"Did you forget my second order?"

"What? It’s the middle of the night. Do you want me to drop you off at the academy right now? And it’s the weekend, so no classes today."

"I know, but you better come to pick me up on monday. Remember, I want the exact same officers and vehicles. And you have to announce that I was innocent."

"Yeah, yeah. Now, what’s the third thing?" he asked with a frustrated look on his face.

"I want that wolf girl."

"Huh?" Dominic raised his brows in confusion. He was genuinely puzzled as to what Xavier was trying to say.

"Did you not hear me? I said I want the wolf girl who was in the cell next to mine. I took quite a liking to her when I watched her in the cell," Xavier licked his lips and made himself look like a douchebag.

He learned to do that from Lucas.

"That’s not possible." Dominic gave a dismissive hand. "That’s out of line. Ask for something that’s under my control."

"Why? Is she also an important prisoner?"

"No. She is just an extra. But still, it’s not—"

"Then do it, you motherfucking excuse of a cop!" Xavier shouted with a frowned face. "Just because I talked to you politely, do you think you can act out in front of me, huh?! I don’t care what you have to do, I want her."

’Dammit! He is getting on my nerves! I want to shoot him!’ Dominic calmed his hunger. ’Let’s not get hasty now. That time will come soon when he will be licking my cock. For now, I should do what he wants as long as he has the evidence. Once I get them, he is dead!’

I understand why Bull didn’t reveal it, but it doesn’t make sense for his crew members to not say a word.

They kept saying they didn’t know. Usually, they would confess to everything when your start the third degree torture, but they didn’t. Even when we killed one of their members, they kept saying they didn’t know. We also performed the test on their dead bodies and accessed their memories, they truly didn’t know a thing.

Oh, how heartless and cruel. The leader didn’t trust his team members enough to tell them the location of the treasure. Anyway, the girl probably doesn’t know anything either. She is also the youngest, so she was probably used as a helper and errand girl in their crew.

He slid the passkey to the officer and said, "Bring that girl."

A few minutes later, the wolf girl was brought into Dominic’s office. Her hands were cuffed and there was a small collar around her neck.

Xavier looked at her and immediately felt guilty for killing Bull. But at least, he could do something in his memory by freeing his crew member who stayed with him till the end.

"Take off her cuffs and collar." Xavier said to the officer.

The officer turned to Domonic for confirmation, and Dominic nodded.

"Are you sure about taking off that collar, though?" Dominic asked with a smirk on his face. "Lykaios are quite fierce, and that collar will help you subdue her when she gets frenzy. You can stun her when she doesn’t obey your command. You know what I mean." He winked.

Xavier looked at the wolf girl’s face, angry and filled with pain. Her eyes were filled with tears and her wolf ears were trembling.

Pzzt!

The officer unlocked the wolf girl’s cuffs. And as soon as he did, before he could unlock the collar, she jumped on Xavier and grabbed him by the collars. She glared at him with tears in her eyes and shouted, "Why did you have to kill him?!"

Xavier matched her eyes and responded calmly. "Wasn’t he the one who voted to kill me? I just happened to be lucky and managed to survive."

"Y-You could have shot him in the hand or leg to restrict his mobility! Why did you have to shoot him on the head?!"

"I don’t even know how to use a gun or aim. Everything happened in a spur of a moment. It was over in a flash. I don’t care if you blame me for his death, but I am innocent."

Seeing Xavier’s calm demeanor, she let go of him. She knew that Xavier was innocent, but she couldn’t accept Bull’s death like that.
