King of Titans and Dragons

Chapter 25 - 25 25 The Golden Dragon Mother who Traps Her

Chapter 25: Chapter 25: The Golden Dragon Mother who Traps Her Child Chapter 25: Chapter 25: The Golden Dragon Mother who Traps Her Child Dragons are magical creatures naturally capable of flight.

Upon seeing Muria fly into the sky, the young dragons spread their broad crimson wings one after another, chasing after him. Cynthia and Renata were still the most reluctant, with the two little female dragons purposely trailing behind the rest.

In the sky, Muria was playfully toying with the young dragons using his superior flight speed and his abundant flying experience. He had realized that dealing with these young dragons now felt incredibly easy to him.

Not to mention, among the six young dragons, two were deliberately underperforming. He was older, stronger, and faster than the young dragons, and more agile. Besides, he had mastered all the attacking magics in the first to the fourth ring. He really couldn’t think of any other reasons why he would be defeated now.

Muria glanced down briefly and was astounded. “They can still get up? Should I say they are truly worthy of being the strongest dragons?”

On the ground below, from the dragon-shaped pit that Muria had blasted into the granite slab floor of the martial arts field, Auston clumsily crawled out. After taking just a few steps, this young dragon adjusted from their unsteady condition back to normal.

Auston squinted his crimson dragon’s eyes towards the sky, then spread his wings. After a short sprint, he too took off into the sky and joined the battle against Muria.

“Such vitality and physical quality, dragons are truly abnormal,” Muria mumbled to himself, completely oblivious to the fact that he’s an even more abnormal existence than the dragons. “They’re basically forged out of iron and steel. That fall I took just now would have left me deformed, yet they seem perfectly fine.”

Muria had a newfound respect for the physical capabilities and resilience of the dragons. “It seems I need to show some of my real skills! I have to win in style.”

First Ring magic, Magic Missile!

“Whizz! Whizz! Whizz!” Dozens of pale blue energy balls were cast by Muria, targeting each of the six young dragons before hitting them.

“Boom! Boom! Boom!” The energy balls hit the young dragons and exploded one after another, echoing the prediction of Muria without causing any sort of magical damage to them.

However, the shock wave produced by the explosion did slightly affect the flight posture of the young dragons, and that was exactly what Muria had aimed for. He flapped his wide dragon wings and quickly rushed into the cluster of young dragons, grabbing the tail of one before the others had time to react.

“Muria, don’t!” The young dragon Albert, whose tail was grabbed by Muria, instantly went into a state of panic. He watched helplessly as Muria lifted him overhead and then violently slammed him downwards.

Young dragon Albert instantly turned into a red meteor and smashed onto the ground. “Bang!” The huge impact caused the ground that Albert touched to explode, setting off dust and debris. The surrounding shrubs were stripped bare by the shock wave, leaving only a few bare trunks.

Muria looked at the dizzy young dragon Albert and shifted his gaze elsewhere. It seemed as if Albert wouldn’t be able to recover any time soon and wouldn’t trouble him for a while.

In the air, after several rounds of combat with the five young dragons, Muria finally caught a break and grabbed the dragon he wanted the most – the youngest female dragon, Renata.

“Mr. Muria, can you not throw me down? I’m afraid of pain,” said little female dragon Renata, her eyes filled with tears, looking at Muria pitifully. Her pathetic demeanor was in stark contrast to her ferocious red dragon appearance.

“Good girl, I will throw you into the lake below. Once you’re in the water, just play dead and do not come up again,” Muria told the little female dragon, who had already sneakily betrayed her kin and frequently reported on the other five young dragons to him.

“Okay!” The little female dragon nodded quickly. She didn’t want to fight Muria, but wanted to fit in with her siblings, so she had to join them.

“Splash!” As Muria promised, he accurately threw the little female dragon Renata into a freshwater lake that had formed on the island due to rain.

Being very obedient, the little female dragon stayed under the water and did not surface, refusing to fly again. After all, for dragons, what’s a mere underwater environment compared to surviving even in places like the Abyss where the air is toxic? Even if the element contradicts theirs, it doesn’t matter much.

The peculiar behavior of the little female dragon Renata went unnoticed by the remaining three young dragons, except for Cynthia, who had been underperforming from the beginning along with Renata. After pondering for a few moments, Cynthia hatched a plan.

After a few more bouts, Cynthia intentionally approached Muria, who, quite predictably, grabbed her by the neck.

“Can you toss me into the water like Renata? I promise not to fly again,” whispered Cynthia to Muria.

“Certainly.” Muria looked at Cynthia with surprise, but eventually agreed to her request. The physical quality and recovery power of dragons were vexing. As he was unable to kill them, Muria had no choice but to engage in a battle of endurance with them.

Meanwhile, in the Crystal Castle
“The Red Dragons breed is getting worse with each generation,” said the Golden Dragon Mother Atris, seated on her throne and watching a live broadcast. “However, at least they have been of some use, by making little Muria seriously study for a while.”

“But what’s next? After little Muria wins, he will undoubtedly become complacent, and like most dragons, eat and sleep all the time, becoming a useless dragon living off inherited talents.” The beautiful girl sat on the majestic throne, pondering with a troubled look on her face.

“Crackling!” Just as the Golden Dragon Mother was lost in thought, a golden thunderbolt shattered the space beside her. A youth with flying black hair and sharp facial features, dressed in armor and accompanied by thunder and storm, stepped through the space rift and arrived by her side.

“Well, hello there, Ansol. How’ve you been doing in the Abyss?” The Golden Dragon Mother greeted the man standing next to her with familiarity. The man was her husband, Muria’s father, the legendary Titan, Ansol Iapetos.

“The killing was quite satisfying.” The youth with black hair spoke cheerfully and it was apparent that he was in good spirits.

“How many demon lords did you kill?”

“I lost count, but it was about six or seven.”

“And the remains of these demon lords?”

“I sent them to the elves.”

“Oh!” Atris, the Golden Dragon Mother, nodded, ending the conversation as she lost interest in what she needed.

However, just because the Golden Dragon Mother didn’t feel like talking didn’t mean that Titan Ansol didn’t. The Titan, now reduced to the size of an ordinary human, looked at the crystal screen in front of the throne and laughed.

“I can’t believe how much my son has grown in such a short time. Looks like he’s having fun!”

“It’s not been a short time, it’s been thirteen full years.” The Golden Dragon Mother suddenly remembered something and became interested.

“Thirteen years? Time certainly flies!” Ansol nodded, and sighed.

“Are you planning to go see Little Muria next?”

“Well, what else?” Ansol looked at the Golden Dragon Mother in confusion.

“You definitely can’t go like this.” The Golden Dragon Mother’s mood suddenly became excited, “You should know, Little Muria hasn’t seen you since he was born. As a father, you’ve been quite incompetent. Therefore, to make up for your mistake, you should prepare a gift for Little Muria.”

“Makes sense.” Ansol nodded in agreement, then turned to the Golden Dragon Mother, “What do you think I should give to my son, whom I haven’t seen for thirteen years?”

“I do have a suggestion.” The Golden Dragon Mother squinted her eyes and smiled. She waved her hand, and book after book flowed through numerous small Doors of Choices, floating around the throne.

“These are all the books Little Muria has read in his thirteen years of life, excluding magic books,” the Golden Dragon Mother introduced the books to Ansol.

Ansol glanced over them, “Hatching of White Dragon Eggs,” “Effects of Environment on Dragon Eggs,” “Necessary Conditions for Hatching Dragon Eggs,” “Nurturing Dragon Eggs,” “Study on the Birth Environment of Dragons…”
“Looking at the titles of these books, it’s clear that my son likes dragon eggs.”

Then, the Titan cast his gaze upon the screen, where he saw several young red dragons. He nodded thoughtfully, “He also likes keeping dragons.”

“Now you understand what gift to give to Little Muria!” the Golden Dragon Mother said with a grin.

“I understand.” Ansol turned to the Golden Dragon Mother, “How many red dragon eggs did you give to Muria?”

“Not many, just six.”

“Six, huh!” Ansol muttered, then he opened a rift in space, and left the Crystal Castle, “I’m off to prepare the gift. It may take some time.”

Upon hearing her husband’s words as he departed, the Golden Dragon Mother nodded with satisfaction and returned to her earlier relaxed posture, “Little Muria should be grateful to me. If it weren’t for my reminder, Ansol wouldn’t have thought about preparing a gift.”

The Golden Dragon Mother Atris declared without self-awareness, she didn’t feel like she was setting up her child. She believed she was thinking about Muria’s future. And indeed, she was.

Meanwhile, up in the sky over the martial arts field, Muria was happily playing with four young dragons, and the two small female dragons, Cynthia and Renata, obediently played dead at the bottom of a lake.

“They’re so weak.” Muria thought in mid-air as he gazed at the four young dragons, occasionally grabbing one and smashing it onto the ground, creating dragon-shaped holes on the sea island.

He wasn’t worried about the young dragons being injured as Muria could always see, within minutes of being smashed into the ground and creating a huge crater, they would get up and continue to attack him.

Suddenly, Muria shivered for no reason in mid-air. “What’s happening?” Given his monstrous physique, common illnesses could hardly affect him.

At this moment, Muria was not aware that his father, the legendary Titan Ansol, influenced by the Golden Dragon Mother, was preparing a “wholehearted” welcome gift for him.
