I Was Mistaken as a Great War Commander

Thanks to the hotel staff handing over the key, Lucy and Daniel were able to enter the same room.

It was a decent room, equipped with a bedroom, a small kitchen, and a bathroom.

The problem was that there was only one bedroom.

With limited sleeping space, the two of them had no choice but to spend the night in the same place.

That fact unsettled Daniel in more ways than one.

‘Could she really be planning to devour me…?’

As he broke into a cold sweat, trying to gauge Lucy’s intentions, the soft rustling sound of clothes being removed reached his ears.

When he turned around, Lucy was taking off her coat and hanging it on the rack.

The moment their eyes met, Lucy let out a short breath before stepping toward him.

She reached out her hand.

"If you hand me your coat, I’ll hang it up for you."
"Ah. That’s not really necessary…"
"Please. Leave the clothing arrangements to me, Colonel, and focus on washing up and preparing for bed."

Unable to refuse, Daniel removed his coat and handed it to Lucy.

Then, he stepped into the bathroom.

After taking a shower and drying himself off with a towel, Daniel slipped into a bathrobe.

With a deep breath, he opened the bathroom door—only to see Lucy crouched down, checking under the bed.

"…What are you doing?"

At the sound of his voice, Lucy straightened up.

She casually dusted off her clothes before responding without the slightest hint of concern.

"Just making sure we’re prepared for any unexpected situations."

If there were any hidden listening devices, it was only right to remove them.

"And…."

Murmuring softly, Lucy reached into her coat and pulled out a small paper box, no larger than the palm of her hand.

She held it out to him, as if expecting him to take it.

Daniel felt a chill run down his spine.

‘This is….’

No matter how he looked at it, it was a box of condoms.

‘She’s really planning to devour me. Is she trying to bring her honey trap strategy to its climax by taking things to bed?’

As Daniel trembled in shock, Lucy blinked at him with innocent eyes.

"The front desk staff provided it separately. It seems to be vitamins. You should take one before sleeping."
