"Still chatting at a time like this? Do you really not take Shisui Uchiha seriously?" Shin commented, watching Hiruzen and Danzō converse.

'Are they that confident in their strength?' Shin mused. Looks like Shisui isn't posing enough of a threat. Should he raise the difficulty for them?

Shin stroked his chin, considering whether to add more chaos to Konoha's situation.

"It seems your will won't waver. Fine. Consider me without a son then." Fugaku's face was expressionless, but his sorrow was palpable. Father fighting son—it was too cruel.

After apologizing, Itachi's Susanoo wielded the Totsuka Blade, a spirit weapon formed from chakra with no physical form, and thrust it towards Fugaku. Anyone pierced by the Totsuka Blade would be sealed away forever in a genjutsu world of drunken dreams.

The Totsuka Blade pierced through Fugaku's Susanoo, heading towards Fugaku himself, who stood within the construct. If struck, Fugaku would inevitably be sealed.

Fugaku also deactivated his Susanoo. He couldn't maintain it either. The drain was too great.

It wasn't a lack of chakra that forced Fugaku to stop, but insufficient ocular power.

Compared to Itachi, Fugaku's ocular power was average.

Fugaku's eyes widened, filled with intense unwillingness as he died.

'Just like this? Dying so unjustly?' Fugaku couldn't accept it.

Just then, Itachi suddenly unleashed Amaterasu. Black flames instantly engulfed Fugaku's body, reducing it to ashes within the dark inferno.

Itachi hadn't intended to desecrate his father's corpse. He had done it because he noticed the masked man eyeing his father's Mangekyō Sharingan.

To prevent the eyes from falling into the hands of this self-proclaimed Madara Uchiha, Itachi used Amaterasu to destroy them.
