"This is an A ranked escort and security mission. Even if you are an Elite jounin, you will have to take at least two more teammates with you Usagi chan." The third hokage said to Usagi while handing over the mission scroll to her.

"Give me Duy and someone else ! I need to leave before sensei appears. Wait a minute can you just give a headband to Shiro. Make him a temporary genin or something like that. Just do it quickly."

"Duy, got it. I can't make Shiro a genin since he is your pet. but there should be a guy named Kuro Sarutobi. You can pick him up from the chunin waiting room."

"Thank you ! Goodbye, see you in a month." Quickly saying thanks to the old hokage, Usagi bolted out of the room and created two Shadow clones to collect her teammates while she herself headed towards the village gate along with Shiro.

As expected, Duty reached the gate within 5 minutes of being called by her Shadow clone. The Kuro guy took 5 more minutes but considering that it was a month long mission the delay was understandable.

As soon as her teammates showed up in front of the village gate, Usagi quickly signed the documents and they went outside the village.

The month-long mission was actually quite simple. They had to go to the land of the sea to guard Daimyo during his visit to the land of lightning through the sea. The visit itself will last around a month. Usually this kind of mission would have been marked as a B ranked mission. But the safest sea route from the land of sea to the land of lightning will go through the waters and territories of the land of water. Among the five great Nations land of water might not be the poorest great Nation but it has the worst reputation because of the hidden mist village. On top of that due to the retreat and ceasefire of the hidden stone the third great shinobi war might have been delayed but it was not over yet. That's why due to the tension between The shinobi villages, the mission was marked as an A rank mission.

The land of sea was a small land near the land of tea in the south east direction of the land of Fire. Usually going through the land of Fire would be considered safer than taking the sea route. But considering that in that case they will have to go through the land of hot water and the land of grass, during unstable war time it was a better option to go through sea.

"Finally we have reached the port city ! It is time to let our youth shine !" Duy being Duy shouted enthusiastically.

"Duy, I know that you are excited but can you keep it down please...." Kuro complained. In the past 3 days, his perception of the eternal genin has changed a lot. During their journey they encountered two rogue shinobi from the land of grass. Both of them were chunin level opponents. But Usagi gave Duy the chance to prove himself. And he did it very well. Despite eccentric personality, Duy was the real deal. He was nowhere near the level of Guy of the future. Due to his below average financial conditions and his rank as a genin, he had to spend a lot of time doing low ranked missions just to sustain himself and his son. So he might rival his future son in terms of our at his base, in terms of technique he was at special Jounin level at best. But for Kuro, who was at chunin level, it was already admirable.

"It is still early in the morning. So we will go and meet our client first. After that we can look for a place to eat and stay afterwards." Usagi told the two shinobi and the three of them headed straight towards the largest building in the town.

The land of the sea has two main sources of income. Seafood export and tourism. So the port town was literally bustling with a lot of tourists.

As the trio navigated through the city to reach the castle, Usagi was really surprised. Apparently the port town was almost as big as the hidden leaf village. On top of that, its architecture was more modern than the hidden leaf village. The port town was located at the cost of the ocean. So the summer climate was better and cooler than the land of Fire. Usagi also spotted a variety of seafood and sea life that she has never seen before, in the land. It was a great opportunity for her. Because when she asked around in the local shops, many of the sea creatures were actually bought by Ninja villages to create poison and medicines from their remains. While Usagi wanted to explore the local market they had to report to the Daimyo first. So after getting distracted only 7 times, the trio finally reached in front of the gate of the largest building in the land of sea.

"I am really happy how fast you people arrived. But I have paid for an A ranked mission. Is the hidden leaf village short on manpower to send only 3 shinobi to an A ranked mission ?" The Daimyo of the land of sea asked with a leisurely tone. Even though his face didn't change, Usagi could tell that the man was not happy. Daimyo was a middle aged man, in his early forties with a thin moustache and brown hair. He was dressed like a typical noble. But from all the gold jewelleries and accessories on his body, Usagi could tell that the man wanted to flaunt his wealth in front of others. Because even the Fire Daimyo would not wear such luxury items in front of the shinobi. They wouldn't want to test the greed of a human who could use Chakra and could one shot them even before they could move. But the daimyo of the land of sea had not cared about that.

"Daimyo sama, I understand your concerns. But I assure you that the mission has been assigned to the right people after analysing the requirements. I am an elite Jounin, specialising in barrier ninjutsu. So, rest assured Daimyo sama. We will protect you in your journey at any cost." Usagi replied in her professional tone.

"Fine, I will trust you for now on.

Iwashi, show these shinobi their quarters and brief them about our journey."

The attendance of the Daimyo nodded immediately and took the trio of shinobi and the White honey badger to an empty room near the quarters of the Samurais.

"Our lord will travel with two of his concubines. You must protect those three at any cost. Apart from them I and two other servants will be travelling with us along with lord's personal Samurai guards. We will visit 3 Islands on our way before we reach the land of lightning. There we will stay for a week before coming back to the land of Sea. Including our travelling time you will have to protect our lord for around a month. During this time you can bring your own food or if you want we can share our food. Your lodging will be taken care of by our lord. I will send you the sea chart and the map of the route we will be taking, soon. If you need anything I want to meet me then you can contact the servants at the end of this corridor. We will leave tomorrow evening. Till then you are free to do whatever you want.

Do you have any more questions ?" The way the guy told her about the mission, for a moment Usagi felt like he might be a robot. Maintaining such an extremely professional tone was not easy.

"I understand. Thank you for your hospitality." Usagi maintained her own professional tone.

After the man left the room, Usagi turned towards her teammates.

"Since our mission is not going to start today, feel free to do whatever you want.

Shiro, you can go and hunt outside the city. But don't wander around on your own. I will be scouting in the town. I will leave two Shadow clones with you guys. Just pop her in case of an emergency." Usagi told her teammates before she created two shadow clones and then left to explore the town. Apart from the seafood, Usagi was also interested in different types of sea creatures of this world.

It is called that life was created in the ocean. So Usagi was hoping to find a treasure trove of creatures under the water. It was the type of mission that she would love to do.
