As the Flying Feather approached Egghead Island, everyone except Robin—who had been here before—was captivated by its bizarre shape.

This island, directly under the World Government's jurisdiction, was shrouded in a dense fog that gradually dissipated, revealing its mysterious veil.

Above the lush, vibrant forest, a massive, broken egg-shaped mountain rock loomed, supported by steel rings that encircled it.

The architecture was unlike anything seen in this era, a testament to its futuristic design.

"This is known as the city of the future, a super metropolis shaped entirely by Vegapunk," Colt explained with a smile, sharing some details about Egghead Island with the girls.

"What an incredible person..."

Fuyuki gazed at the iron city before her, recalling the geothermal device in the Land of Snow.

Her father, the king, had exhausted the kingdom's wealth just to bring a fleeting warmth and blooming flowers to their frozen land. How much more resources must this entire city consume?

This world was truly enviable.

"What's that? A puppet?"

Hinata suddenly widened her eyes, focusing on the sky above Egghead Island.

A black dot appeared in the air, rapidly approaching until it landed gracefully on the ground.

The others finally got a clear look at the newcomer.

It was a petite girl dressed in a sleek bodysuit and a short leather jacket.

"Long time no see, Miss Robin," the girl greeted, her voice cheerful.

Then she turned to Colt, her expression shifting to one of annoyance.

"Ugh, why are you here again? Such a hassle."

Colt rolled his eyes and ignored her, while Robin smiled warmly.

"Long time no see, Dr. Vegapunk."

"Huh?! Dr. Vegapunk? Wait, you're saying she's Vegapunk?"

Nami was stunned, confused by Robin's words.

The others shared her bewilderment, and Ino voiced the question on everyone's mind.

"But according to Colt, shouldn't Vegapunk be an old man who's been around for ages? How could he..."

"Don't overthink it. This is just one of the old man's eccentric hobbies. He's a bit of a figurine enthusiast," Colt explained with a smirk.

"This is just one of his avatars. He has five others like this."

If Colt were just an ordinary otaku, he'd probably be eager to get his hands on Vegapunk's technology to create a few waifu figurines for himself.

But now... he wasn't interested.

'Not at all! (Crying internally)'

The others finally understood, though they were still amazed.

Despite Vegapunk's obvious displeasure at Colt's arrival, he allowed Punk-02—Lilith, the avatar before them—to guide the group into the city of Egghead Island.

The interior was even more fantastical and mind-blowing than the exterior.

Mechanical whales glided through the sky, dreamy star trails crisscrossed above, weather cabins condensed clouds, and neon lights painted the air with vibrant colors.

Thousands of futuristic buildings stretched before their eyes, each one more dazzling than the last.

But every structure bore the unmistakable Punk logo.

"It's even more spectacular than it was two years ago," Robin remarked.

"Of course. In two years, my research has made tremendous progress," Vegapunk's avatar said proudly.

"This is the city of the future as I envision it."

"It's all fake," Colt interjected, not giving Vegapunk any face.

He pointed to a large black box on the ground.

"This is just a holographic projection. Don't be fooled."

Vegapunk glared at Colt but didn't argue.

"It will definitely become a reality in the future," a cute voice chimed in.

A giant girl, taller than Kaido, emerged from an open iron gate.

"Hi, I'm Punk-05—Atlas. Please put these on."

Atlas handed out black suits to Hinata and the others, deliberately skipping Colt.

Once they put them on, everyone's appearance transformed dramatically.

"I didn't know you had a talent for design," Colt said, his eyes lighting up.

He particularly liked Hinata's new look, just a tiny bit over the others.

"This was designed by Punk-06—York. She's the one who understands humans best."

"Give me a few more sets before I leave. And throw in some silk ones too." Colt issued demands instantly.

"You're such a pervert."

"No, after all I'm handsome and young."

Lilith glared at him. He was saying Vegapunk was the pervert, he was the one who came up with the clothes technically.

Atlas taught everyone how to use the boots to fly, while Colt and Lilith chatted nearby.

Once everyone had mastered the boots, they soared into the sky to meet Vegapunk's real body.

Colt could have taken everyone up himself, but he thought it would be more fun to let them experience the thrill of flying.

On the top floor of Egghead Island, Colt finally met the man himself—and two old acquaintances.

"Long time no see, Orochimaru, Kabuto."

That's right.

Two years ago, Colt had come to Egghead Island to help Robin locate Alabasta and gain access to its secrets.

Vegapunk had read all of Ohara's books and had even established contact with Robin's old friend, Jaguar D. Saul.

Before leaving, Colt had left Orochimaru and Kabuto—the only two huge scientific talents from the ninja world—here.

On one hand, they were to keep an eye on Vegapunk.

On the other hand, they were genuinely here to conduct research.

"Colt-kun, time has left no trace on you," Orochimaru said with a charming smile, his eyes filled with curiosity.

"Don't make me beat you up as soon as we meet." Colt shot him an annoyed look.

"As long as you don't kill me, you can hit me all you want. Just give me a drop of your blood afterward."

Though slightly intimidated, Orochimaru gritted his teeth and made his request.

This was a scientist's pursuit of the unknown and mysterious.

Colt shook his head helplessly, choosing to ignore him.

Although Orochimaru claimed to be fully subdued, he was still a handful to deal with.

Kabuto, meanwhile, bowed respectfully, knowing better than to interfere in the affairs between these two powerhouses.

Ignoring the eccentric Orochimaru, Colt turned to Vegapunk, who was watching him warily.

"Alright, Vegapunk. How many of the things I asked you to research are done? Let me see."
