Chapter 243 – Horns Blare Out

Chapter 243 – Horns Blare Out

*** Elora ***

I don't know how my sister still hasn't made contact yet. Three days and nothing. I've got scouts several days away now, making sure that idiot doesn't get us all killed.

My opponent is getting desperate. Their nobles are practically deciding suicide just to kill my own, and unfortunately, working, two have now died before they could even get to Alzi. Our potion reserves are starting to get lower than I would like.

"Your Highness," Sedriresa says. "I just got a report saying Princess Lyrei has engaged in battle."

I don't waste a second shooting what little fire mana I have into the air. It has grown more under my extra class. I think Alzi has helped it grow as well.

I spur my horse to the flank, and Ioelena, Inanos, and Syro follow close behind. Geta moves swiftly to the front line. Aiming for the main pack.

Battlefields generally have a bunch of commoners posturing and clashing while being careful to avoid the nobles' fights that happen around them.

Today, we'll be charging right into them, looking to slaughter most of the army. If Geta does it right, most of the commoners should give up and flee. That is when I can come in and sweep up the running women.

I can move directly to the flank. Instead, I posture like I'm racing to Alzi for healing. Geta, with her flashy skills, should give me enough cover to slip off my horse and run through the flank. Unfortunately, Vanya was already pulled into a fight, so we won't get both flanks.

But one should be enough to get a decisive victory today.

*** Alzi ***

Outside horns blare as I remake some nobles' arms. After a few days, I've started to recognize some of the nobles in here often. They are normally warriors, so I can't really blame them for always being hurt. They are always getting close to the enemy.

I don't know if I should be surprised a wife of mine hasn't shown up or impressed, or maybe they are not joining the fight very much. I hope it isn't the last option. It would be really shitty of my family to just watch as others die for us.

Between Shimmer and Geta, they should have a lot of mana to do damage. Vanya, I didn't see much, but she seemed competent. Then Elyne worked with the Princess for a while, so she should be capable. The others were a bit smaller in the chest, so maybe they aren't as powerful, but Inanos must be naturally good at killing others.

Eh, that is for the Princess to worry about. This is more her fault and her family's than mine. Then I think I'm doing more than enough for the nobles.

"Stop spacing out, my Lady," Shyla says.

"I'm healing both of these nobles just fine," I say. It is still kind of early in the day so I'm not slammed with women yet. Giving me a bit of time to heal them and maybe get a few complaining bitches out of my hair.

More horns blare outside. This is something new for today and quite distracting. Shyla has been insistent that I don't do anything that will limit my hearing, so I just have to deal with them.

I hope these horns don't become commonplace. I may go insane if that happens.

"Lady Alzi," Kali says. "You should heal over their wounds. I think we are about to get a rush of nobles. The horns are normally used to signal the higher nobles where they need to go. One of the sides is finally committing to winning some ground."

"I guess," I say. "Are you two ok on mana? We can do the sex thing."

"I'm fine," Kali says.

"Me too Lady Alzi," Esta says. "But remember, if that is the only way to save a patient, you don't need to ask; just do it."

"I'll think about it," I say. I collect my leather strips after healing over the injuries and wait to see if this rush ever comes in.

...

It was the commoners first. They started to lay the stretchers down between the beds when a rush of nobles came in with a full range of injuries. Limbs, fungus, frostbite, burns, and even one suffering from a curse. Esta said that was likely from an item.

It was a mad rush to clean them up. The commoners were left to die as all the healers focused on keeping the nobles alive. I had to work on the fungus victims. Others could stabilize the rest.

"LADY ALZI," shakes me from deep focus. "PRINCESS ELORA IS POSIONED, AND WE CAN'T GET HER HERE!"

"Alzi..."

"I'm going," I say, cutting off Kali. "I've got a skill for it. I'm not letting her die with my kid inside her still." Fucking bitch thinks she doesn't have to give me my kid?

One of the Princess's maids is waiting with a horse. It isn't Sedriresa, but one I don't know.

"I don't know how to ride, so you'll have to take me," I say.

"Of course," the maid says. With my belly, I have to sit sideways and try to forget about the last time I was up on a horse.

I expect to move into the camp, but we push past the camp and to the right towards the battlefield.

"Why is she out there still?" I ask.

"More than just the Princess is poisoned," the maid says. "They are fighting to get the ability to bring them back, but they won't make it."

"How do we get to them then?"

"You have to fly over the battle."

These fucking bitches. 'You'll be safe, Alzi. Guards will be around your tent.'

"See the group over there? That is where the Princess and others are," the maid says. "Please save her. I know she hasn't done right for you, but she is a kind Princess. Better than the rest."

"Then the rest must be devils," I mutter before I slide off the horse and jump into the air. I circulate my mana to help stave off the cold. I forgot to put on my coat again.

No one seems to care about the glowing dragon above them. Flashes of mana are going on below me. Elora is face down in the snow in the middle of the circle. Ioelena and Inanos doing their best to lead the women. Bodies are starting to pile up on both sides as I dive down.

"Sorry, Princess," I say, my landing a bit heavy beside her. "You're going to get fucked in public. Blame the Goddesses for giving me the skill."

"Alzi, what the fuck are you doing here!" Syro says.

"Saving my damn kid. Now fucking focus so I can do my thing," I say, pulling the Princess's armor into my tattoo. I pull as little as possible, but I need access to her pussy, so a lot has to go.

I hike up my dress, split her legs, and start up my skill. Syro doesn't say anything else, but I do see multiple spells flying past me. One even bounced off the Princess's armor in front of me.

I start to feel strange, a little light headed and sleepy.

"Is the poison still in the air!"

"YES!" Syro shouts. "HENCE YOU NEED TO GET THE FUCK OUT OF HERE!"

I pour more mana into my skill, hoping to start clearing out the poison, but my eyes keep growing heavier.

How are they all staying awake?

"FUCK!" I scream out. A bolt of some bitch of a thing crashes through my wings and into my back. My eyes start to see red as the pain fills me.

I feel a strange sense come through my throat. A strange desire to let out a primal scream and with no reason to hold back I give out a shout to the heavens.

My body shakes with the roar I let out, and a healthy dose of magma flows into the sky like a fountain. Screams of pain join my roar.

A strange feeling of power courses through me as I keep fucking my owner yet again.

"Alzi," cuts through all the pain. The Princess. "Alzi, I'm sorry. I'm fine now."

"PRINCESS!" Syro shouts. "We need to get back. Alzi gave us an opening we need to take it before Azula comes here to finish us."

"Yes, yes," the Princess says, pushing herself out of the snow. "RETREAT!"

The commoners make a break for it. Every woman for themselves as they avoid my magma. The nobles are still fighting, but it seems both sides have now lost all their commoners. Some are pulling themselves out of the snow, the poison now cleansed from their body. I can't really tell who is who, I'm sure the colors all mean something but the women never make it to my tent with them still present.

"Alzi, stop looking around," the Princess says. "Come. You can't stay here."

The nobles seem to agree that the fight is over now. The mana in the air starts to dwindle as both sides retreat. They never stop looking at each other, making sure the gap between the two groups increases.

"Alzi, you need to get back to the medical tent," the Princess says. "Syro, my armor, please."

"I don't have it," Syro says.

"I have it," I say, pulling it out. I'm sorry, but I don't know how to put it directly on you."

"Later," the Princess says, pulling the armor into her ring instead of putting on a skirt.

"Elora, you are also done for the day," Ioelena says. "You take Alzi back to the tent directly. I'll take over for now, and when Geta or Vanya get free, they can take over. You need sleep."

"Alzi."

"Sleep," I say. "Don't you ever dare to get my child that close to death ever again?"

"Ok, dear."

The maid is waiting for us with an extra horse somehow. Elora pulls me up onto it and directs us back to the healer's tent.

She whispers apologizes on the way back as I fight back my tears. I got attacked, poisoned, and had public sex, and my day still isn't done.

"Alzi," the Princess says as I get off the horse. "Thank you. I'm sorry. I didn't think you cared about me or our child."

"I care about our child," I say, walking into the hall of death the tent surely has become.
