Huo Yuhao felt happy inside. He basically has gotten clues about Valerie and Liu Mei's whereabouts. 

However, Huo Yuhao quickly suppressed his excitement and stared at the nervous Makino. The latter has waited for a while to get her Martial Soul awakened by him.

Everyone stared at Makino, making her even more nervous.

Huo Yuhao chuckled, "Okay, don't be too nervous now. You're looking like a tomato now." 

"Mm..." Makino looked down, tapping her shoes shyly. 

"Ah, you..." Toki sighed helplessly at Makino's reaction. This noble sister of hers is always talented and gentle, but before the handsome Huo Yuhao, she has no defense at all.

Makino closed her eyes and felt a warm, comfortable blanket-like energy covering her body. She sighed in relief like she was dipping in a hot spring with that "perfect" temperature.

At the same time, the shackles in Makino's body broke one after another and unsealed her past life's memory. Each memory caused her body to tremble instinctively.

"Ah!" She groaned, wanting to forget these painful memories.

"Makino..." Toki was worried. However, she quickly calmed down because Huo Yuhao wouldn't harm her sister. 

Makino gritted her teeth and raised her right hand, causing white flower petals to materialize and spread in the air. Each petal exudes a breath of life, merging and layering one above another, becoming a beautiful white rose with faint emerald and golden luster.

"Are you okay?" asked Huo Yuhao.

"I'm fine, Yuhao-sama. Just feeling a bit nauseous," Makino replied. She sighed and rubbed her forehead gently.

Then, Makino looked down at Huo Yuhao's shadow and noticed countless eyes staring back at her. She felt a cold shiver in her spine and stumbled back.

Huo Yuhao saw the utter fear in Makino's eyes and said, "Don't be afraid. They are not your enemies." 

"They won't bite you."

Makino nodded hesitantly. After all, the feeling of being gazed back by the abyss wasn't good. She felt like her poor heart would drop to the ground at any moment. 

"Haha, are you shocked? They are my Eternal Shadow Army." Huo Yuhao added with a chuckle. "They have accompanied me to another world for years, helping me kill countless enemies and conquering a universe."

"What do you think? Wanna learn? I think your Martial Soul is quite suitable for learning this power." 

Everyone who heard Huo Yuhao's words 'unconsciously' swallowed their saliva. They didn't expect Huo Yuhao to be this generous.

"Yes, we are fated." Eluxia giggled, reaching for Makino's head and rubbing it gently.

"Closed disciple!" Huo Yuhao's mouth twitched. How could he not know what Eluxia meant? 

Accepting a closed disciple means Eluxia would pour everything into Makino and wouldn't teach the Light Necromancer to anyone else.

"I accept," Makino replied firmly.

Without waiting for Huo Yuhao's reply, Eluxia grabbed Makino and dragged her into the Necromancer's Demi-Plane.
