I Was Summoned as the Academy’s Janitor… But I Accidentally Became the Most Overpowered Harem Protagonist?!

Chapter 14: Zephyr Joins the Royal Banquet… and Accidentally Ends a Civil War?

The Grand Ballroom – Fire Kingdom Capital

‎Due to political tensions between Flame and Frost territories (and maybe because Zephyr unintentionally beat both their heirs in duels), the academy politely forced him to attend a royal banquet.

‎“It’s just dinner,” they said.

‎“No one will challenge you,” they said.

‎They lied.

Banquet Begins

‎Zephyr wore an elegant black-and-gold academy uniform. His hair had been reluctantly styled by three maids and enchanted to shine under chandelier light. The result?

‎‎Every. Single. Noble. Daughter. Was staring.

‎‎Even the queen whispered,

 “Is that the janitor?”

‎‎He sighed.

‎“I miss my mop.”

Tension Builds

‎‎On his left: Princess Seraphina, glaring at the Frost nobles.

‎On his right: Lady Glacielle von Everfrost, cold and smug.

‎‎“How crude. I suppose you train by scrubbing stables?”

‎‎Zephyr:

“Only when they’re on fire.”

The insult war escalated. Everyone tensed. A minor noble shouted:

‎“I challenge him to a duel for national pride!”

‎‎Zephyr stood.

‎‎“I challenge everyone here to sit down, eat soup, and not duel.”

‎‎Silence.

‎Then… the soup arrived.

‎He took a bite.

‎‎His eyes widened.

‎‎“This… is spicy AND cold. Who made this?”

‎An elderly chef raised a trembling hand.

‎‎“It’s a symbol of unity, sir…”

‎Zephyr stood and raised the spoon high.

‎“Then let this soup be a ceasefire!”

‎Somehow… that worked.

‎Everyone started laughing, then clapping, then—diplomats signed a temporary peace pact under the “Soup Treaty.”

Balcony After Dinner

‎Zephyr leaned against a balcony rail. Snowflakes fell.

‎Seraphina stepped beside him, arms crossed.

‎“You saved face for both sides… with soup.”

‎‎He grinned.

‎“A janitor knows how to clean up messes.”

‎She smirked.

‎ “Still not letting you off. You owe me a proper duel.”

‎‎Then Glacielle stepped in from the other side.

‎“And a rematch. For personal reasons.”

‎Zephyr turned.

‎“Wait, I’m supposed to rest after dinner, not duel royalty—”

‎‎BAM. A third girl burst through the doors.

‎Princess Sylfa of Wind Dormitory, flying in with a dramatic spin:

‎ “I heard someone’s forming a harem without me!”

‎Final Panel: Zephyr trapped between three royal girls arguing over whose “duel” takes priority.

‎He drops his spoon.

“I should’ve stayed in the janitor closet…”
