In the past, the eastern part of the Empire was engulfed in turmoil.

Pirates and monsters constantly emerged from the eastern sea, tormenting the people. The dried-up sky and land made food production impossible, and in the chaos, bandits and fraudsters appeared, preying on the remaining wealth of the survivors.

At that time, a noble family stepped forward.

Count Yord successfully secured the central region of the East through his immense power, and in doing so, the Empire's territory was fully expanded to the eastern sea.

The mana that Count Yord wielded soon breathed life back into the land and sky, ensuring a sustained way of life.

To the people of the East, Count Yord was nothing less than a hero, and they began to hold festivals in his honor on the anniversary of his death.

The sound of Tempest's leisurely hooves echoed as we found ourselves in the midst of a vast plain.

As had been promised in the morning, we were heading to the Yord estate to partake in the festival and offer our gratitude.

The anniversary festival of Count Yord, also known as the Festival of the Eastern Plains.

This was actually not something I had read about in the original novel.

'It was mentioned in one of Tania's letters.'

In a letter the Emperor had sent to Tania, it mentioned the intention to provide magical support to the Yord family.

However, concerned that Tania might have ignored that order, I decided to look up more about the Yord family. I had thought of going myself in case it was an urgent matter, but fortunately, it was all related to the festival.

"But isn’t an anniversary usually quiet? Especially for a noble family..."

"It seems it was Count Yord’s dying wish. He told the citizens to distribute food when he passed away."

The positive reactions of those who were pleased and Count Yord's own cheerful personality, which had always favored bright atmospheres, combined to create this festival.

People from the Arnoth Marquess family, as well as those from beyond the sea, would visit too. By the way, the reason people from the kingdom across the sea would come was because Count Yord had rid them of the pirates.

He had wiped out the pirates who had been tormenting them, so they had every reason to be grateful.
