Kiss Me if You Can

Vol. 2 Ch. 15

“Did you know that lions mate 500 times a week?”

That was the first thing Grayson said when he saw their faces. In short, it meant, “You beasts.” But Chase didn’t feel embarrassed, and Josh didn’t think anything of it. He was just busy eating the meal that was served.

Grayson had a bandage wrapped around one arm, because he had cracked it when he hit Tommy’s helmet. Josh realized why he had looked down at his arm several times while he was driving. After all, it was better to break a bone in your arm than to get hit in the temple.

As soon as the rut was over, they had to take a quick shower and get tested. After getting their blood drawn and running tests on a few machines, they were finally able to head to the restaurant. There was a huge amount of food waiting for them there. Sometimes, the amount of food would be overwhelming just looking at it, but Josh was different now. He immediately sat down and started eating.

The table was filled with food even more sumptuous than Thanksgiving. Josh fought as if he would eat the entire meal he would eat in his lifetime.

He emptied two jugs of milk by himself, ate half of a stuffed turkey, and even a giant apple pie. That wasn’t all. He ate steak, five patties on a pork chop, and a hamburger topped with cheese without stopping.

Chase, on the other hand, finished less than half of his meal and soon put his fork down. At first, he must have been hungry, because he ate quite quickly and ate quite a lot, but Josh was no match for him. Grayson and even Steward were astonished at how much Josh was eating.

“Have you ever been in an eating contest?” Steward asked, watching Josh finish a hot dog with a giant sausage in just three bites. Josh simply shook his head in response. He reached out and poured himself some juice after finishing another carton of milk. Grayson and Steward just looked at him with tired faces. Chase, meanwhile, had an incredibly loving smile on his face the whole time.

In the end, most of the food that had been filling the table went into Josh’s stomach. Finally, seeing him leaning back on his chair as if satisfied, Grayson asked the question he had been holding back.

“Why didn’t you go to the competition?”

He seemed to be dying of curiosity. Josh wiped his mouth with a napkin and answered.

“A lot of people eat like I do.”

“Huh.”

“No way.”

Grayson and even Steward shook their heads in denial, but Josh’s thoughts remained the same. After filling their bellies, they checked the test results.

“Good.”

Steward quickly scanned the printed results and declared.

“Very good.”

His smiling face was enough to tell the results without even having to hear the good news. He then added a detailed explanation.

“The pheromones have stabilized, and the blood test and other basic test results are all good. There are a few more items that need to be tested, but you can rest assured.”

Steward, who had said that, smiled mischievously.

“It was worth all the hard work for several days, Mr. Bailey.”

Joshua took the coffee to his mouth with a tired gesture without saying anything. I don’t know how many days they rolled around on the bed like that. The two of them had sex until they died, kissed until they died, and hugged until they died. The amount of pheromones pouring out was so great that Josh often felt a sense of crisis that he was going to suffocate. He repeated this action every time he woke up. No, Chase hardly slept. Every time Josh opened his eyes, he was ejaculating inside him, endlessly pouring out pheromones.

When Chase finally regained consciousness after finishing his rut, it had been almost a week.

“By the way, Bailey’s stamina is really amazing. Are all the bodyguards like that?”

Steward looked over the test results and was impressed once again. Josh answered casually.

“Of course, you have to be strong to protect someone.”

Everyone could tell who he was talking about even without looking at him. Chase, who noticed the double meaning, pretended to drink coffee and hid his flushed cheeks. Steward continued.

“We need to study more about why the rut was this long. It’s not good if there’s another problem.”

“If there’s no problem in the regular checkup, I’ll just let it go.”

Josh cut him off firmly. Not only did he have doubts about Steward, he also didn’t like the idea of treating Chase like a lab rat. Steward seemed to notice his thoughts and smiled bitterly.

“I’m a doctor after all. I wouldn’t do anything that would harm a patient. Well, I’ll admit that I made a mistake this time.”

He continued coolly.

“When Chase first stopped taking the medication, it might have been better to just stop and wait and see. I admit it. But doctors don’t always make the right choices.”

Steward, who seemed a little dispirited, quickly added with a smile.

“But that’s fortunate. It seems our pheromones matched well.”
