Chapter 374: Zaraphina's Anger
Exisia's exquisitely carved brows furrowed in complicated thought. "Why is it that you tend to speak as if you aren't an Angel yourself…? You and your companions all have between six and eight wings… As for your question, I don't like women that way. But more importantly than that, Zara… She's known for being extremely cruel to those who catch her eye."
Cassius gave a slow, acknowledging nod. "I see," he said. "It would seem that, behind all that beauty, there resides a genuine devil—one true to her nature. Not that I care, for I'm no saint either."
Exisia helplessly nodded, sticking close to him, much to the dismay of Yimin and Maxy.
As a counter, they clung to him, pressing their large, squishy melons against him. More than a little pride shone through their expressions after realizing they were 'superior' in that department.
'Mashter only has eyes for the Yimins, hoho~! Not any of the other stinky b*tches…!'
Maxy was thinking something along those same lines, except she didn't sound so… mentally restricted…
Cassius and the gang eventually made it outside the massive Tartarus Arena. Now floating around in the Abyss of Tartarus—or what was more commonly referred to as the Pits of Tartarus—he encapsulated them in a protective bubble. With this, they could safely ascend back the way they came down.
However…
"It would appear that the Grand Champion of whatever is not willing to let us go," Cassius revealed with a small smirk, deciding to change directions and head deeper into the Pits of Tartarus. "I think we'll have a showdown soon, but while she's catching up, I'll farm a little. Or maybe a lot…"
In spite of the unease Exisia was experiencing, Cassius freely slaughtered swimming Sea-Beasts of Tartarus, many of whom were in the Transcendent Rank.
'Why is he treating the threat she poses like it's no big deal…?'
That and similar such thoughts swirled around within Exisia's head as she found herself staring at Cassius's backside on more than one occasion.
Until eventually…
"Stop right there!!"
A furious feminine bellow was followed by several arcs of energy carving million-mile-wide fissures in every direction around Cassius. Zaraphina then made her grand appearance, her aura pressuring everything in the vicinity.
Even from within the protective bubble their Master had set up, Yimin and Maxy were definitely feeling the pressure. Even the Peak Transcendent Exisia was experiencing mild strain, and that was just from being near Zaraphina.
Curving his lips up in amusement, Cassius turned around ever so sharply. The crimson sword in his hand still dripped with blood, urging him to eloquently swing it around a few times to clean it off. After which, he pointed it directly at the livid-faced Demon Woman.
"Are you positive this is a fight you wish to have?" he asked calmly, his voice sending shivers up and down Zaraphina's spine. "You'll lose."
"!!!"
Enraged, Zaraphina shook off his killing intent.
Glancing at Exisia's frightful countenance, her anger soared even further. "You—win!? Do you have any idea who you're speaking to!?"
Cassius summoned Mora, lobbing her large scythe form over his right shoulder. "Quit it with the nonsense. If you want to lose so badly, then I don't mind fulfilling your wish."
"YOUU!!!"
RUMBLE!
The Pits of Tartarus violently trembled, with Sea-Beasts of Tartarus fleeing the scene, not daring to try to get a quick meal.
"Come," Cassius beckoned with outstretched fingers. "Let us witness the destined outcome together."
*Fwooop—!*
Not wishing to listen to his condescending words any longer, Zaraphina burst forward. She broke the barrier of light countless times over, her figure fading into a blur.
However, much to her angered surprise, her opponent smirked in the face of her extreme speed. Yet she still charged forward as fast as she could, planning to wipe that smirk—and him—out of existence.
Only then could she get Exisia for herself!
The drop-dead gorgeous Royal Angel she had been coveting for years would finally be hers!
'I just have to get her out of the dirty hands of this man bastar—'
Suddenly, her vision spiraled.
A gust of wind then blew behind her, sending rolling ripples through the volcanic Abyss.
Slowly looking down, Zaraphina's complexion worsened considerably. But before she could get a clear view of the fist planted in the core of her stomach, the force behind the punch finally registered. Wind exploded outward, sending her flying backward like an out-of-control rocket.
BOOOOM!
"Rawrgh—"
Smashing into a solar-system-sized Tartarus Beast, Zaraphina blasted a massive, gaping hole out of its back end. It wailed in pain while attempting to swim away, but a different figure passed through the same point, leisurely executing it.
Teleporting next to the still-cannonballing Zaraphina, Cassius showed visible disappointment. "You were stronger when you didn't have access to your emotions. Now… Now you're just mediocre."
"!?!?"
Without time to properly react, Zaraphina's vision was consumed by a massive surge of Demonic Energy. Despite the astonishment over knowing that an Eight-winged Angel couldn't possibly utilize Demonic Energy, she had no choice but to accept the facts presented before her in the form of an apocalyptic Skyfall of Destruction.

CRACKLE—BOOOOOOM!
Everything for billions of miles crumbled before the overwhelming might of Cassius's hyper-improved Demon King Cultivation. An attack he developed himself razed everything to nothing, permanently altering the flow of volcanic energy in this wide section of the Pits of Tartarus.
Reappearing somewhere outside the range of annihilation, Cassius apathetically observed the giant sphere that deleted everything for billions of miles; he watched as it shrunk. It continued to shrink and shrink until eventually disappearing entirely, leaving an enormous sphere of darkness that needed filling up, which the surrounding volcanic energies did right away.
Ultimately, that huge plot of space returned to looking the way it did before, though it brought with it an eeriness that permeated the atmosphere.
"Da B*tch dead?" Yimin put a finger to her chin, scrutinizing the once-destroyed space with childlike curiosity. "If dead, can Yimins go eat them—"
OOOOM!!
What do you think?
