Chapter 211 – I Can Never Get a Date

My babies were mainly asleep during my visit, but it was nice just watching them. If only I had my Mommy with me, looking over her grandchildren.

I need to get Shyla to teach me how to knit better so I don't get insulted again. If my babies wore my stuff, they would be bullied instead of me, and I can't let that happen. I can't let their useless Mother hold them back.

"My Lady, dinner is ready," Aurora says.

"Ok, are the kids going to be there?" I ask.

"No, they are too young. They normally start joining dinner when they are three," Aurora says, walking me through the halls. Did she memorize a map of the house while she was sick or something?

"Stupid. Why is the family excluding some of the family?"

"Rules that you do not care for," Aurora says. "It is just one meal, and normally, the wives will take turns eating with the kids to set an example, or the older kids will show them along with the maids. For lunch, they can join with any group that wishes to eat with them. Only a few houses will have a group that does not wish to eat with the kids outside special lunches with guests, which you will also call stupid."

At least she knows. Saves me some thoughts.

Inside the dining room is the crowd of wives. The rest must have made it here after lunch. I'm glad they thought of saying hi. Well, maybe they shouldn't with the babies sleeping. But they could have sent a maid to tell me or something.

"Hello, Elora Elaqwyn house!" Fluvis shouts. "I am happy you are all here for the short stay."

"Thank you for hosting us. You have done so much for our house already," the Princess says. Her hair is now tidy. "Please take the head of the table. You deserve it for bringing my Husband and I to safety."

"Thank you, your Highness. For the sake of my feet, I will not argue," Fluvis says with a small bow.

Once their little play was done and the Duchess sat down, we could file into our seats. Lottie and Estrella were to Fluvis's left, and the Princess and I were to her right. Isda is still absent, and Geta took the spot next to me for some reason. I felt it was Elyne who was higher up. Shimmer is all the way at the end.

"Welcome, everyone. I know there are a number of pregnancies to announce, and one coming in a terrible manner. But I would love for them to be announced if possible," Fluvis says.

"I can go first," the Princess declares. "I am pregnant with a daughter. Our great Husband is the father."

Oh, do they always give the father out? Are they allowed to lie about the father or omit them?

"I am also pregnant with a child from Alzi," Lottie shares.

I wonder if one of my wives got plowed on their mission and will need to share. But all the eyes turn to me.

"What is the point of this announcement if you all know who is pregnant? Why is my news getting shared with everyone?" I ask. "Your husband got raped and impregnated by that bitch."

"We didn't share the news, Lady Alzi," Fluvis says. "Just enough of us knew and started looking at you; everyone else followed us. I'm sorry if you wished to not share the news. Children are always a gift, but that is our experience. Your pregnancies have always been a painful experience, something I added to. Sorry."

"Whatever," I say. The Princess is kind enough to give my hand a small squeeze and an apologetic smile. "I get to see them now. So it is better than the others."

"You are welcome to see them whenever, Lady Alzi," Fluvis says. "I also want to congratulate All the women who bravely fought back the monsters. Completing their missions and trusting me and the me to get their wife back. Thank you. I know most missed Princess Elora and Lady Alzi coming back. But I would put that more on me making a speedy recovery rather then you failing. I hope they can see it that way as well. You all came in tired and hungry, so I'll stop talking and let dinner begin."

A few maids burst out of the kitchen and start placing the silver serving dish down. Fluvis immediately grabs a bite to eat so we can all start.

"Alzi, you said the little one with yellow hair was the first, right?" Estrella says.

"Yes, I don't remember the order after that," I say, starting the salad. If they want to speed this along, couldn't they bring more than one course at a time? "Little too busy."

"Oh, we understand. We are surprised you remember the first one. The girls have been wonderful to have. I know you've gotten to see them all, but they are happy and healthy," Estrella says. "If a bit greedy eaters. That is better than not eating."

"Yes, I can see they are well cared for," I say. I guess with so many, they kind of have to use maids. I'm likely always going to have problems with that unless I follow the old limits the Princess set for me. But I just wish the wives did more. They do have them grouped up, so they all are by a wife.

I need to come up with a good plan for that. I'm going to have a lot of kids to watch and love.

"Shimmer told me most Duchesses have many more wives. How do you manage with just three of you?" I ask. I can be a good guest.

"Bit of luck, really," Fluvis says. "It is a bit easier to handle the sea with just a few wives. My Mother also has a small harem. Estrella can use wind and Lottie lightning. Add in my water and you have almost all you need for a fight on the sea. I got lucky with how strong these two are, and I got the Goddess of the Sea's attention. All of that lets me command a dangerous navy that lets us trade over the sea easily. Lowering prices for our goods, which I can tax some. Over the ground, you need to fight a lot more, and there are a lot more people that can effectively fight. For instance, in our fight, we had a mercenary that used poison, and the only way to attack with poison was the air, which we had a lot of wind mages to push away from us. So all she could do was force us to keep using our cannons and own mana. Till she ran and let us board. On the ground, you have traps and can better travel, not being forced onto large ships to move about."

"So you three work well together?"

"Nearly perfect. We are all people and will do things others don't expect. But, yes, we do work well," Lottie says.

"Like running into my room and..."

"Lady Alzi," Lottie says.

"I would like to know what my wife is asking about," the Princess says. Lottie sweating a bit.

"I did not force you to do anything," Lottie says.

"Elora, we are looking to marry you again, right?" Fluvis says. I guess she heard the full story or knows it will make her look bad. "Mother has heard about Lady Alzi now and is happy with your progress. I think it would be nice to join Lady Alzi's Mother and friends in one wedding. Don't you think Alzi? I can see about having your Mother move in with me to help with the kids and give you a chance to visit both at once."

"Yuki and Nakuma have Alzi's mother living with them right now."

"Those two would be perfect to add. Alzi and Yuki will get the Crazy Kitsune under control then we will have a direct line to one of the realms. I know they both said no, but things are different now, aren't they?" Fluvis says, shifting her belly around. "Don't let your hurt feelings ruin a good thing for Lady Alzi and the Queendom, Princess Elora."

"We can work on that then," the Princess says with a forced smile on her tired face.

I didn't think this would happen, but I have to look like a genius now. I'm marrying into the family with sixteen of my kids and getting her to place the wedding with my lovers. Seventeen kids; Lottie has one on the way.

Now I just need this collar off. Yuki can work on wrestling the control from Elora maybe? I can talk with her about what to do once we are married, and I can fall asleep in her tails. Cute little Mai and her tail dancing around. Then my Mommy.

But I still lack that stupid date. How do I get that?

Fluvis mentioned her Mother. Do I need to get her pregnant, maybe?

"Do you have any other family Fluvis?" I ask. I doubt saying I'll fuck your mom will help me.

"An older sister," Fluvis says. "Sweet thing that Mother pushed till she broke. Sis has been working on fixing that damage for a long time. Hoping she'll be better soon."

"Is it something I could help with? I seemed to have helped Aurora through her issues, but they do sound very different," I say. Look at me stumbling into things. I doubt I can do anything, but I could try and maybe put a baby in her? They all seem to love that little trick.

"She has seen a lot of healers. But if we get the chance I would love you to meet her and see what she wants to do," Fluvis answers, giving me the slimmest chance. But maybe by then, I can heal her or something.

Wait, I don't have a date for this either!

How can I never get a fucking date for anything important! I have a date for when I have to do everything I hate, but everything I want ends up being 'sometime in the future.'

Has to be some Goddess screwing this up for me.

"Dear, is this really ok?" Shimmer asks. "I don't want you to be bribed into silence like this."

"Yes, it was a rough start, but I was happy to put a kid in her," I say. It was nice getting revenge that wasn't putting a stupid amount of kids in a woman. I think ice bitch is the only person that has successfully hated it, and that's cause I'm killing her.

"Don't worry, Lady Shimmer," Fluvis says with a forced smile. "I'll ask my dear wife about it later."
