Myth Beyond Heaven

Chapter 2713: Iron Will (1) Prev

Two weeks later, the Cloud Dragon Ark finally arrived at the Iron Will Realm. As they approached, the realm unfolded before them, a tapestry of bustling cities, towering mountains, and winding rivers. The air was thick with the scent of metal and smoke, a testament to the realm's reputation as the homeland of blacksmiths.

"This is the Iron Will Realm," Shi Nansun said, his voice filled with pride. "Everywhere you look, you will find the smoke of forges and the clang of hammers."

Yun Lintian gazed upon the realm, his eyes scanning the landscape. He saw people coming and going, their faces etched with determination, their hands calloused and strong. He saw cities teeming with life, their streets lined with workshops and stores, their skies filled with the smoke of countless forges.

Under Shi Nansun's guidance, the Cloud Dragon Ark descended towards a small town nestled amidst the mountains.

"This is Copper Town," Shi Nansun said, his voice filled with nostalgia. "It is my hometown."

The town was a bustling hub of activity, its streets filled with the sounds of hammers and the shouts of merchants. The air was thick with the scent of coal and metal, a testament to the town's reputation as a center of forging.

Shi Nansun led Yun Lintian towards a modest house on the edge of town, its walls weathered, its roof patched.

"This is my home," he said, his voice filled with emotion.

He stepped through the door, his voice echoing through the house. "Mother, Father, I am home!"

The sound of footsteps echoed from within, and a moment later, Shi Nansun's mother emerged, her eyes widening in surprise.

"Nansun!" she cried, her voice filled with disbelief. "You are back!"

She rushed towards him, her arms outstretched, and embraced him tightly. "We thought you had gone to the Starlight Realm. We were so worried."

Shi Nansun smiled gently, his eyes filled with warmth. "I did, but I met someone along the way."

He gestured towards Yun Lintian, who stood patiently by the door. "This is Young Master Yun. He has offered me a place to work, and he has allowed me to bring you all with me."

His mother's eyes widened, her gaze shifting towards Yun Lintian. She bowed deeply, her voice filled with gratitude.

"Thank you, Young Master Yun," she said. "Thank you for taking care of my son."

Yun Lintian smiled gently. "It is my pleasure. Your son is a skilled blacksmith, and I am honored to have him work for me."

Shi Nansun's father emerged from the back room, his eyes filled with surprise. He gazed upon Yun Lintian, his expression thoughtful. "You are a generous man, Young Master Yun. We are grateful for your kindness."

He paused for a moment and asked, "But can you tell us where you are going to take us?"

Yun Lintian smiled and said, "I will show you."

He waved his hand, and a shimmering gate appeared in the air, its surface swirling with an otherworldly light. "This gate will lead you to my home."

Shi Nansun's parents looked at the gate, their eyes filled with curiosity. They had never seen such a thing before.

"Go ahead," Yun Lintian said. "Take a look."

Shi Nansun's parents hesitated for a moment, then stepped through the gate.

A moment later, they returned, their eyes wide with surprise.

"This place…" Shi Nansun's mother began, her voice filled with awe, "it's… incredible."

"It's called Nine Firmament City," Yun Lintian's voice echoed in their heads. "It is a peaceful place, where everyone can live in harmony."

Shi Nansun's parents looked at each other, their faces filled with a mix of wonder and relief. They had seen the bustling streets, the smiling faces, the peaceful atmosphere. They had felt the slightly less dense, but still ample, divine energy.

They returned to the house and looked at Yun Lintian.

"It is a good place," Shi Nansun's father said, his voice filled with approval. "We will go."

At that moment, a matured woman walked over, her expression filled with concern.

"Brother!" she cried, her voice filled with relief. "I heard you had returned."

"Sister?" Shi Nansun responded.

"I am so glad to see you," the woman said, her voice trembling. "We were so worried."

She then looked at Yun Lintian, Qingqing, and Linlin. "Who are they?"

Shi Nansun smiled and said, "This is Young Master Yun. He has offered me a place to work, and he has allowed us to bring the whole family."

His sister's eyes widened, her gaze shifting towards Yun Lintian. "Thank you, Young Master Yun."

Shi Nansun then hesitated and looked at Yun Lintian. "Young Master Yun. Is it… is it possible to bring my sister's family as well? My brother-in-law is also a skilled blacksmith."

Yun Lintian smiled. "Of course. The more the better. I need more blacksmiths."

Shi Nansun's face lit up with joy. "Thank you, Young Master Yun!"

His sister's eyes filled with tears. "Thank you. You have saved us."

Similar to Shi Nansun's situation, her husband also had no customers. Her family urgently needed a source of income.

They quickly packed their belongings, their hearts filled with excitement and anticipation.

A while later, Yun Lintian sent Shi Nansun's family to the Nine Firmament Realm, leaving Shi Nansun behind with him.

"I need to buy more materials. Do you have any suggestions?" Yun Lintian asked.

Since the Iron Will Realm was known as the realm of forgers, there must be a lot of precious materials here. Yun Lintian wanted to use this chance to bring as many of them to his timeline as possible.

"Of course," Shi Nansun nodded heavily. "We can go to Iron Will City. It's the biggest city in the realm."

"Iron Will City?" Yun Lintian raised an eyebrow, intrigued. "Is it far from here?"

Shi Nansun shook his head. "No, Young Master. It's only a few hours away. We can reach there by tomorrow."

Yun Lintian nodded. "Then let's go," he said, summoning the Cloud Dragon Ark once more.

The Cloud Dragon Ark soared into the sky, its engines roaring with a silent energy. It sped towards Iron Will City.

As they flew, Shi Nansun gazed upon the landscape below, his eyes filled with a mix of nostalgia and anticipation.

Although he didn't know how far the Nine Firmament Realm was from here, he had a hunch that he would never have a chance to come back. He wanted to use this chance to take one last look at his hometown…
