Chapter 828: Chapter 519: Generous Nun (Vote for Monthly Ticket!)
The next day.
At nine in the morning.
The wooden door of the Generous Church had already been opened wide.
Today is Monday, and it is also the worship day of the God of Covenant. The residents of Cold Leaf City flocked to the church with devout smiles, walking in from the outer court in an orderly manner.
Men and women, young and old, eagerly anticipated today’s mass, hoping to hear the new Priest convey the gospel of the God of Covenant to them, thus shielding them from injustice and betrayal.
A black-clad Missionary stood at the entrance of the outer courtyard, nodding and smiling as each believer entered, handing them a newly printed flyer.
“Good day, Miss Jenning, this is a new service provided by the Generous Church for all residents. Please share this gospel with your family and friends in need…”
“Good day, Mr. Harir, please be sure to take a look.”
“Good day, Mrs. Tatum…”
“Oh, the new Bishop is actually willing to treat ‘Frostbite Disease’ for the residents of Cold Leaf City?!”
A slightly plump woman looked at the flyer, her expression excited and incredulous. She turned around to share the good news with another woman, and the people around them reacted with surprise and joy.
“Is this true?”
“Of course it’s true. The flyer even has the seal of the Generous Church.”
“Praise Covenant! Praise the Bishop!”
The believers looked at the flyer in their hands as if they saw hope for salvation. Some of their family members or friends were suffering from ‘Frostbite Disease’ but were unable to get proper treatment due to financial constraints.
Now, with this new service offered by the Generous Church, and for free, the residents felt extremely elated and immensely grateful.
“Priest Lisman, if we want to treat ‘Frostbite Disease,’ is there anything we need to do?”
A modestly dressed middle-aged man, holding a flyer, hesitated as he asked.
The black-clad Missionary at the entrance recognized this man. He was a tailor living nearby, and his elderly mother was suffering and in great pain from ‘Frostbite Disease.’
What do you think?
