Chapter 502: Going to Eryuentium - Part 1
Arshley was slightly taken aback before turning her chair back to its original position.
"Come in," she said calmly.
*Clack!*
The door slowly opened, revealing Luna's elegant figure in a casual dress that accentuated her slender, graceful curves.
She stepped inside with a faint smile. "I thought you were working, but it seems you're just relaxing."
"I just finished my work and decided to take a break," Arshley replied casually. "So, what brings you here?"
Luna stopped in front of the desk and handed over a black letter adorned with gold patterns. "I ran into a guard on my way here. He said there was a letter from the Demon Empire for you. Since I wanted to see you anyway, I figured I'd deliver it myself."
Arshley's eyebrows lifted slightly at the sight of the letter, but she remained silent as she took it.
"Thank you," she said, her tone softening.
Luna gave a small nod before settling into the chair beside her.
Arshley stared at the letter for a moment before finally opening it. As she read, the furrow in her brow slowly faded, replaced by a smile she couldn't suppress.
"So that's how it is..." Arshley giggled, folded the letter back up, and placed it in the desk drawer.
"If I may ask, what does it say?" Luna rested her chin on her palm, gazing at Arshley with curiosity.
Arshley turned to her and explained, "This letter is from Demon Emperor Liliana—no, it should be Demon Empress now. She informed me that Brother Leon will begin his journey to meet the hidden races tomorrow. Since this letter was written yesterday, that means he's leaving today."
Luna's eyes widened. "He's leaving today? Then..."
She trailed off, swallowing the rest of her words as sadness clouded her beautiful face.
"That means we won't see him again anytime soon, right?" Her usually cold voice now carried a rare hint of weakness and loneliness.
Back then, she had confessed her feelings to Leon, and they had officially become a couple. But just a month or two later, Leon had finished his business and left with Athena.
For Luna, whose relationship had only just begun, the feeling of loneliness had been inevitable.
And now, Leon had set out to meet the hidden races—a journey that could take years, perhaps one, two, or even five.
Realizing the weight of her words, the smile on Arshley's lips slowly faded. "Yes, you're right. Since Brother Leon has already begun his journey, it will take a very long time, and we likely won't see him for quite a while."
The two exchanged glances before letting out a resigned sigh. But they quickly composed themselves.
Leon's journey was something that couldn't be stopped.
Apart from being his duty, this journey was Leon's first step toward saving the world from the Evil God in the future.
"Even though Brother Leon has already left and won't be back anytime soon, we must not show weakness. Our role is to support him from behind," Arshley said firmly.
Luna couldn't help but chuckle before nodding in agreement. "You're right, Arshley. We can't be a burden to him. So let's work together to give him the best support possible."
Their eyes met, and a shared understanding was reflected in their smiles.
...
"Hah… Hah… Hah…"
Leon panted, sweat dripping down his bare body.
His gaze locked onto Athena, who lay atop him, equally breathless.
Her flawless, alluring figure was on full display. If not for the exhaustion following their intense intercourse, his blood would have been boiling again, and his insatiable desire would have been reignited.
"Are you satisfied now?" Leon asked weakly, brushing aside the strands of hair clinging to her damp forehead.
Athena's lovely face flushed slightly, but she made no effort to hide her emotions and gave a small nod.
"I'm very satisfied… It feels so good and refreshing," she whispered softly, burying her face against Leon's broad chest.
Like a spoiled kitten, she nuzzled into him, occasionally inhaling his intoxicating scent.
Leon simply smiled, raising a hand to run through his slightly disheveled red hair.
To be honest, it wasn't just Athena who struggled to contain her desire—Leon felt the same.
After all, they had been apart for quite some time, and denying how much he had missed her would have been a lie.
But unlike Athena, who let herself be swept away by her emotions, Leon had managed to hold back, intending to wait until they arrived at the inn.
Leon hadn't expected that with just a little stimulation, Athena would lose control so easily. The thought left him feeling both guilty and embarrassed.
The two lingered in their intimacy, savoring the moment at a leisurely pace.
With a barrier protecting them from any outside interference or monster attacks, there was no need to rush.
After fifteen minutes, they finally got up and began dressing.
Fortunately, despite the intensity of their intercourse, their clothes remained intact. Otherwise, it would have been quite troublesome.
Once they were fully dressed, Athena snapped her fingers, and the protective barrier instantly vanished.
She turned to Leon and said nonchalantly, "Let's go, then."
Leon smiled and nodded. "Okay!"
*Buzz!*
Athena leaped into the air, her body suddenly glowing with a brilliant red light.
Moments later, the light faded, revealing the majestic form of an enormous red dragon standing in her place.
Without hesitation, Leon jumped up, landing gracefully on her head before sitting cross-legged.
*Whoosh!*
With a powerful flap of her wings, Athena lifted off the ground and soared toward the horizon.

Winter's arrival didn't just blanket human and demon territories—it covered the entire world.
Delicate snowflakes drifted from the sky, coating the ground and trees in a pristine white layer.
At that moment, a massive figure streaked across the sky, cutting through the clouds and falling snow.
"Tsk! Tsk! Tsk! The view below is truly breathtaking," Leon murmured, admiring the endless white landscape stretching beneath him.
Though the fog blurred some details, he could still see everything clearly.
"I really hate winter." Athena's irritated voice echoed in his mind, catching Leon off guard.
"Why do you hate it? Isn't winter supposed to be peaceful and pleasant?" he asked curiously.
Athena rolled her eyes, her tone laced with annoyance. "That might be true for some, but not for me. Winter brings hardship to my people—the annual harvest suffers, and besides, we dragons have bodies that are extremely sensitive to the cold. That's why I despise it."
Leon sensed the helplessness in her words, making him chuckle.
"I never expected Her Majesty, the mighty Dragon Empress, to hold such a grudge against a season. It truly opened my eyes," Leon teased while gently rubbing her head.
"Hmph! Now you know." Athena snorted coldly.
Leon simply laughed and said nothing more.
What do you think?
