Jake hugged old man Duke and Jake greeted the two women behind him.

"Welcome, your highness," they greeted with a slight bow. Old man Duke's eyes were fixed on the girls and Jake for some reason.

"What are you girls' names?" Jake said, stretching his hand forward to shake name.

"My name is Maya," the one with brown long hair and a mole on her nose said, shaking Jake back.

"My name is Nala," the second girl said, shaking Jake. She also has brown long hair just like Maya. The only thing she didn't have was the mole but she looked exactly just like Maya.

"Are you guys twins?" Jake asked as he looked at the two of them carefully. He could only tell them apart due to the mole on Maya's nose.

"Yes!" Maya and Nala answered simultaneously with a bright smile.

"Ahem… w-why don't we sit over there and enjoy ourselves?" old man Duke said, removing Nala's hand from Jake's.

'Damn you old man, why would you be enjoying good things? He doesn't even trust me anymore.' Jake thought as he realized old man Duke removed his hand, out of fear that he would steal Maya and Nala from him.

They sat down around a table not too far from the grill. There were crates of beer and liquors arranged under the table.

"Why so many beers?" Jake asked as he noticed several empty bottles lying on the ground too.

"Well, me and my girls drink them," Old man Duke replied.

"I see…" Jake muttered and got up. "Well, I am going to take some meat for myself," Jake said, moving to the grill. He picked up the knife.

Seeing the info, Jake was grossed out as eating a wolf was akin to a domestic dog but…

'This shit is tantalizing.' Jake drooled from the corner of his mouth as he picked up a knife and cut through part of the wolf meat. Its juice sizzled and a burst of aroma exploded from the part Jake cut.

Jake put the big slice of meat into his plate and put some toppings like tiny slices of blood moon fruit.

Then he returned to the table, sitting opposite Maya. Right in this angle, he paid attention to the clothes she was wearing. It was a lace-like black lingerie from which her protruding nipples could be seen. Nala was also wearing the same type but different color.

Swallowing a mouthful of saliva, Jake began eating the meat. He opened a bottle of beer and gulped it down in one go. He opened the second, third, fourth, fifth, six, and seventh. But this time, he didn't gulp down the seventh bottle as he was already getting somewhat tipsy.

Then he began to tell old man Duke everything, the reason why he came back early and the visit of the Dhampir King.

"Wow…" Old man Duke muttered, instantly losing his appetite for food. The name of the Dhampir king struck memories in him as he remembered how he violently fought during the revolution, the amount of vampire prominent nobles that was killed. But then again, the vampires were the cause from the start.

"So, are you sure this is a good idea? Why would he willingly agree to come? What if he is planning something sinister?" Old man Duke said with worry in his face.

"Don't worry, I have prepared just in case. I have someone with me. Do you remember Amber, Misty's second personality? Well, she isn't exactly a…." Jake began to explain to old man Duke again.

"Ah, a lot has been going on that I had no idea about. If that's the case and you are confident in her ability to intercept any threat while you have a meeting with the Dhampir King, then I will leave everything to you," Old man Duke said with a small laugh, popping another bottle of beer.

They gist, laugh and at some point, old man Duke told Nala and Maya to head inside, leaving only him and Jake.

Old man Duke leaned forward and glanced left and right as if to make sure no one was listening.

"So, how is it going with Zunda? You didn't update me? I heard her research budget has been added to the kingdom's budget. There has to be some sort of deal before you approve that. Did you fuck her in exchange for research budget?" Old man Duke asked.

Jake paused, looking at old man Duke weirdly due to the odd question he asked. "No wonder she left you. She told me you once begged to get back with her in exchange for her research budget," Jake shook his head.

"She didn't have to say those embarrassing parts," Water streamed down old man Duke's eyes before he suddenly let out a sigh. "I don't know, I kind of fucked up big time. I treated her badly and I guess I don't deserve her. She is just too good for me," Old man Duke said emotionally, taking a gulp of beer and opening another bottle.

"Thank goodness you know that yourself. It's ridiculous to ask for a sexual relationship with someone who was your wife in return for research that is going to benefit the entire planet. You are a bigger pervert than I thought. By the way, she told me a big secret of yours," Jake also leaned forward, grinning from ear to ear.

"W-What do you mean?" Old man Duke's face burned in embarrassment.

"She said her pinky finger is bigger than your winnie and you still had the guts to cheat on her and treat her badly. The cheating wasn't even her problem but you gave her lots of infections and—"

"Enough, that's not what I asked for. Are you here to mock me or what now that you know my dick is tiny," Old man Duke sighed, cursing inwardly at his luck for receiving Jake as a visitor tonight.

"Hahaha, I am just kidding. Though, she said everything but not in a way that you think it was. It was out of pain. By the way, just like you asked, she and I had sex. We had a good time and went on a date even," Jake revealed.

Old man Duke gulped down another bottle of beer. "Had a good time huh, I am glad she is now finally happy. Now she might be able to fulfill her long time dreams of becoming a great scientist. I wish I could turn back time and fix all my mistakes," Old man Duke said, standing up on his feets. But as he did, he almost tumbled but was caught by Jake.

"I am going inside. I had a lot of drinks today. Pack up the remaining meat for the girls at your place. We'll see tomorrow," Old man to said, staggering inside.

Jake quickly packed the remaining grilled meat and stored it in his inventory and called the maids to clean up.

As Jake left old man Duke's chamber, he stretched his fingers apart and saw a small tiny paper there.

"Let's see what Nala wrote inside," Jake grinned.
