Million dollar bride

Chapter 13: Kiss me

At David's corporate building, he is busy with files and documents that need his signature.
The phone screen suddenly lit up with a beep sound. He glanced over and picked it up. He reached out and stroked a straight line. Message from Maria. 'I'll be back tomorrow, nine in the morning. You remember to pick me up at the airport.'
He exhaled and replied. 'Ok.'
David continues to work but he is not focused. He thought of Ella and called her, but she didn't pick up. Because Ella's phone was in her bag while she was learning Samba dancing.
So, David texted Ella. 'What are you doing?'
Ella didn't know the phone was ringing and there was a message. She practiced hard. At five o'clock in the afternoon, she and Rika stopped practicing. They took a taxi back to the villa before dinner time at six o'clock.
When she took her phone out of her bag, Ella realized that there were two missed calls and a text message from David.
She dialed David's number.
With just one ring, David answered the phone and asked. "Where are you, why don't you answer my phone?"
“I had a dance class with Rika so I didn't know you were calling. I finished school and was on my way home.” Ella tries to comfort him.
“Do you need me to pick you up?” David asked softly.
"No need, I'll take a taxi with Rika," Ella said.
"Okay, see you later," David said and hung up the call.
Rika turned to Ella, smiling. “Did your husband call?”
"Yes," Ella replied.
"You are happy. My brother is a dry and rigid person, he has never shown any loving feelings to anyone, not even me and my mother. You're the first girl he calls at work."
Ella was embarrassed, her face red.
“Why are you embarrassed? Have you never shown him any affection?" Rika blinked.
“Um… just sometimes.”
"He doesn't care about love matters but he chose you, proving you have a special place in his heart." Rika blurted out.
Ella thought. 'Is what Rika said true? Does David like me? No, how could that happen? We are the only husband and wife in the contract. Forget it, after three years we'll part.'
Anthony's Mansion.
After showering, Ella changed into comfortable clothes, sat on the sofa, and put medicine on her ankle. It was hard to learn to dance, but she didn't give up.
David is the perfect man, Ella doesn't want him to lose face by being with a mean girl like her.
Ella looked at the wall clock. It was six o'clock in the evening, and David still came home at this time every day. Thinking of David, he opened the door.
She limped over to him, helping him remove his tie and coat. A wife often does that to her husband. Although not officially husband and wife, she still must take care of him.
"Are you tired?" Ella asked, in her hand David's tie and coat.
"A little. But when I go home to see you, I'm not tired anymore." David looked at her intently.
Ella lowered her head, avoiding David's gaze. “Let's take a shower and then we'll go to the dining room. I have prepared hot water for you.” She put her tie and coat in the laundry basket.
Seeing her limp, David asked in surprise. "What's wrong with your leg?"
Ella turned around. “I wear heels to dance lessons so my ankle hurts a bit. Because I'm not used to it."
David helped her sit down on the sofa. He put the medicine on her leg and asked. “Why did you learn to dance?”
“I am your wife now. A general manager like you often attends parties, there will be dancing at parties, I don't want you to be embarrassed when you see that I can't dance. So I…” Ella stopped talking.
David's heart softened. He was touched, he said. “You don't have to do those things for me. Just be yourself.”
"I'm fine. Do not worry. I feel bad about myself for not being gifted. I also learned some other things: cooking or makeup.” Ella pursed her lips tightly.
“But don't do too much, it will affect your health. I don't want you to get sick." David gently advised.
"I know. You should go take a shower." Ella stood, shoving David's shoulder toward the bathroom.
As she turned, suddenly David hugged her from behind. He rested his chin on her hair.
Ella froze. She could feel his breath on the back of her neck. The feeling was so warm, that she closed her face a little and then opened it.
"What is the matter with you? Aren't you happy today?" Ella paused before speaking. She stood still, not moving.
"No."
“Why are you hugging me?”
“I want that. I love the feeling of holding you in my arms. It makes me feel comfortable and all the fatigue disappears. Just five minutes.”
Five minutes passed, and David let go of Ella and went to the bathroom.
Ella watched the bathroom door close, her hand on her chest. Her heart beat harder than usual.
'No, don't like him.' Ella reminded herself.
After dinner, as usual, David and Ella entered the study in the large bedroom.
While Ella was intently watching TV, David focused on a few documents. He looked up at Ella and asked. "What did you do today?"
“I went to the Spa with Rika and then took dance lessons, as I told you earlier.” Ella hugged the pillow, her voice excited.
“What dance did you learn?”
"Samba."
“How is it, is it difficult to learn?” David leaned back, focusing on Ella's story.
“It is not difficult. High heels hurt my feet.” Ella groaned a little.
David closed the computer and walked over to Ella. "If it's too difficult, don't study anymore."
Ella shook her head, resolute. "No. I will not give up.
David lifted Ella's injured leg onto his lap. She asked in a surprised tone. "What did you do?" She knew the camera had been removed so there was no need to act between them.
"Quiet. Do not move." David started massaging Ella's feet.
"I can do it." Ella tried to pull her leg away but David used his force to hold her back.
"Don't move." He spoke in a cold voice that made her shiver slightly. His face became expressionless.
Ella let David massage her feet as she turned her attention to the television.
Moments later, when Ella was motionless, David raised his eyes and asked. “When is the next dance class?”
"Tomorrow. And I will study until the afternoon.” Ella answered while watching a movie on TV. She continued. “Do you think I should be carried? I've been a bit fat lately."
"No. I see you are still the same as before. Don't change a thing, I like your current friend. You don't have to try to change to fit me." David looked deeply into Ella's eyes.
She was confused when she met David's passionate gaze. She pulled her legs back and turned off the television. “I… I'm going to sleep.” She walked over to the bed and covered herself with the blanket.
David returned to his desk. He wasn't focused and kept looking at Ella. He doesn't want to work in this situation. Suddenly, the room lights went out. Ella sensed the man climbing onto the bed. An arm was placed on her waist.
Ella felt suffocated. She tried to regulate her breathing. David placed a kiss on her earlobe. His lips brushed over hers, pleased to feel her whole body tremble slightly.
While a few inches away from Ella's lips, David suggested. “Kiss me.” His words are as gentle as
Eyelashes quivering, Ella clutched at the collar of his shirt. She looked at him shyly for a moment then obediently closed her eyes and pressed her lips to his.
The hesitant kiss made David impatient, he attacked quickly, sucking her sweet lips. The passionate kiss didn't stop. His hand held hers as if he wanted to melt her into his body.
The kiss is endless, don't know how long it will last...
It wasn't until Ella couldn't breathe anymore that David let go of her. Looking at her red face, looking so adorable, he couldn't help but smile. And he held her to sleep until morning.
