the thing that collided and destroyed his barrier. A very thin and sharp light projectile in the shape of a spear destroyed his barrier before dissipating when it hit.

"Hm. More effort then." Frey stated as she shifted her stance to a more stable standing position with her back being a bit hunched.

Frey gripped her spear tightly and assumed a crouched position. The energy of her armor could be seen going towards her spear as it glowed in the same light that covered her body. The Frost High Elf Warrior's instincts as a warrior flared up as it was telling him to protect himself. The Frost High Elf Warrior would have attacked but all he could do is send a frosty sword wave that can be cut by Frey as seen in their earlier exchanges.

"Frost King's Barrier!" The Frost High Elf Warrior shouted as he stabbed his sword onto the floor.

A large ice explosion with the sword of the Frost High Elf Warrior being in the center of it all. A large wall of ice could be seen created instantaneously as if the ice manifested from air. Frey, on the other hand, kept her immense focus as she proceeded to do numerous spear thrusts in front of her.

The ice barrier that the Frost High Elf Warrior held is also being maintained by him using his own mana and willpower. He thought that his instincts might have become rusty as he thought using the powerful Frost King's Barrier was excessive against one warrior, but he soon learned that it was the correct option. The Frost King's Barrier that is said to easily defend against Legendary Tier spells could be seen getting chipped slowly by numerous light projectiles in the shape of a spear.

"How could this be happening!? How can one woman have this kind of power!" The Frost High Elf Warrior thought as he could feel his mana being rapidly drained as his Frost King's Barrier is being sculpted with ease.

Frey's eyes could be seen glowing in the light of an aurora because it is not just her armor that is filled with it. Frey's entire body is filled with the divine energy of the Goddess Freyja as she has become the perfect vessel. Even if she does not host a shard of the Goddess Freyja's soul, Frey could still perfectly utilize the divine energy sent to her as she no longer needs the assistance of her goddess to effectively use it.

The Frost King's Barrier slowly cracked which made the Frost High Elf Warrior panic because this was the best defensive spell he could muster with the limited energy he could use. The Frost High Elf Warrior did not think that he would actually wish for time to go faster because he knows he will win if he has access to more energy. He wanted to use the ultimate spell that the Frost Elemental King used to defeat hundreds of Frost High Elves back then.

"The interval is every half hour. As long as I do not get harmed for the next ten minutes, I will win this battle." The Frost High Elf Warrior thought as he poured more mana to the Frost King's Barrier to regenerate it.

"This is inefficient." Frey muttered as she relaxed her stance since she noticed that she could not destroy the Frost King's Barrier.

The Frost High Elf Warrior actually became slightly relieved as he could see through the ice that the enemy Valkyrie stopped attacking. He then saw Frey rushing towards the barrier and attacking it directly with the weapon but failing to destroy it. The best that Frey could do was destroy shards of ice from the barrier itself. They were now at a stalemate but only the Frost High Elf Warrior was glad that this was the case.

"I will win!" The Frost High Elf Warrior thought but he suddenly felt hot on his stomach.

The Frost High Elf Warrior thought that he was completely rid of the curse given by the Winter Tree, but he soon learned that was not the case. He looked down on his stomach and saw the spear being held by the enemy Valkyrie now piercing his stomach. The spear head even pierced the floor which made the handle look shorter. Thorns suddenly exploded from the spear and gripped the body of the Frost High Elf Warrior as this was the special effect of Frey's spear when it impales an enemy.

"How!?" The Frost High Elf Warrior muttered as the Frost King's Barrier shattered since the flow of mana is suddenly cut off.

"Impossible! My Frost King's Barrier should have been impenetrable." The Frost High Elf Warrior stated as he dropped to the ground coughing out blood which the thorns absorbed.

"Nothing is impenetrable against the Aurora Spear. It took quite a while to fully make it my own skill as it was derived from the previous skill given by the God Odin called Gungnir. Unlike Gungnir that hits the targets always, Aurora Spear is filled with the magic of the Goddess Freyja and my will. This spear can penetrate any defenses as long as I have a clear target." Frey stated.

"I can still win. I am the greatest Frost High Elf to ever live! I have lived longer compared to those that have come before me! I am the chosen High Elf that will lead all of the others!" The Frost High Elf Warrior stated as he gripped his sword with his dying hands.

The Frost High Elf Warrior gripped the sword and activated its magic to try and restore himself. Frey recalled her spear and is about to cut the head of the Frost High Elf Warrior when the energy from her enemy's sword did not function properly. The Frost High Elf Warrior also noticed this as the permafrost energy that was supposed to heal him suddenly covered his hand with freezing ice.

"No! I am your master! You must obey me!" The Frost High Elf Warrior shouted but the sword did not obey him but turned his entire body into ice and then proceeded to explode.
