My Love Debts Are Everywhere!

Chapter 505: The Tension of Two Women

"Hahaha... Even after thousands of years, you haven't changed, Dragon Ancestor."

A ray of purple light suddenly appeared beside Leon, expanding before finally taking the shape of an extraordinarily beautiful woman with a graceful and gentle demeanor.

Leon stared in shock. "Miranda?"

Miranda turned to him with a soft smile. "Good afternoon, Master. I apologize for the surprise."

"Hahaha! It really is you, Lady Miranda!" The dragon ancestor burst into laughter, its thunderous voice echoing through the vast hall.

"I had a feeling it was you. Your aura is unmistakably familiar," it said, unable to hide its delight.

Miranda chuckled, covering her mouth with the back of her hand. "I must admit, I'm quite surprised you can still sense my aura after more than seven thousand years."

Given the dragon ancestor's close friendship with Demon Emperor Amon Crimson, it was only natural that it knew Miranda well. In fact, their bond had been rather deep.

Meanwhile, Athena, who had been silently observing, raised an eyebrow.

"So, she's Miranda—the spirit of the Great Sword of Chaos, huh?" she murmured to herself.

Her ancestor had once told her about Miranda, so she was somewhat familiar with her.

However, what truly upset and angered her was the realization that this woman had been residing inside Leon's body all this time!

That meant she had been watching their every interaction!

Even worse, it also meant that every time Leon bathed or was undressed, Miranda could see him—an idea that instantly made Athena grit her teeth in fury.

She had already, though reluctantly, accepted Arshley, Luna, and Liliana as Leon's partners. But she had no intention of allowing any more unfamiliar women to get close to him.

If anyone dared to try, she wouldn't hesitate to eliminate them!

Had it not been for her ancestor's excitement, she would have already confronted Miranda about this.

"By the way, Lady Miranda, there's something I've been meaning to ask," the dragon ancestor spoke up. "Where have you been all this time? Did Demon Emperor Amon Crimson seal you away somewhere to await the arrival of the Fated One?"

Miranda gave a small nod. "Yes, Demon Emperor Amon Crimson sealed me on the other side of the Hall of Glory, instructing me to await the arrival of the Fated One."

After saying that, she cast a gentle glance at Leon beside her.

"So, you really were sealed away, huh? That guy was truly cruel to leave you alone for thousands of years," the dragon ancestor remarked with a hint of regret.

Being sealed for such an unimaginable length of time was a torment that few could endure—even he himself would struggle with it.

Miranda, however, merely smiled. "At first, I was indeed furious. The moment I was sealed, all that awaited me was endless, unbroken solitude. But over time, I came to realize that my former master made the right choice."

Turning toward Leon, she linked her arm with his and leaned her head against his shoulder in a spoiled manner.

"After all, now that I'm free, I finally get to meet the master I've been waiting for. In the end, my patience was rewarded," she added happily.

Athena's expression darkened at Miranda's display of affection. Her eyes gleamed with barely concealed murder as she glared at the woman.

"Hmm?"

Noticing the hostile gaze, Miranda looked over and blinked in curiosity.

"Are you Athena Hellness, the granddaughter of the Dragon Ancestor? My apologies—I didn't notice your presence earlier. Allow me to introduce myself. I'm Miranda, the spirit of the Great Sword of Chaos," she said with a smile.

The corners of Leon's lips twitched at the sight. He sneaked a glance at Athena, whose expression had darkened even further.

He knew this was it—the moment Athena would explode!

Just as he was about to step in and calm her down, Athena's expression suddenly returned to normal.

"Nice to meet you," she replied with a pleasant smile.

Yet behind that smile lurked a coldness sharp enough to cut.

The two women faced each other, both smiling, but anyone with keen eyes could sense the palpable tension between them.

"Ahem! Perhaps we should move somewhere more suitable to talk?" The Dragon Ancestor cleared its throat, breaking the tense atmosphere.

Seizing the opportunity, Leon quickly added, "Yes! Let's find a more comfortable place to continue this conversation."

Since both had spoken, Athena and Miranda reluctantly withdrew their gazes, each letting out a cold snort.

But then, Miranda frowned in confusion. "How strange... What's happening to me? Why am I acting like this?"

What had just happened baffled her. She had no idea why she had reacted that way, but for the first time ever, she had felt something entirely foreign—anger.

It was an emotion completely unfamiliar to her.

After all, she was a spirit, not a living being like a human, demon, or dragon.

Moreover, unlike the spirit race, she was the weapon spirit of one of the two most powerful swords in existence—the Great Sword of Chaos.

By all logic, she shouldn't even be capable of such emotions. Yet, no matter how much she tried to deny it, the feeling was undeniably there.

*Buzz!*

The Dragon Ancestor's massive form suddenly radiated a dazzling black light.

As the glow intensified, his enormous body began to shrink, gradually transforming until he took the shape of a tall, middle-aged man.

Standing at nearly two meters, he bore a few visible wrinkles and streaks of white intertwined with his black hair—a testament to the countless years he had endured.

Two sturdy black horns protruded from his head, adding to his powerful and majestic presence.

Leon couldn't help but feel a sense of awe. It was the first time he had seen a dragon—aside from Athena—take on a humanoid form.

The Dragon Ancestor smiled as he stepped forward. "Then, let's go."

With that, he pressed his index and middle fingers together, and in an instant, he vanished—taking Leon, Athena, and Miranda with him.

...

In a circular pool large enough to hold ten people, a man floated motionless at its center.

He was unconscious, his body bare except for a pair of shorts covering his lower half.

Moments later, his eyelids fluttered before snapping open.

"Ughh..." He groaned as a sharp pain shot through his head. "Where... am I?"

With a slight frown, he turned his head left and right, only to realize he was in a vast pool.

Slowly, the pain dulled. He shifted upright, ensuring his head remained above the water's surface.

Then, he swam to the edge, climbed out, and sat on the pool's rim.

As his gaze fell upon the water, his eyes widened, and his heartbeat quickened.

"Blood? How... is that possible? Wasn't this just water?" He muttered in disbelief.

But before he could make sense of it, footsteps echoed behind him, followed by a man's cold voice.

"So, you've finally awakened from your long slumber, Guren Leywn?"
