When Xu Jinzhi left the house in the morning, Tuantuan followed her like a little tail, looking like he wanted to go with her.
“What’s wrong with Tuantuan?” Xu Jinzhi was puzzled and stopped to ask Tuantuan.
Tuantuan was now over two years old; he hadn’t started preschool yet. Xu Jinzhi and Xie Yanchuan had decided he would start in the latter half of the year.
So, he always stayed at home, and usually, when Xu Jinzhi and Xie Yanchuan left for work, Tuantuan would send them to the door, then watch them leave.
But today Tuantuan followed Xu Jinzhi, looking like he wanted to get in the car with her—a behavior last seen when he was under a year old.
Tuantuan blinked his big watery eyes, looking at Xu Jinzhi without intending to speak.
Seeing this, Xu Jinzhi spoke softly and tenderly, “Mom is going to work now, Tuantuan, play at home by yourself, and mom will come back in the evening, okay?”
However, Tuantuan did not respond to Xu Jinzhi. His tiny hands couldn’t grasp Xu Jinzhi’s entire hand; he just held onto two of her fingers and did not want to let go.
