00214. Stealing a page from A.I.M.

Ezekiel glanced over Emil who was missing his right leg from the knee down along with his right hand. Ezekiel smiled at the man as he asked, “As long as you pass the on boarding process… So what happened?”

Emil frowned slightly as he said, “We were given bad intelligence and ended up stuck in a meat grinder.”

Emil then shook his head as he added, “Lost a few of my men and the rest look as bad as me or worse.”

Ezekiel nodded before he asked, “Think any of your men would be interested in a job?”

Emil shrugged as he said, “Most of them are lucky to be alive, I doubt if they will be able to do much after they recover… I was the least injured of the survivors.”

Ezekiel nodded in understanding before he said, “I'll have someone check with them and I'll also have someone come interview you soon.”

Emil spread his arms wide as he said in a sarcastic tone, “As you can see, I am incredibly busy. So you don't need to rush anything.”

“Oh, if that's the case I'll send them over once you are discharged from the hospital.” Ezekiel said with a smirk as he created a portal.

Emil's eyes widened and was about to say something when Ezekiel disappeared through the portal that snapped close a moment later. Emil let out a sigh as he said to himself, “I hope it doesn't take that long.”

Much to Emil's relief, Ezekiel sent someone to meet him a couple of hours later. He also had people look into the other members of his team that were still alive. At the same time it also gave Ezekiel the idea to copy Aldrich Killian's idea from the Ironman movie. While he didn't want a cult of suicide bombers, trained ex military members could potentially be decent recruits.

Sure they would have to be vetted and go through the evaluation process, but it would be an easy way to get more people. While they had the ninjas, valkyries, some members of the mystic arts, a random assortment of other people and a few thousand people from Shield, that wasn't enough. Only about fourteen percent of Shield was cleared so far and of that fourteen percent, almost half of them were verified Hydra agents.

With that in mind, Ezekiel started another project called Valhalla, he would target ex military members from all over the world who were disabled. If they passed the first vetting process, he would send people to make contact with them and offer them potential jobs. If they agreed, they would go through the full process and physiological evaluation before being offered a job.

Once they accepted the job, they would go through the on boarding process as they waited for their new body. Ezekiel also made a very clear point to anyone who joined to show them that they wouldn't be protecting a single country or government anymore. No, their job was to protect the world and everyone on it. It was mostly to help unite the people from different countries together in a common goal. But after the first couple people were given new bodies, it didn't seem to matter.

Apparently giving a person the ability to walk, see or hear again did a lot more to gain loyalty. Of the first batch of people who were brought into the fold, Emil and the remnants of his team were part of the first batch a month after Ezekiel implemented the plan. They were also completely floored when they found out their training instructors were Cap, Bucky and Peggy.

They were in charge of the basic training everyone needed to go through to get used to their bodies. Once that training was done and their chakra stabilized, they would go on to ‘ninja’ school. They would be taught the basics from different ninja until they passed what amounted to a genin test. From there they could then go on missions and help out, but we're also given ample time to train and learn more ninja skills. But that hadn't happened just yet, since Emil and his men were just starting their first week of training.

Ezekiel was at Hulk's house in the middle of playing a fighting game with him when his phone started ringing. Ezekiel paused the game after he knocked Hulk's character away with a combo as he said, “Just a second, let me get this.”

Hulk watched Ezekiel pull out his phone and as he answered it he unpaused the game and went to attack Ezekiel’s character.

“Hello. Hey! No fair!” Ezekiel said as he attempted to block Hulk's attack.

Hulk laughed before he said in a smug tone, “You only ask for second.”

As his character started getting comboed the person on the phone asked, “Yo, what's going on?”

Ezekiel put the phone on speaker as he grabbed the controller with his other hand and said, “I’m in the middle of a game that someone decided to unpause because they were losing.”

“Hulk not losing!”

Ezekiel was able to get out of the combo and locked Hulk into a combo of his own as he said, “Oh yeah? Then what do you call… This!”

“K.O.” The TV said as Ezekiel smirked at Hulk before the person on the phone said, “Who's Hulk?”

Ezekiel glanced towards Hulk who was now pouting as he said, “A large green guy who likes to cheat at video games.”

“Hulk didn't cheat, Hulk did as you asked, pause for a second.”

“Uh huh… Sure. Anyways, what do you need Tony?”

“I finished the blue prints you wanted.”

“Great, I'll pick them up the next time I stop by.” Ezekiel said as he prepared to hang up the phone.

“You don't want to get them today?” Tony asked in an anxious tone.

Ezekiel raised an eyebrow as he asked, “Not really… Why is something going on?”

“Uhhh, no… But it would be nice if you came by today.”

Ezekiel glanced at Hulk as he asked, “I'm kinda hanging out with someone today.”

“Bring them along.” Tony said without hesitation.

“You wanna go meet a friend of mine?”

Hulk nodded his head before he said, “Okay, but Hulk want food.”

“What kinda name is Hulk… And why does he talk in third person?”

Ezekiel smirked as he said, “You'll see when we get there...”

Ezekiel hung up the phone and stood up before he said, “When we get there you need to be careful with your strength, his house is built for normal people.”

Hulk nodded before he glanced down at himself and asked, “Hulk look okay?”

Ezekiel took in Hulk's outfit which was a pair of cargo shorts and a XXXL Hawaiian shirt. He nodded before he said, “You look perfect, but maybe wear your sandals.”

Hulk nodded before he headed over to the front door with Ezekiel and put on his sandals as Ezekiel created a slightly larger than average portal. Ezekiel stepped through it into Tony's workshop followed by Hulk. As the portal closed JARVIS said, “Welcome Ezekiel and guest, Mr. Stark is currently in the living room with Miss Potts and Morgan.”

“Thanks JARVIS. This is Hulk, Hulk this is JARVIS.” Ezekiel said as he pointed to a camera.

Hulk looked at the camera and tilted his head slightly as he asked, “Why is JARVIS a camera?”

Ezekiel started to chuckle as JARVIS said, “Mr. Hulk, I’m an artificially made program. My name JARVIS stands for, "Just A Rather Very Intelligent System.”

“JARVIS is technically closer to a person than a program. The only thing he is missing is a body… Also just call him Hulk.”

Hulk nodded before he said, “Jarvis like Hal from that movie.”

Ezekiel created a new portal to the living room as he said, “Yeah, that’s a good way to think about it.”

Ezekiel walked through the portal followed by Hulk when he heard, “Holy shit!”

“Language, Tony!” Pepper said from the couch where she couldn’t see anyone as she played with Morgan.

Ezekiel turned to see Tony staring up at Hulk before he smirked and said, “Tony Stark, Hulk. Hulk, Tony Stark.”

“Hello, me Hulk.”

“I’m Hulk.” Ezekiel corrected.

Hulk nodded before he pointed at himself and said, “Hello, I’m Hulk.”

Tony glanced from Ezekiel to Hulk before he said, “I’m Tony.”

Pepper finally stood up from the couch and turned around as she said, “Holy…” Before she stopped when she glanced down at Morgan.

“Hulk, that’s Pepper and Morgan.”

“Hello.” Hulk said with a smile that made him look a little scary.

Pepper nervously glanced at Hulk as she said, “It’s nice to meet you.”

Ezekiel waved off her nervousness as he said, “He just looks a little scary, he’s actually a giant kid.”

“Hulk no kid.” Hulk said with a huff.

Ezekiel rolled his eyes as he said, “You’re not even a year old yet. You’re still a kid and even act like one sometimes.”

“He’s not even a year old?!?” Tony asked as Pepper nodded in agreement to the question.

Ezekiel shrugged as he said, “It’s a long story and pretty much classified. But in simple terms, he was born from an experiment within the last… What? Five or six months? I’ll figure out the exact date later so we can celebrate his birthday next year.”

Hulk nodded as he said, “Hulk want cake.”

“I would like cake or I want some cake.”

Hulk frowned slightly but nodded before Tony smiled and said, “So it looks like me and Pepper aren’t the only ones with a new kid.”

Ezekiel waved his hands in front of himself as he said, “Hulk is not my kid. But he is a good friend even if he cheats at fighting games.”

“I didn’t cheat!”

“Whatever helps you sleep at night…” Ezekiel said before he turned back to Tony and asked, “So what did you really want?”

Tony pulled out a flash drive and handed it to Ezekiel as he said, “Here are the blueprints.”

Ezekiel took the flash drive and stored it away before Tony asked, “You think you could do that disguise thing and send us to Genosha for a few hours?”

Ezekiel shook his head as he said, “You know you could have just asked and I would have done it for you. You didn’t need to finish the blueprints because of that.”

Tony smiled as he said, “Sure, but they were already done… Also you’ll need to portal us back later.”

Ezekiel pulled out a few henge seals as he said in a flat tone, “I know.”

He quickly henged Tony and Pepper before he moved towards Hulk and said, “Give me your arm.”

Hulk put out his arm and Ezekiel performed a henge on the Hulk which turned him into an exact copy of Alex Louis Armstrong from Fullmetal Alchemist. Hulk looked at his now white arm before he asked, “What did you do to I?”

“To me.” Ezekiel corrected before he pointed to the mirror in the entryway as he said, “I made you a disguise, I think you’ll like it.”

Hulk moved over to the mirror and stared at his reflection for a few moments before he turned back to Ezekiel and said, “Me bald now.”

Ezekiel shook his head as he said, “I’m bald now… Also, you’re not bald, it’s a disguise. You will change back to normal in a few hours.”

Hulk studied himself in the mirror again before he said, “Okay.”

Ezekiel glanced towards Tony as he asked, “Are you guys ready?”

Pepper nodded as she placed Morgan into a stroller before she said, “Yeah, whenever you are.”

Ezekiel created a portal and let Tony, Pepper and Hulk step through it before he followed. As the portal closed Tony asked, “Where are we?”

“Top floor of the casino. Me and Hulk are gonna go eat and I'm gonna grab a friend.” Said Ezekiel as he pointed towards the elevators and said, “Those go all the way to the ground floor.”

Tony waved it off as he said, “We’ll wait for you and join you for an early dinner.”

“Alright.” Ezekiel said before he went to one of the doors and knocked on it.

After half a minute Hela answered the door in her pajamas before she smiled and said, “Come on in.”

Ezekiel pointed over his shoulder as he said, “Actually I have some friends with me and we were gonna go eat. I wanted to see if you wanted to join us.”

Hela used a spell to change into a pair of jeans, a Gundam themed t-shirt and some shoes before she stepped outside. She noticed Hulk first and paused as she asked, “Why is…”

Ezekiel cut her off as he said with a laugh, “It’s just a disguise. It’s not really him.”

Ezekiel approached the others before he said, “Hela, this is Tony, Pepper and their daughter Morgan. The big guy here is Hulk.”

“Nice to meet you. I’m Hulk.”

Tony stuck out his hand and shook Hela’s hand as he said, “Nice to meet you.”

As Hela greeted Pepper, Tony turned towards Ezekiel as he said, “What’s up with you and people with only first names. Most of the people I’ve met from you have first names only… Besides Adrian and his wife.”

Ezekiel shrugged as he said, “Hulk chose his own name, as for Hela… She doesn’t like to use her last name that much.”

Tony thought about it for a moment before he shrugged and said, “Whatever, let's go eat.”

After they got into the elevator Tony asked, “Hela… That’s an interesting name, are you from Nordic descent by chance?”

“I’m Asgardian.”

“Asgardian?” Pepper and Tony asked at the same time.

“Yeah. She isn’t from Earth.” Ezekiel said it like it wasn’t a big deal.

Both Pepper and Tony’s eyes widened before Tony asked, “Not from Earth… As in, she’s an alien?”

“That's normally what, “Not from Earth means.” Ezekiel said with a smirk.

“But she looks… So human.” Pepper said as Tony nodded in agreement.

“You'll find that a lot of aliens look close to humans. Some look almost identical to humans, like Hela… She is far from human though and can easily destroy an army without much issue.”

Hela lips curled the tiniest bit at the compliment as the elevator stopped at the ground floor and the doors opened up. As they walked out Tony asked, “So how did you guys meet then?”

“Remember the exiled princess I told you about?”

Tony's eyes went wide and he quickly stood in front of Pepper and Morgan protectively before he said, “But you…”

Ezekiel cut him off as he said, “Which was partially true when I first met her. But after getting to know her I realized that wasn't exactly the case which is why she is now on Earth.”

“What wasn't the case?” Hela asked with a raised eyebrow.

“I believe I called you and I quote, “A homicidal maniac and a secretly exiled princess with daddy issues.”

Tony nodded quickly in agreement as Pepper's eyes widened before Hela said, “That… was pretty accurate at the time.”

“I know, right? But after getting to know you, it was pretty obvious you were only a secretly exiled princess with daddy issues.”

Hela huffed slightly but didn't comment any more as they continued walking through the casino that was almost finished and waiting to be officially opened. Hulk was apparently oblivious to the conversation as he looked around curiously. Tony shared a silent conversation with Pepper for a few moments before they came to some type of agreement before Tony said, “Since you're a friend of Ezekiel, you can consider me and Pepper a friend too.”

Hela glanced towards Tony and Pepper before she nodded slightly and said, “As long as Ezekiel considers you a friend, I will too.”

Tony frowned at the statement as Ezekiel chuckled slightly before he waved off her comment and said, “Don't mind her, she has issues making friends.”

They soon left the casino and headed over to the best restaurant in Genosha to eat. Throughout the meal and afterwards they all hung out together and chatted… Well Hulk was content to listen and eat a bunch as he looked around and enjoyed the cliff side view. Afterwards Ezekiel sent everyone home before he went to train magic with Tao and Agatha.
